Consumers are always at risk when buying used or refurbished property; a CheckMEND search before you buy can help you avoid a nasty surprise later. A CheckMEND report will alert whoever performed the search (retailers, corporations, insurers, police or members of the public) to the item’s history and status. You may purchase a used item that works for months or years, but when you try to sell it to a responsible trader, their check with us shows it was stolen before you bought it. This proactive crime prevention doesn’t always make us popular, but it does mean we’re doing the right thing. In the unlikely event that a record reported to us is incorrect, we provide full support to resolve it with the provider. iPhone Broken, AppleCare good, Wrong Report holding phone replacement back
My iPhone is broken, I have apple care, and can get it replaced. However due to a report from CheckMend it isn’t allowed…when I email. No response. All phones are to sketchy or seemingly illegitimate business operations in Australia, UK, and America. No verbal communication whatsoever. Very frustrating to be held back and then reaching out to hear nothing.

Terrible company,as others tried to upgrade phone with sky only to told it is reported stolen,have email confirmation from the police that it is not,but still fails there search and no hope of getting MY phone back!

Almost perfect. But small problem took about an hour to resolve.
Everything was fine except for finding the requirement to fill this in - IMEI/Serial No./Identifier #1. I thought I was looking for 3 things. You need people who know very little about modern technology to advise you. Experts will miss the problem.

A scam of a company . I have emailed them no reply . Music magpie referred me to them and no response . I have less than 10 days sort this out otherwise musicmagpie will dispose of my £500 iPhone . I’m shocked and stuck in a mess .
