Catalina Spas Ltd - UK Reviews 

Walnut wood cabinet surrounding the swim spa is not fit for purpose . Well maintained twice a year ,within the guarantee with excellent protective oils and preserver ,Catalina spa company did not want to know .Just read the other 1 star review having the same cabinet problem . Have been speaking to them this morning to want to purchase a new casing in any fabric wood/ plastic anything and I am not hopeful that they can help ---interested in sales only??? ,will write another review if I get a replacement casing as the one purchased they provided it appears the customer is to blame ,so we all cannot maintain the faulty? wood casing provided in the UK ? .
IN REPLY TO CATALINA SPAS Cuprinol ultimate garden furniture oil spray clear color for hardwood garden wood used and Cuprinol long lasting stained with weather and water protection this process was done every 6 months photos sent .CATALINA SPAS ALSO DID NOT INFORM THEIR CUSTOMER THAT IN 2016 THE 10 YEAR WARRANTY WITH THE SWIM SPA PURCHASE WAS SAFE WITH THEM HONORING IT , when I tried to make a claim ---I had not used Superdeck Duckback oil so could not make a claim within the time guarantee,and was told that the company had been bought out and the factory had moved from one side of the USA to the other side a brand new company with the same name now trading . AFTER THE ORIGINAL CATALINA SPA COMPANY USA SOLD OUT DUE TO RETIREMENT AND NEW COMPANY LPI NOT HONORING THE WARRANTY PROVIDED A FEW YEARS EARLIER . LPI . Now new owner of Catalina spas since 2016 stated this said when they purchased Catalina spas they had to deal with several years of complaints so they stopped doing wood cabinets (they apparently were individually made by hand )and made changes for an improved product . UK sellers called Catalina spas ,they state are a small private company selling the product sold by makers of Catalina spas . Since leaving the review ,have had an email from Catalina spas UK and they want to do nothing more to help this customer (me)to get a replacement part so they will not be getting back to me with prices .

We have a swim spa/hot tub installed and serviced by Catalina Spas and right from the start they were brilliant!
Installation was a tricky one, but carried out professionally and on time - despite the snow!
It's easy to make annual service bookings, and when we have a problem they talk us through it if is something we can sort, otherwise they make a speedy visit. We can't recommend them highly enough - thank you all!

Over 4 or 5 year’s experience I have found them to be responsive with friendly customer service and knowledgeable technical advice when needed. Communications are good and I have been happy and confident in recommending the company to others.

We bought a spa from Catalina in 2011 and have been pleased. However when we needed a new cover in 2018 it took more than a year to come from America yes a year! Now i needed a new lift arm but despite being promised it was a temporary fix and the engineer would return due to unexpected rotten wood they want to charge me again having paid already. Shame id have used them for my next spa purchase but the aftercare is so poor.
