We do our best to forecast how prices might move in the short term, but unfortunately these predictions cannot be 100% accurate - airfares resemble in many ways other commodity prices like gas prices or currencies, for which short-term forecasts are not easy. World events, local events, weather, or even competition among airlines can send the prices up or down unexpectedly.
That said we continuously work to refine and improve our forecasting technologies, but the reality is that forecasts can never be perfect and unfortunately some of the forecasts may fail.
However please be assured that overall our forecasts are right more often than not.

My experience was better online than speaking to a travel advisor just moments earlier who said the flight was booked out but he could get me on similar but it was a little more expensive. YES, about $500 so pleased to go back online and save.
