Was given 15th 16th 17th August for my delivery. Still not turned up as I type this 17.35 on the 17th August. No email or text to say it is delayed. I have wasted 3 days waiting in... tracking number still says it will be delivered on these dates. This is the first time I've used this company and it will be my last.

I was pleasantly surprised at the speed of service. I ordered a heavy helmet and it arrived at my door in England 3 days later. I did worry I may have to pay import taxes but but that wasn't the case. Very happy with it.

Very slow shipping for todays standards.

It has taken them more than 7 business days just to pack my order and hand it over to their delievery partner.

They claim to have fast shipping, and estimated 3-5 bussiness days shipping (says on the products pages on their website).

I really don't understand why it's taking this long. I've had packages delievered to my doorstep, from even longer distances, within shorter time frames, than this. Shipping something from the Netherlands to Scandinavia really shouldn't takes this long IMO.

But I'm not gonna lie, they do have nice looking products. And I've had the opportunity to look at and feel some of their products, and they do look and feel like good quality indeed. But currently I doubt if I will shop here again, unfortunately.

Will add more positive feedback and up the stars rating, if my package by some miracle gets delievered before this Saturday (which is when I really need these products).

If you, whoever reading this review. Still concider shopping here. Be prepared to wait.

Prior to Brexit, I had made a few orders with Celticwebmerchant without issue.
Recently, we ordered a tent to our UK location. After a lengthy delay, we received the wrong item - they had sent a tarpaulin instead. Once provided with photographs, they accepted that they had sent the wrong item.
At this point, they demanded return of the wrong item before they would issue a refund, which was contrary to normal commercial practice and also the laws of their own country. We eventually had to escalate the matter with PayPal, at which point Celticwebmerchant grudgingly agreed to issue the refund. Their parting shot that they didn't want our business anymore.
They have, however, refunded us as promised.

Horn definitely closer to the very black «Epic Armoury» sold on this website than this cunningly called «Dimmu Borgir» with beautiful gilded color scheme... and more expansive!!
I understand by experience with horns that they CANT be exactly the same as the promo photos, but in this case the horn is way too faaaaaar from the item sold here.
This is even more a deception when a spokeperson from this company confirmed by email «yes, basically the color scheme is roughly the same»!
Annoying detail: Horn made in India (sticker...), not mentioned on the item page, I wonder why... This is probably why this horn looks like a china molded resin pint more than a true natural horn.
I DONT recommand horns from «Celtic Websomething», sounding like a rip off surfing on a Viking trend wave.
It makes a risible & ugly addition to my collection.

Edit: 2 Appointments taken with GLS for pick up to get the horn back to Celtic Webmerchant and get refound... but none went to pick it up twice... Definitely not serious seller.

We put in our order late, hoping it would barely make it for an event we were going to, unfortunately it didn’t. We decided to return the order upon arrival.

During the whole process we were in communication with customer service. Always such quick and helpful response!
We got our money back and the transaction was quick and easy.

Really looooooong delivery. Money was taken long time ago (June 2021) but still awaiting delivery.

We were pleasantly surprised with the viking style clothes we bought from the shop. They are a nice quality and look really good on us, and the price was very fair.
Everything arrived within a week - delivered to Denmark.

One of the best LARP store, I know.

I've used these guys a few times now so thought I'd leave a review. Never been disappointed with anything I've bought from them. Quality is always a high standard. The last order I placed there was an email with something I didn't understand. After contacting them, they replied as soon as they were back in the office. I explained the items were presents and I received the items from the Netherlands to UK in a week. So service is great too. This company does what they say. Highly recommended.
