As someone who lives in supply chain data, Catalist's approach makes sense. They're not just connecting buyers to inventory- they're building an intelligence layer on top.

Unethical

I had a costly and stressful experience with The Catalist Group FBA company. My first order, for about $1700, resulted in a ghost shipment requiring a forced refund. Part of the order never received an initial scan while the other part of the “order” went on to Amazon - one empty box. Because the shipment labels were created through my Amazon seller account, Amazon activated the listing and sales were made for what would be an empty box. This impacted my account health. The second order, which I made before the problems with the first became apparent, was canceled by Catalist, but the refund was issued as store credit. Access to my account was recently blocked, preventing access to those funds and the invoice of the products that I paid about $1300 for. During all of this, the founder of Catalist emailed me on May 13th asking how my business was going - could he really be unaware of all of the issues with his own company? He ended his May 13th email with “Let me know if you have any questions / if I can assist with anything. Best, D.” I explained my situation, but he didn’t answer even though he offered his assistance. This situation has wasted my time, hurt my business and caused unnecessary stress. Completely unethical group of individuals who have no compunction defrauding a client who put trust in them. I am still struggling to get money back for the second invoice.

If I can give them a 0 star I would

If I can give them a 0 star I would, because they don't deserve nothing. The people that work in this company are all fake. They say they are going to help with the situation and they don't. This company has STOLEN 3,000 dollars in merchandise stating they have sent it to Amazon which is never true. When you call and ask what's taking so long and why the items are never delivered, there they start lying saying it's an issue with UPS not scanning the products. I have called multiple times and spoken to this so call Marco which never did anything and don't resolve anything. Our products never made it to the Amazon and we are still waiting for our refund.

Stay away from them.

Started out pretty strong with them. Then they got really unorganized. They lose product claiming it shipped but the shipper says it was not received. Have tried to resolve the issue multiple times with no luck. Stay away.

I think they are scammer

I think they are scammer because they use a virtual address, but why you have to use a virtual address if you have a warehouse????

Scammers!

They know what they’re doing, the Nice User Interface, they know the entire process of fba warehouse systems. don’t let that fool you. They take your money and stall as long as they can. They save your card informations, even applepay tokens. They made unauthorized charges 2k on top of 2k. They use a virtual address hence a fake one, anyone can obtain it. I saw the warehouse was some mechanic shop. All fake. I realize when they start putting random dimensions that made no sense to what I bought. Stuff that were prepped and dispatched, The trackings never updated was stuck on label created for weeks. It’s all a scam!!! Contact (fanbasis) that’s another red flag, fanbasis is for content creators not warehouses, call your banks, contact merchant (catalyst) build a case as much proof as possible and submit to your bank. Also all the reviews below are fake, you can tell it’s the most cliche reviews you ever seen.

Stay away

Stay away — Significant inventory and refund issues
I have been dealing with Catalist Group since July 2025 and it has been a nightmare. They failed to deliver over $3,000 worth of inventory to Amazon. After months of "warehouse investigations" and excuses regarding UPS and Amazon, they finally admitted the items were never received. Despite this, they are refusing to issue a monetary refund and are attempting to force a "store credit" for an order they failed to fulfill seven months ago. My capital has been tied up for over half a year with no resolution. Extreme lack of accountability from the sales leadership. Avoid if you value your cash flow.

Catalist Group is committing wire fraud…

Catalist Group is committing wire fraud by not issuing a refund for wire transfer made with no goods purchased.

I am filing this complaint for wire fraud and non-delivery of goods. On 6/17/25, I wired $3,116.80 to a New York–based business, Catalist Group, dba Catalist Collective, for the purchase of goods to be sold on Amazon. The wire was completed successfully and confirmed by my bank. Wire payment of $3,417.00 was sent on June 17th, 2025. Wire payment of $1,507.50 was sent on June 24th, 2025. Amazon inventory purchased at a cost of $1,807.70. My expected refund is $3,116.80. This has been confirmed numerous times on Catalist’s side.
Despite repeated follow-ups, no goods were ever delivered and a recognized refund has not been made. The business is now refusing to issue a refund and has ceased good- faith communication. This transaction was induced under false pretenses, and the continued refusal to refund constitutes wire fraud by deception.
I have documentation including wire confirmations, invoices, emails, and proof of non- delivery.
Reports are currently being made to all relevant entities and this will be pursued to the full extent of the law including the BBB.

Avoid working with Catalist Group at all costs! Highly dishonest.

Zero stars if I could

Zero stars if I could. Catalist Group is a complete scam that knowingly sells fake, counterfeit products while posing as only sourcing their products directly from the brands.
I bought what was supposed to be a legitimate Silpat baking mat that they were an authorized supplier for. I was the accused by Amazon and the ‘rights owner’ on the Amazon listing of selling counterfeit products. I submitted the products to the manufacturer for validation– every single one came back as COUNTERFEIT.
Throughout this process my Amazon seller account was deactivated costing my thousands in sales every week.
When I contacted Catalist Group directly for their assistance in providing documents showing where they sourced the products they sent the same scripted nonsense: “All our products are 100% authentic.” After I told them Amazon had already ruled the items counterfeit and removed them, they sent me what appeared to be an invoice from another supplier that looked like a third grader built it in Adobe. The invoice was completely redacted – when I asked that they at least show the order number and only redact the pricing they magically “couldn’t find the original.”
Do yourself a favor and never buy anything from Catalist Group, no matter what you see them selling. Total frauds.

We own and operate a home & kitchen…

We own and operate a home & kitchen store in the Maine. Catalist has opened up our ability to source name brands we otherwise wouldn't be able to as a small shop, at the best dealer price as if we were a 50+ location B&M. Thank you guys, very grateful.
