I took a beginner crochet class with Simone and learned so much! She was very patient and encouraging, and I've left the class with a lot of curiosity and confidence to keep going on my crochet journey.

Simone is an excellent teacher and I am now really enjoying crocheting but more than that she is so much fun that we all had a great time while we learned. I can’t recommend the class enough even for absolute beginners.

Started beginners Crochet with Simone. She was amazing. Taught 5 of us in our group the basics of crochet and gave us the confidence to try new things. She had the patience of a saint, was incredibly supportive and kind. The group were all really sad when the course finished. Cannot recommend highly enough if you want to have a laugh in great company while learning a new craft taught by a really lovely lady💞

I had been thinking of learning crochet for some time.
I found this four week class with Simone at The Wool Haven at Langside Place.
It was an experience of learning and at the end of each week it became a bit clearer.
Don’t be disheartened if Simone rips out your efforts, in my case several times as it does make things better and then it suddenly clicks and you get the stitch into your head.
Simone is very patient and caring.

Don’t hesitate start to learn. You won’t regret it.

Simone is my go to when I need help with my projects. She's so friendly and helpful and is a wizz with a hook. I've learned a lot from her. Plus she has a great sense of humour and doesn't that help with everything?

I did Simone’s 4-week crochet class at the Wool Haven and I’d highly recommend it! Simone is a great teacher and a lovely person, I’ve learned a lot and am impressed with the skills I’ve learned and what I have made.

I was part of Simone's 4 week beginner crochet class in December at Wool Haven. Previously I had been dabbling in crochet via books and online videos but found it stressful & uncertain. All this has been swept aside with some very clear, patient and friendly instruction from Simone. The classes were great fun, I learned lots and gained in confidence. I'm looking forward to going back for a short course in March and wouldn't hesitate to book a 1-2-1 with Simone for a bigger more complex crochet project. I would highly recommend this course for anyone starting out in crochet.

Great 4 week beginner’s crochet class. Only 5 of us so lots of individual attention & we could all progress at our own speed with tons of support. If Simone runs a next level class I’d sign up like a shot!

Just finished 4 week beginners crochet classes with Simone at the wool Haven - absolutely loved it !! Small class size so got loads of individual attention.

Fast friendly service, adding to the order was no problem at all. The items arrived in perfect condition.

I absolutely loved the four week beginners crochet course. Very relaxed, very friendly and I guess most importantly lots of crocheting. I now feel confident enough to try the patterns given at the class and was reassured that help is on hand if I get stuck. Would highly recommend for anyone starting out in the colourful world of crochet.

I cannot thank Simone enough for her beautiful work and craftsmanship. She repaired a damaged white cotton crochet bedspread with such skill, the repair is almost invisible. The result is wonderful. That, coupled with the Simone's thoughtful consideration and regular updates throughout the process, made this a very happy experience.

Really beautifully made gloves, arrived really fast and they are toasty warm (not so necessary right now but I will appreciate it in the winter!).
