As a long time skipper with this company (8+ yrs) I'd like to respond to the destructive comments made by skipper Daniel. I think highly of Daniel as a skipper, but I feel his personal grudge against ChannelSailing management has clouded his judgement:

I have had nothing but positive experiences with ChannelSailing. Yes, equipment breaks at times, but smart skippers find smart solutions, and the ChannelSailing team invariably goes out of its way to insure either continuation of the trip or safe repatriation.

Also, all boats (and I sail all of them) are in solid sailing condition and fully compliant and equipped with all safety appliances and gear. No, not all boats are new, and hence wear and tear are unavoidable. But I thoroughly enjoy sailing these boats, and have full trust in their ocean sailing capacity.

As a skipper I also come equipped with my own GPS and communication systems. Redundancy is key at sea. I suggest you ask your skipper to deliver the same diligence to deliver safety to you and your crew.

I love sailing with ChannelSailing. Great boats, great team, and invariably happy customers with great sailing experiences.

I chartered "Chica" in early June (bareboat charter). Everything went smoothly, and the boat itself performed well. I'll gladly come back one day.

Professional skippers and very good organization of the event, boats are in excellent condition and lunch was also decent. Fun team buidling event.

We had a fantastic day with our management team. All perfectly organized, great skippers! The regatta is a wonderful team building event, highly recommended. Thank you for a perfect organization.

We rented Mazurka without skipper as we had enough sailors among our team. Boat is very well maintained and equipped. Communication with Nicolas - base manager - was smooth and efficient. Sailing area is nice and weather was perfect. We will definetely be back again!

We booked a yacht with skipper for just a day, for a family-first experience. All communication was excellent and friendly. We had flexibility with the day (picking the best day in the week) which was very nice. The skipper was perfect for our family, funny and calm. It's not cheap but all costs are clear up front and I thought it was worth it. Hopefully we'll be back soon :-)

It was really great week on one of channel sailing's yacht (Maro). Nicolas was very friendly and helpfull. There was no problems with check-in or check-out. I hope that we will meet again very soon.

Very friendly service. Save boats, well maintained, well equipped for long trips, with AIS . Ideal location in Cadzsand to explore the Schelde East and West, trip to Ramsgate, Belgian Coast.
Multilingual experienced skippers.
We certainly come back.

Top crew ..., Perfect to soSAILize !

After many years of ribs and motorvessels Channel Sailing convinced me to try a sailing boat, at least once. It was an amazing experience! Once is not enough! I’ll be back soon!

Well maintained yachts, competent skippers, once out of the small harbour you're immediately out in the sea. Well organised team events! Modern harbour with good food and beverage for the after drink/dinner.
