They Constantly Block Legit Transactions

In my opinion Commonwealth Credit Union (CCU) is run by amateurs. To me it seems as though they treat their customers like children who can't be trusted to spend their own money. Its that or their fraud detection software is seriously flawed. I used to use BECU (Boeing Credit Union) and they weren't in the business of constantly flagging and blocking my transactions.

Last holiday season I had a black friday deal I tried to redeem with my CCU credit card. It was flagged. I received a text to unblock the transaction. I verified multiple times that this transaction was legitimate and it was still denied. Customer service was closed so I had to use a family member's credit card. Then you got Zelle. Its a mess. CCU constantly flagging and blocking Zelle transactions for even petty transactions of less than $100.

Lastly their website for tracking your financial activities is not intuitive. I have trouble recognizing if a transaction was legit or even what it was.

Besides all that CCU hasn't done anything dishonest or shady with me. I don't have the impression that they're trying to fleece money out of me with fees and hidden charges so kudos to them in that aspect.
