Good communication, interesting market place

I am a seller from Malta, and the Catawiki system does not even have my postal system option in their system- all the worlds services there- yet Malta- nope. So naturally buyers get annoyed and frustrated without any shipping updates and end up opening claims. Now Catawiki suspended my account and naturally all
Outgoing auctions and communications with buyers i cannot reach, which obviously will lead to a negative reviews. The customer care is another level joke: with ai generated, template ready responses… im sure i lost my money, but im happy all this happened with cheaper items… dodge the bullet- do not sell on Catawiki

Good quality products, reliable delivery

Catawiki has now confirmed that the funds from my completed transaction have neither been paid to me nor refunded to the buyer.

According to their latest response, the funds are frozen in a so-called "escrow account" while they conduct an unspecified investigation.

However, they still refuse to answer the most critical questions:

• Exactly which rule did I violate?

• What evidence supports this allegation?

• How long will this investigation take?

• Under what conditions will the funds be released?

• Why are funds from a successfully completed transaction being withheld indefinitely?

Order #46689549 was successfully completed.

The buyer received the item and expressed satisfaction; there have been no disputes, complaints, chargebacks, or refund requests.

I have fulfilled all my obligations as a seller.

Despite this, my account remains permanently restricted, and my earnings are frozen.

Catawiki repeatedly claims to have conducted a review yet refuses to provide any details.

A company cannot simply withhold legitimately earned funds citing a "violation of terms" while refusing to explain the alleged violation or provide a timeline for resolving the issue.

Their latest response confirms only one thing:

My money is still being withheld by Catawiki, and they are neither able nor willing to explain when the funds will be released.

Until I receive a clear explanation and a resolution, I will continue to document this matter publicly and keep consumer protection organizations and relevant regulatory bodies informed of the latest developments.

Sellers should carefully consider whether they wish to use a platform that can indefinitely freeze funds from completed transactions without providing any specific reason.
