POOR QUALITY, LOUSY DELIVERY, BROKEN SMALL CHIPS
As several reviewers posted, the quality isn't what it used to be, and expecting a mail delivery to provide unbroken chips, forget it. You're mostly getting chips that would be at the bottom of the bag in a Frito-Lay bag! I'd suggest that if you're reading this BEFORE YOU order. DON'T!!!! The first time I ordered it never arrived, and I had to cancel it. The 2nd time, there was a promotion to get several items. Did I get them? NO!! Broken chips, poor quality (not like they once were 20 years ago), and shaky delivery service. STAY AWAY FROM CHARLES CHIPS!!

I haven't had Charles Chips since I was a teenager in the late 1970's so I was excited and surprised to see the company in business. The nostalgia of the days when the delivery guy used to come to our house with our monthly order was heartwarming but the reality of the new company was not. First of all they deliver via the USPS which has an overwhelming delay in delivery time. Why???? When I found the size of the box on my steps I knew immediately this was much smaller than the canister of my youth although the price was five to six times that amount. Yeah, I understand inflation, however the quality is not the same. So to sum up,,,astronomical price increase, smaller amount, not great quality. My last purchase from Charles Chips. I leave nostagia to my memories.

Awful. I have been waiting over a year for a tin of chocolate chip cookies. After a lot of complaining on my part they finally sent me an email saying they were having problems manufacturing the tins. Again I wait. Finally a tincomes in! Was so excited only to realize they sent oat meal raisin not what I ordered. Allergic to raisins. Been writing them again many times. They don’t care. Took the money and figured they were done. On a separate note, I want to add that back in the day when they had the big trucks and delivered I got them all the time. The tins for the cookies now only hold like 8 cookies opposed to larger tins back then where it was filled. I have the little tin now just asking them for the cookies!
Terrible customer service, ordered 1/1/26 and as of today 2/27 I have not received the chips
I placed a large order on 1/1/26. As of 2/6 I had still not received them so I filled out the online form and sent an email, no response. I emailed again 2/25, no response, no chips, and emailed again today 2/27.

Like everyone else leaving a review, I had a terrible experience with this company. I ordered a tin of barbecue chips on 6/8/25 and after months of unanswered emails, I received a tin that contained less than 1/3 full of chips that were mostly crumbs in January 7 months later. This company has no customer service and is absolutely pathetic and shouldn’t be in business!! I certainly learned my lesson to never patronize this company again!!

Their customer service is non existent. This is not the Charles Chips I used to know and love. I placed an order at the beginning big Dec 2025. Finally got part of my order at the very end of Dec 2025. One item was missing. The canister of potato sticks, my main reason for the order. There was a printed note stating that due to high demand the potato sticks ran out. It said they would be shipped to me once back in stock. It’s now 1/31/26. A month later and still none received. I have emailed them 5 times to 2 different times email addresses. Sales and customer service. No replies. I called their 855 customer service number twice and got voicemail. Left a voicemail each time. No call back. I have called that same number every day twice a day for the last 7 days. It picks up stating the mailbox is full. I have received no canister of potato sticks I paid for. I have received no response. I either want my product I paid fur or a refund immediately. This is ridiculous and disappointing.
Never received product
I placed an order on December 29, 2025 and received an email thanking me for the order and that I would receive a confirmation email when the order was shipped. It is now a month later (January 28, 2026) and I have not heard from them. I have sent 2 emails to customer service and 2 phone calls (mailbox is full). I can't contact anyone. This is so frustrating. If I can't get in contact with them in the next week, I am disputing my charge and cancelling my order.

Do Not Do It
Order placed December 12. Payment was taken, a label was created, but the item was never shipped and never accepted by the carrier. I made repeated attempts to contact customer service by email and phone with no response. With no shipment or communication, I had no choice but to file a dispute with my credit card company. Would not recommend.

I placed an order of potato chips on December 20, 2025, and I'm still waiting for a response from them for a tracking number. I have sent them about 5-6 emails, and not one response has been sent back. The phone number they have posted for customer service, nobody answers. I'm contacting my credit card company to get my refund.
What a shame this company and their products were great back in the day.
Unfulfilled Order After 7 Months
To Whom It May Concern,
I placed an order with Charlie Chips over seven months ago. During this entire time, I received little to no communication and was repeatedly refused email correspondence.
Now, after seven months, I finally receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number—yet the package has not been picked up from your business. This is unacceptable.
This order was intended as a gift for a family member, and at this point the purpose has been completely lost due to the excessive delay and lack of customer service. I have never experienced this level of poor communication and follow-through from a business.
Because of this situation, I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and will also be leaving a public review to document my experience.
I am requesting immediate resolution—either confirmation that the item has actually shipped and is in transit, or a full refund without further delay.

Took my money, but nothing was received
Ordered a tin of potato chips on Dec. 14. It is now Jan. 2, have not received. Sent an email to Customer Care--no reply. Called repeatedly, no one answered the Customer Service phone number. Glad I charged the purchase--was able to get money refunded via my credit card company. I'll never order from them again.

Worst delivery + customer service
I ordered and paid for one tin of chips on Nov 17. I just received shipping notification that I'll receive my order by Dec 27.
Sent messages along the time line to cancel and refund but got no response. The phone number they provide is full of messages.
Love the chips from my ol days but can not forgive the level of service they provide.
Finally received my shipment and contents were unacceptable broken and crumbs of chips. Read their refund rules which are ridiculous.

Terrible company
Both potato chip tin and chocolate chip cookie tin arrived badly dented. I emailed and left a voice message asking for a response and never heard back. Such a shame. I had hoped to create new customers in my children because I had such fond memories of growing up with home delivered Charles Chips. Now they will not have further business from me nor will they have new customers in my children.

I wish I would have seen this before I ordered but it’s like everyone else. I ordered 18 days ago and have heard nothing. I emailed customer service 7 days ago and have heard nothing. I just called and had to leave a message with somebody and was told they would call back. What a damn joke. I canceled the payment with my bank and will never order from those dumb asses again. If I could post a review with no stars I would but you have to give one.

I ordered a tin of no salt chips for my elderly mother on September 18, 2025. I paid $41.49 USD. Item never received. I called and the voicemail was full. I have emailed and no response. It is now November 18, 2025. This company is NOT legit. So sad. It's a scam. Do NOT place an order. I wish I had all of the reviews of not receiving orders prior.
