Excellent teddy bear company, the absolute best in the industry creating unique handmade teddy bears and innovative designs using the best materials. I have been collecting Charlie Bears since 2009!!! My continued loyalty to the company is a testament to their high standards of bear making and the uniqueness of the bears they create. Charlie Bears have risen the benchmark of teddy bear making and no other teddy bear company can come close to the high standards of bears that Charlie Bears produce. Customer service is always amazing, they give 150% every time, nothing is too much trouble, Charlie Bears value every single teddy bear collector whether they’re new to the Charlie Bears community or have been in the Charlie Bears community for years and years. Charlie Bears always go the extra mile, and they listen to their collectors and put the collectors at the heart of everything they do, they truly are a collector-centred company.

I have been collecting these bears since the end of 2021. But they had been on my radar for a while before this. And this year I have gone for the membership. I have also been to the bear house in launceston, while going away with my partner I was lucky enough that we were passing through. I loved it, lovely kind staff and being able to see the older bears was great. I have only bought bears from the bear house direct and I have never had a problem. Bears turn up on time, if not earlier then stated. In a lovely box, all snug. I know a lot of people don’t like Dpd but I have a lovely chap called dean who delivers my Dpd stuff. I just love these bears. They bring out the young kid Sophie. Happy customer here.

Charlie Bears have been in business for over 18 years now and continue to create highly designed top quality products which are very collectible.

Charlie Bears pride themselves on their customer service and the owners of the business are very closely involved in the day to day running of the operation, sales and design.

Any issues that they are made aware of are dealt with immediately and swiftly.

We did a Owl Handling Experience at Charlie Bears and it was absolutely amazing. All staff were brilliant. Bears are so beautiful and wonderfully arranged in their different sections 😊👏👍🦉

I have purchased multiple times from Charlie Bears Direct USA, from 2019 to present and never been disappointed. My items have always arrived on time and wonderfully packaged. Customer Service has been very helpful in assisting me when I have had need, including helping me find a rare item, putting me on standby when I have been late registering for a limited quantity item, and canceling and helping me resubmitted an order I horse up. Always helpful and gracious in the instances where I've needed assistance. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have bought several bears from here and have had issues with too many of them. Obvious flaws are excused because "they are handmade". They do not stand behind their product. The quality is subpar. No matter how bad the bear looks, they will not pay for return shipping and getting a refund takes WEEKS! I refuse to buy any more bears from there. The only thing I will purchase is the membership for the catalogs (because they can't really mess those up).

Charlie bears direct USA beware beware beware. Think twice. Beware beware. My experiences with Charlie Bears direct USA have been absolutely horrible. So thoroughly upset.

Firstly, my wife collects Charlie bears for which we access retailers given the care and value they show customers and the bears as collectibles.
Recently we gave Charlie bears direct a go, placing two separate orders: we won’t be again for two reasons:
1. The boxes the bears are shipped in are too small: the bears looking as though someone has used their feet to stamp them into fit. No protection or inner packaging leaving some tags creased and if it rained for example they would easily be vulnerable to more damage. This indicates that unlike independent retailers, Charlie bears direct do not have an understanding of what a collectible is or value for their products or customers: especially given that these are also expensive items.
2. They utilise the awful DPD for delivery who lie when claiming they have attempted delivery and as with our most recent delivery, left it at a drop off point over 15 miles away when there is one under 2 miles away meaning in addition to postal charges, this has been more than doubled with a 30 mile round trip worth of fuel which when called: DPD basically say “Tough”, take it up with the sender.
If you’re a collector: find your nearest retailer and stick to these and NOT use Charlie bears direct.

Very poor service. Placed order for Christmas presents for local Ukrainian families and without any warning they cancelled the order and said a refund will be issued within 10 days. Feels like a scam company, put items in sale, take your money and the. Cancel without no details, no order number and removed the order from my account without notice. Feel scammed!

My wife has been a keen Charlie bears collector and she has around forty bears. We found that three of her bears had developed cloudy blue eyes so took the bears to the Charlie bear house in launceston Cornwall. We were told that they would be very sympathetic and would like to help in any way they could over the phone, however didn't help us at all in store. We were advised the bears should not be kept in direct sunlight and that the bears were old and implied that we should not expect them to last in good condition medium Term and we're not guaranteed for lifetime, pity they didn't tell us that when we shekels out the money. We were given a number for Alice's hospital and were quite happy to pass the problem onto her. After a quote from Alice's bear shop to replace the eyes, I phones Charlie bears that on the grounds of what had happened would they like to help with the cost towards replacing them, they haven't replied whatsoever. I can only assume therefore you shouldn't by Charlie bears from a shop that has displayed them in a window with direct sunlight and despite the cost of the bears do not expect some of your bears to last as long as we would have expected. In summary you aren't getting quality when buying Charlie bears and don't last like they should do waste of money.

I absolutely love my bears. They are well made and beautiful

If you are buying a membership hoping to get some of the best friends club bears - DON'T BOTHER!

Even when you get the email saying you have been chosen and you pay the amount in full for that particular bear, they just go and cancel your order! Excuses being made that they can't find the email they sent you.

Membership is not worth paying nor is the price that you are paying for the bears, could be better quality and as someone else has stated most likely are cutting costs and making people pay more!

Bought a bear and the bear was fine, however bought the membership and that is another story!. The membership turned up separately and when I got it lots of it was missing, all I got was two cards and membership card...no promotions, pin badge key discounts etc. I rang them up and they said they where sending another pack....that was weeks ago I have rang them 4 times since then, one time got through to customer services and they didn't answer and they just put the phone down. They said they where sending out the pack and I still haven't received the replacement. Either someone isn't doing their job or and not sending them out, or someone is stealing them in the post!!! Would recommend the bears, but not the membership, I have been badly let down. They have said they are now sending another replacement, (3rd time) and I asked her to make sure that it was posted and she said she would...we will see.

Since Charlie bears started we buying these wonderful bears.
However we have stopped buying because the quality is not as good as it was.
Cutting costs maybe?
Charlie bears need to return to how they used to be made and stop using cheaper materials.
