Love the idea of the trial of unique wines with the information. All in all a very positive experience which I would recommend.

Loved the concept so decided to give it a go - thoroughly impressed with the quality of the wine and the packaging. I love that you can try different wines in smaller bottles to reduce waste then order the large bottles of the ones you like. I called customer service to check my address on one of my orders and they were really helpful!

Really postive experience with Cellar Rats, curently on my third order with them and each one continues to be better than the last. They have a really vast selection and I have tired wines that usually I wouldn't have even considered before. Easy to sign up and customer service when I wanted to amend an order was quick to respond. Highly recommended!

I was recommended celler rats by a friend, and have had an excellent experience with them. In the 6 months of using them, i think only one bottle was broken. (I'm sure that's got something to do with royal mail). I'm new to wine so it's a great way of finding out what you like, and from what region. Would recommend in a heart beat.

Wine was exceptional, I don't drink much so bottle size was perfect.

Even though there was a issue on my first box (a few of the bottles got smashed) They were super quick to refund them.
Since then haven't had any issue with any broken bottles and its perfect for me who doesn't always get through a full bottle.

Just tried Cellar Rats and wow! Love the idea of wine in small, glass-sized bottles. Perfect for trying different wines without committing to a full bottle. Me and the Mrs end up throwing so much wine away, so this is much more economical, especially given the cost of living situation. Quality is top-notch, much much nicer than supermarket rubbish and they have a great selection!

Customer service was great. They helped me pick wines that I actually liked and paused my order when In was on holiday. Delivery was quick and everything arrived fine.

Great to have a selection of wines on a subscription, nice to try some different options to my usual. Experienced a broken bottle once but the team were quick to response and replace. Great wines, hassle free.

What a good idea these guys have come up with.
Experiencing quality wine is a wonderful thing but certainly not easy to get a start in. Budget constraints and lack of knowledge in the subject are serious 'barrierrs to entry', the cellar rats help with both, and quite literally, bring it to your door!

My experience with Clear Rats has been entirely positive, and I've been a subscriber for four months. Overall, the wine selection has been fantastic. There have only been a few bottles I haven't enjoyed, but that's exactly what this model is for: sampling a variety of wines and easily excluding the ones I don't like. I love how simple it is to order full bottles on their website for the ones I do enjoy and want to share with friends.

I usually have a glass or two when I open a bottle, meaning this service has saved me a lot of money by preventing me from pouring out unfinished wine.

I've only had to contact their customer service team once, and I spoke with Chris, whose service was first-class. He resolved my issue quickly and is a credit to their business.

I felt like this company had some potential and maybe found a gap in the market, but the wine ends up being super expensive, you cant cancel without calling, my cashback still hasn't been confirmed after over 2 months and the worst part for me was that I actually tried to buy the bottles I liked from their store but pretty much everything was sold out but they dont tell you this, they wait until its in your basket and you are checking out, just poor design.

First box was excellent. Then the April box didn't arrive. They sent two boxes in May. Reds from both boxes were fizzy. Three whites were like vinegar. Wife felt ill after having a bottle that apparently tasted ok (I didn't try it). I then had a bottle which again tasted ok but felt sick afterwards and hence this review (I don't normally post bad reviews but something's not right). No response to my previous web form completion to request a replacement box so I cancelled. Such a shame - a great idea poorly executed.

In response to this review, I was kindly contacted by the owner by email. He apologised and explained why the wine arrived in poor condition. He provided a full refund. This excellent customer service bumped my rating from a one star to a four star review.

Wine is ok but super expensive and truthfully you can get nicer stuff from Aldi. My real bugbear is the packaging. What is the point of all the wax? I wear my nails short and have really hurt under them trying to get through the wax, never mind the blooming mess. Will be phoning to cancel today although why you can't do it online is another mystery.

Avoid! Package turned up with 2 out of 6 bottles unsealed and leaking. I messaged Cellar Rats and received no response. So spent over 20 minutes on hold to cancel my subscription (you can't do it online) and was met with someone who couldn't care less!
