I've been paying monthly for boiler cover for years and have fortunately not had the need to use it.
Recently started to get emails every month saying payment could not be made so I looked into this company and it appears to offer no service and is just a shop front to collect money monthly
They are uncontactable and the odd link to a web page may work to make you think its a genuine trading company but I believe if you look into the company history you will find that it doesn't actually exist.
Many people have the same opinion..
In my personal opinion I would strongly suggest you avoid this company and look elsewhere
Never there when you need
For all the time I have had insurance. No engineer has ever come out. So the insurance is useless. They promise an annual certificate. Some
I suggest you do not use CoverBee or if you doAvoid Coverbee insurance ,check the exclusions to your policy very carefully
We have been with CoverBee for about 4 years, I am not sure why we stayed and we will now change our insurance company. We have the Diamond insurance meant to be the best but when you have an issue they do not respond as you would expect and in our experience our issues were not covered and we had to pay up front fees.
1) blocked drain - they declined coming out a number of times unless we paid a call out fee ( as they said the problem must be due to roots , how would they know ? they hadn't been to have a look- but it wasn't) We had to pay money for them to come and assess the problem and had to fight to get it back.
2) boiler not firing up as expected and the house was cold. As this wasn't a breakdown I was not given priority unless I paid £95 up front as they assumed that this is because there is sludge in the system, even though I explained that we had this cleared about 4/5 years ago. This issue is still ongoing.
Over Dec 2024 & early Jan 2025 I could not get anyone to answer the phone at CoverBee, despite trying a number of times. I emailed, no one replied . Eventually I got through, there was a very helpful and sympathetic lady on the phone but her hands are tied by the rules.
I suggest you do not use CoverBee or if you do check the exclusions to your policy very carefully

Cowboys yeeha!! save your money folks
Total scam customer service from SUSAN is the worst I have ever experienced she’s so rude. I was paying £40 a month for boiler cover and now they can’t help me under there new T&C’s
When I spoke to Susan she’s said it’s not her problem I’m not covered. Oh well I won’t be using these cowboys again see ya.
Does not pay contractors
Does not pay contractors. Avoid like a plague also do not sign up to a thief. Just here to make quick rip. Thief in a suit
Worse company I have ever used the zone…
Worse company I have ever used the zone valve went on my central heating I had to wait 2 weeks for a plumber to arrive who told me he could only fit a cheap alternative zone valve as they had a maximum £100 budget , after 7 months this valve has gone again I used a private plumber who showed me the live wires were simply twisted together and not even taped up and it cost me £120 , the only payment this firm would accept is a continuous card payment scheme which I ended up in cancelling because they just kept taking money
Took out a landlord policy with…
Took out a landlord policy with coverbee in december 2022 (paid monthly for 14 months for a policy with no callout charges). My tenant had a problem in May 2023 which according to my tenant was resolved. Now it's Feb 2024 and my tenant's radiators have stopped working. Coverbee did an over the phone diagnosis and said its the water pump which was a fault they identified in May 2023. They are saying its an existing fault and therefore will not repair it but at the same time happy to take money from me each month? I will be taking them to court over this, stick to a trustworthy company!

Do NOT do business with this company it is a SCAM.
Certi UK was Dissolved by Compulsory Strike Off in July 2019.
The other trading names (HEC Facilities Ltd & Electris Ltd) have all also all been Dissolved.
The latest name appears to be Coverbee, with the company address, The Unicorn, Main Street, Carlton, Wakefield. WF3 3RW - this is a PUB. Any other unhappy Subcontractors fancy a pint in The Unicorn?
The company Directors were Christopher Leonard Thomas LONG or Nicola Jayne LONG.
I wouldn't even give them one star
I wouldn't even give them one star. They are absolutely appalling. The worst company I have ever dealt with. Even after cancelling the contract for 6 properties they continued to try and take the funds from my account. Save yourself a lot of heartache, don't even think about signing up with them.
Extremely dissatisfied
Extremely dissatisfied, they don't answer to the calls or respond, have tried several ways of contacts no response.
Total scam
Wish I had read all the reviews on this site before taking out policy with this company . Never serviced boiler despite me requesting for several months just get fobbed off. Then today when I had a emergency no answer on any of the phones 4 hours later I get told I am not covered with landlord insurance as I have holiday home . No where does it say this in terms and conditions. Basically wasted my money . Don't touch this company they are a complete scam
Certi,Don't Do it
This company sends out information on how they have hundreds more engineers than ever before to help entice you in. From my experience when ever you ring it's always the same person "sue" who always manages to put you off having your yearly service, I was asking and asking for so long that it went out of contract. Previously to this I had already requested not to auto renew in case anything went wrong. And when finally I did get a call from an engineer to make an appointment I said what's best for him to make life easy for him, we did this and twice he let me down to which he then referred me back to "sue" who said he couldn't call because of emergency's , what happened to all the extra hundreds of new engineers I asked ! all busy was reply she just said leave it with me another fob off. In the end I got email to say as it's now out of contract here's £60 refund. Wasnt prepared to fight on so accepted. Now have to find service average price £85 even though prices seem good stay clear. other reviews have more info on how they trade dodgy.
Please do not do business with this…
Please do not do business with this company. They will do anything to avoid fulfilling your claim. We have had dreadful experiences with Certi and are currently trying to stop them taking money for services that they do not offer. We cannot find any trading entity behind their website as the two companies listed as Certi at companies house have both been dissolved. AVOID !!!
this company is trading fraudulently
this company is trading fraudulently, makeup excuses on why they cant fix the boilers i had under cover, worst company i have ever dealt with, do not waste your time and money with this one man band
I took out a policy 11 months ago
I took out a policy 11 months ago , was told to wait 3 months into it to get my boiler serviced ,,fair enough, I then phoned them and was told an engineer would be in touch ,, 6 months later I’m still waiting , just phoned them to cancel my policy,,buy this policy at your peril !!!
CERTI more like certainly NOT
Took my policy out in July explaining to them that I needed a gas certificate in October they said that wasn't a problem. After making a dozen phone calls or more nearer the time to see when they were coming they would not return my call and 4 days before my current certificate expired they emailed me telling me they had no engineer and I would have to sort it out myself, it is an absolute disgrace.
