Required Refrigerated Meds Not Received Timely - Canceled
In February, 2026, Ordered a medication that needs refrigeration. Shipment is in a box with an ice pack. Shipment apparently lost by FedEx. So as to remain on doctor's prescribed schedule for the meds to work properly, CenterWell Specialty had been advised after approaching a week late, and knowing that the ice pack would have melted which may have tainted the required cold medication, to cancel the order and refund. They agreed to cancel the order, but refused a refund! $349 charged to my credit card. Dispute filed with Credit Card company, and CenterWell never disputed the chargeback in allotted time. Case closed, you'd think (as I began to go to Costco for my meds since)... nope, Yesterday I received a bill for $349, and a call today to their non-well English speaking phone person said she'd email Collections Department and get back with me, in lieu of an anticipated wait time of almost 2 hours. Never heard back.... Ugly situation it has become.
They call about a prescription and most…
They call about a prescription and most of the time automatic symptoms can’t understand. Then when you finally get through all the verification they put you on hold forever. I didn’t call them they called me
Centerwell app has not worked in weeks
Centerwell app has not worked in weeks. Looks like no one is in a hurry to get it fixed. Good luck after hours or weekend contacts. Online chat is no help either. Cant log in to shop online or order medicines.
Centerwell does not know what they are doing
Centerwell sent me text stating my refill was ready to be shipped. It says I need to sign in to site and check payment info. I sign in, site won't allow update. It indicates I need to call Centerwell. I call overseas call center and am told they have not received the prescription even though I received two text messages from Centerwell instructing me about next steps. Delay on my end, delays shipment. Absolutely asinine and totally frustrating! Hate that NovoCare is using them!!!!
They tell you what ever they perceive will pacify
They tell you what ever they perceive will satisfy your problem. Thirteen calls to fill a prescription that has been ordered from my Dr…3 times.
Each call to CenterWell is a challenge that always has to be explained from the beginning. Overseas agents that are reading scripts and patronize you to the calls end.
I use the NovoCare Pharmacy who deploys CenterWell.
If I were not on the special cash discount program I would go elsewhere and I’ll suggest that if you have any other choices to which pharmacy that you can use go there. Steer clear of any CenterWell distributed RX’s.
I’m still waiting, leaving for an extended out of the country trip in a week. What a nightmare.
Zero star if I could
My doctor called in two prescriptions, one an important antibiotic that should be started immediately. Went online, had to set up an account but had been receiving a prescription from them for two years. Every time I went online, same thing, working on prescriptions, could not say when they would be mailed. Spoke to very rude pharmacist, wanted to know why doctor prescribed these, she is smarter than the doctor? After 5-6 days message said prescriptions were mailed, said they had to contact shipper for when I would receive order. Same message every time I called. Going into 7th day now, still not received. Doctor called in antibiotic prescription to local pharmacy that I should have stayed with but since CenterWell is part of Humana, my insurance company, and since my doctor is with Centerwell Senior Primary Care, which I love, I thought I should use the pharmacy, Big mistake, stay away!
Service person answered all my…
Service person answered all my questions and promptly refilled my prescription
So why all the bad reviews?
On top of having a woman call and yell…
On top of having a woman call and yell at me, the prescriptions never arrive on time, u have to call them all the time for problems, they do not catch interactions. I spoke with a supervisor about the woman sc4eaming in my ear. And nothing was done. I told them to delete my file I dont want to work with th em but get phone calls almost daily. I had it on auto and had to jump through hoops to get a refill on my blood pressure medication. They are a nightmare!!! Worst customer service! Worst service lol
Need my antibiotics!
Prescription went to them 9 days ago for antibiotics for a UTI. Not filled yet. Excuse is it is new rx for me and has to be screened. WTF does that mean? Are the drugs coming from Asia just like the customer service? Lame excuses and some kind of scam. Humana...buy American! My doctor ordered it...ship it already!
Absolutely HORRIBLE!
Absolutely HORRIBLE!! I’ve called every day for 3 weeks to get my medication refilled. I get the same auto-pilot rehearsed speech every time without resolution. The WORST customer serve EVER! And I’ve worked in customer service for many years! If I could give them negative 5 stars, I would! Now, I have to have at least a week gap with no medication due to the run around.
Important to know before using
I have a few RX's that I do actually get from CW Pharmacy, and the service has been really good. But my complaint that I have is the amount of Daily automated phone calls I get from them. While I do appreciate the communication, and all that...but how can we limit these refill calls to maybe once a week? That would even be better....these daily calls are so annoying, & Im not a phone guy anyway...I dont like to talk on the phone at all since I retired. It seems there should be a way to where these calls can be done and cover the necessary refills with maybe 1 call a week even, that would be grand. Thanks for hearing my frustrations.
Dreadful
A pathetic company. Customer "service" begins in Afghanistan (?) where they pay people what, $0.15 cents per week, and goes downhill from there.
Think twice before using centerwell…
Think twice before using centerwell pharmacy. They keep sending me text about my wife's prescription instead of her. I have tried and tried to get them to change from my number to her number. No body can seam to help. I wouldn't use centerwell if they were the only one left. There service sucks.
Only because I can’t give a zero
Only because I can’t give a zero. Anyone else spoken with their customer service? The absolute worst experience, hung up on twice, overseas bs.
Horrible experience!!!
I changed my insurance and they made me use CenterWell pharmacy. What a horrible situation. I call them often, because their app is sketchy and I have had to follow up on every medication that I've gotten from them. Their call center is obviously overseas. The CSR are nice but untrained. They have switched amounts of medication on me. It's been a horrible experience. Avoid CenterWell pharmacy!!!
Let down again!
Centerwell has had problems getting my medication to me on time or correctly before but this is over the top. My Doctor sent a prescription 5 days ago I’ve been trying to find out what is the holdup getting it filled. “ They couldn’t fit the directions on the label.” So they asked me to call and get a condensed version. It was sent back in immediately and will take time to fill because it’s a new prescription. It was new 5 days ago.
WORST EVER!
WORST EVER!! Stay away. This is my first month on Humana Medicare Advantage and as all the other reviewers are saying, their system is a complete failure. You call in and get put on hold, they always have an excuse as to why the Rx isn't processed. My PCP sent the RX 10 days ago and its still under review, it's just a very inexpensive bp rx. Anyway, I'm so disappointed having made the decision to go with Humana. Just wonder if anyone at Humana is looking at these horrible reviews, good luck everyone.
Wish I had not chose CenterWell Humana D plan
Based on the reviews I read, my issues are a repeat. Takes days and sometimes weeks to get prescriptions filled. They continue to show status in process but unable to explain the hold. Different people, different answers every time regarding approvals and cost. Transfers to multiple people for answers via a cold transfer. Then you must explain your issue all over again to new person. So unprofessional for a call center. And yes language/accents also a challenge in communicating. I am so frustrated that I made the choice to switch to Humana for part D without reading the reviews for CenterWell. My most recent issue is they sent a Kwik Pen prescription without pin needles. Dosage due this weekend but pharmacy closed and local pharmacy closed when I realized the med was shipped without pin needles.
Circular system that ultimately is…
Circular system that ultimately is broken. Cheapest bidder situation. Kaiser has agreements with this company. Don't waste your time. Customer service is overseas, unaware of how their own website operates, the send broken links, nothing works. They refuse to send a copy of the terms of use but will spend 3 minutes reading them to you and don't understand them enough to explain them.
I never received my prescription, was unable to complete registration and had to go through another service to pay full price.
My doctor convinced me to send a script…
My doctor convinced me to send a script that is time sensitive to Centerwell. I completed the registration forms, paid for the script (self pay) and it was supposed to arrive May 1 and I only have meds that last through May 3.
The meds don't arrive, so I call. The woman who is assisting is a box of rocks. She first can't find the script, then she said I didn't pay (when I did have have an e-receipt). I read the number off the receipt and she puts on hold to investigate.... They can't find a tracking number of the medication.
In the meantime, I start getting getting text messages while on hold saying they are trying to reach me about my meds. So I message back asking if she found the tracking number. When she said she wasn't calling about a tracking number, she said she had been trying to call me all week to talk about my meds.
I looked and she was hanging up and not leaving messages from a number flagged as SPAM. In the meantime, I am still on hold.
I wait for 90 minutes before the line disconnects. The mysterious texter is like "when do you have time to talk". I tell them to call me know and they start babbling about a new registration and wanting me to switch my Primary Care to some tele-doc in their network for self pay fee of XX per month. I am like no way, I just plan to work with my doctor I have a relationship with but question her about that tracking number and where my meds are. She hangs up. Starts texting again. Trying to get the script transferred to my local pharmacy on the weekend (and it's my birthday today - not what I want to be doing).
There are way too many roadblocks and scams like this that keep patients from the medication that will help. I went self pay specifically because my insurance PBM cancels all scripts my doctor writes (even blood pressure meds), Centerwell is no different, preventing access but real quick to take your info and your money.
I removed the debit card info, but now it is back on that account. I can't seem to eliminate that card# and I have to cancel it to protect against their scummy practices. I don't want them billing a few hundred dollars whenever they feel like it and lose my medication like they did this go around.
