Rude Chat Agents
I used the chat, Francisco is the WORST! He had no helpful information, then disconnected the chat twice, before actually finding out if I had more questions.
I have been a customer with Chase…
I have been a customer with Chase banking for over 20 years. I never had a problem with them until recently. My Chase freedom credit card: I have been charged twice for one purchase. I have had a charge show up with no explanation, a charge I did not make. The item they charged me twice for was solved so I thought. It showed up on my account again after I paid for the original charge. Chase warns us of fraud and to be careful well, how can you stop Chase from being fraudulent with what they can add to your credit card themselves! I spoke with the vendor of the item Chase charged me twice for. They said they only charged me once so it is Chase doing this! The other charge I have no idea what it was for or whom it came from. No explanation, date or anything just a charge. Maybe Chase has customers that don't check their accounts and they think they can get away with charging people whatever. I am not one of those people! I check my accounts daily. I know what I use my credit for and the amount. I will look for a new company to bank with.
We take two trips to Cancun each year
We take two trips to Cancun each year. The first, in January 2026; I booked on my own & the second, the second week in March 2026; I booked thru Chase Travel. While in Cancun in January we decided to walk down the beach to the resort we would be staying at in March. It was being completely renovated & were told it would not be open & available to receive guests until May 2026. How was I able to book this resort if this was the case & more importantly, if we would not have checked we would have arrived in March for our stay only to find our resort unavailable. The second issue was our roundtrip transportation in March from the airport to our resort in the Hotel Zone. Upon meeting with our transportation rep. & showing him our confirmation & travel vouchers I was told our reservation had been cancelled. When I asked who cancelled it, because I certainly did not; not did I receive a cancellation and/or refund. Bottom line, Happy Shuttle did not have any transportation & we were forced to taxi at twice the cost to get to & from the airport to our resort. Approximately three hours after checking in at the resort I received an email in my inbox letting me know that my transportation with Happy Shuttle had been cancelled & that I would be receiving a full refund. No one has yet to tell me who cancelled my transportation nor have I received an apology.
Called toll free number
Call toll free number, takes 4min of forced options to get to customer service call back option, an hour later no call back. Random fees on account which have never come before. Don’t pay them anyone - they’re charging bs fees and not available ever to answer questions
The worst bank in the United States
Chase Zelle for $500.0 lost!
I used Chase Zelle to place a $500.00 down payment for work from my auto dealer on Feb 17th 2026. I used the number the auto dealer gave me who also showed me completions of payment using this Zelle number. I added it to my Chase checking account and Chase recognized and named dealer associated with that number. Feeling confident I Zelled the $500.00, the auto dealer never got it? I placed a claim with Chase and they declined any responsibility. Looking for a new bank!
Customer Service has no accountability or transparency
Chase made a mistake in not recording an extra payment I made on my mortgage on 12/31, and it affected the 1098 form they sent. As of today, 3/14 they still haven't resolved it. For over 2 months I received auto message saying they're still researching my issue. In phone calls they can't provide any new information and they won't provide a timeline for fixing their mistake. I ended up writing an urgent request and complaint to executives of JP Morgan Chase. Their customer service is abominable and unacceptable. In summary, there is no accountability or transparency.
Bate and switch by Chase
received an email from Chase saying they inadvertently sent me a balance transfer offer however they were willing to honor that request as long as I did it before March 11. After speaking to several Chase employees on March 10th I escalated to executive complaints. I was told it may take a day or two to resolve the issue but rest assured they would honor it. The offer was good only until March 11 today I got a call and said “ oops it’s March 12, Sorry but the offer has expired” You have GOT to be kidding me!!! I am so disappointed in Chase, I feel like they deliberately waited till the 12th until the offer expired. What kind of double speak is this?!?!
I notified Chase of a suspected scam
I notified Chase of a suspected scam. They said they couldn’t do anything because the charges hadn’t posted yet. When they were posted Chase paid the vendor and I never received the $7,000+ dollars of merchandise. I filed several disputes and Chase denied them and would not refund my money. I still have never received the merchandise and Chase closed the dispute. I would not recommend Chase for anything.
Put account under review
They put my account under review no explanation told me nothing its been over 3 weeks and still can't access my money this is a disgrace how is this illegal. Never ever use this bank.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service, forget about a hello or thank you. The tellers are too busy chatting and laughing, you may even hear a occasional F word out of their mouths. The manager Angela is terrible, she has no control over her employees and sets a terrible example.
i visited the drive-through today to…
I am a long term customer- I visited the drive-through today to obtain a cashier’s check. I completed the slip, During the interaction, the teller Courtney asked where the payee was ( who the check was made out to- looking for an opportunity to catch a fraudulent transaction) no sorry my id, account, name signature was spot on. Courtney out of frustration came back to the window with my id and check in hand ready for a fight. She began asking me how to pronounce my name. I just motion for her to please send me my check she refused to do it. She started arguing with me, saying that I was being rude. I just did not want to have conversation with this. Tell her she was just obviously not well. She demanded that I respond to her. I did motion to keep from it turning into an argument regardless, she began arguing at me. I told her to finally please send my check in my ID. She went off and walked away. I drove off.
I later called the branch to speak with a manager, Courtney answered the call, but the call unfortunately turned into another argument, she refused to let me speak with someone.
I value professionalism and respectful customer service and would appreciate this incident being reviewed. I would also like to confirm that my account is noted appropriately and that future interactions can be handled in a respectful manner.
Just awful!
I have had a card with chase for 15+ years, recently they tried to take a "minimum" payment of $1600 from my account.
When I contacted them due to the minimum listed at under $300 a month, the rep could not figure out why it was trying to take so much.
Within less than a month they attempted to charge my account 3 separate times for $1600, during which I paid $600 (more than the minimum) and they shut down my account..... no investigation, no understanding, I've never had missed payments the entire time I had the card, after two months of issues I paid the card off, and yet now they are unwilling to fix their mess up and reopen the account I didn't mess up to begin with. Yet they offered me the chance to open a new account with them, pass, I won't be back....
Customer service is terrible
Customer service is terrible. Website is terrible. I would consider using this bak again if there was no other banks to choose from. Maybe if it came down to a chose between BoA, Chase and Bread and I had to pick one I might pick chase. But it’d be close and I’d probably just opt for fillings safe with cash instead.
Overseas and Canceled my card
Overseas and Canceled my card. Customer service RUDE. Don't use auto pay so you have at least some leverage over them!
DO NOT OPEN A CHASE ACCOUNT UNLESS YOU…
DO NOT OPEN A CHASE ACCOUNT UNLESS YOU LIKE NOT BEING ABLE TO ACCESS YOUR ACCOUNTS ONLINE, SPEAK WITH A CHASE ASSOCIATE WHO UNDERSTANDS & SPEAKS ENGLISH, OR HAVE FRAUD OCCUR ON YOUR CHASE VISA. My husband and I decided to open a joint account with Chase. For several years we were quite happy with Chase & the ease of using their online banking. HOWEVER, approximately 2 months ago my husbands Chase Visa was compromised at a local restaurant. Chase closed the Visa & reversed the fraud charges. Since then, Chase informed us that they will no longer inform us when fraudulent charges appear on our accounts & credit cards. AND, for the past 2 weeks and endless phone calls where we are put on hold for over 30 minutes, we are unable to access our joint account via the internet. I have repeatedly called Chase to no avail! I am, constantly, put on hold for well over 30 minutes & each time I talk with a representative they barely speak English & they cannot comprehend or resolve the login issues. WE ARE SO FRUSTRATED THAT WE ARE GOING TO A DIFFERENT BANK.
I have cancer
I have cancer. I received money for disability for my cancer. I used it all to kay off a credit card through chase. Once I dumped 5500 dollars on the card , they closed the card and kept the money. This was all the money I had to live on. No card or money. They said they would give money back but I just received a letter that it's not going to happen now. So now I have no money to live on. I'm a business owner and I dumped millions of dollars through my account at chase. When I needed them the most they weren't there for me. Now I have to find money too live on while fighting cancer. This is no way to treat a member of 10 years. I'll be closing my account and going somewhere else. I'll never rebuild with them again. I suggest you to the same before your in need. Don't allow them to kick you when your down.
I have been with Chase 18 years and I…
I have been with Chase 18 years and I should have shut down my accounts 18 years ago. I was with Washington Mutual and I was transferred to Chase when they took over. The first incident back in 2008 was them freezing my account because a check I deposited did not have my name on it. They froze my entire account again a few years ago because someone wrote me a check and the person’s account was closed but there was no way for me to know. About 3 years ago, they reduced all my credit cards to what is owed on the cards because I moved my direct deposit to another institution. I was never ever late, the card payments are automatically debited from my account. For example, I had $30,000 credit on one of the card, and they dropped it to $6,000 that was owed. When I called to inquire, they told me that I would have to reapply.
Most recently, they have been harassing me because I chose to again have all my deposits transferred to another institution. I had about 10 people who Zelle me every week for the past five years and the Zelle stopped so they keep calling me and asked about every single transaction in my account. They told me that I am being investigated. Listen to me and listen good, read all these reviews carefully and make a wise decision because I have.
Chase bank
Terrible organization I’ve had them for the past 10 years and nothing but problems
