Had my first hygiene appointment with Paula and was extremely impressed. She was friendly, reassuring and gentle in her approach whilst giving a thorough and professional experience. I have only recently moved to this dentist and have been very happy with all aspects of the treatment received so far. Thank you.

Tooth abcess and facial swelling and lots of pain. Seen rapidly and professionally and kindly by Ethan within 24 hrs. Unfortunately progressed infection despite antibiotics. Fitted in as extra next day and saw Becky. Again kind, compassionate, thoughtful and good. Helped drain the abcess and things improved soon after.
Thoroughly recommend the treatment and the team. I have ongoing dental problems so it is important to me that the people that look after me are the best. And the whole team are at Castle View Dental Spa. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Let me state now... I don't trust dentists. But do read to the end.
Wow, what a service. I was an emergency patient. Having travelled 40 miles to the practice, I wasn't sure exactly how long I would take to get there, and find a parking space. Fortunately, I parked on the opposite side of the road. But, I was an hour early.
No matter, they saw me within minutes, explained to me exactly what they were going to do (pull a tooth). Also great advice on my next move.
The whole thing took less than 5 painless minutes.
And I felt great all the way through the experience.
This would be a dentist I would trust.

Having recently moved to the area, I needed to find a dentist as hadn’t been for some time. I tried another one locally but wasn’t happy, so moved to Castle View instead. As a somewhat nervous patient and a hater of needles, I was anxious about my treatment plan, but am now more than happy to recommend Christian as a warm, friendly, kind & considerate, highly professional dentist….and no pain. Also a total pro with the needle which was a big fear for me. An excellent practice with a relaxed, friendly feel.

Because of a combination of Covid restrictions and travelling I hadn’t visited a dentist for over three years and I knew dental work was required. I have a bit of a phobia about visits to the dentist but heard of the excellence of Castle View Dental Spa and, whilst I live some distance away, I decided to follow the enthusiastic recommendations.
I found Dr Lucas to be kind, considerate, patient, helpful and an excellent communicator. This ethos is reflected in the very professional team around him. He talked me through all the procedures which included an extraction, two crowns and a filling in addition to a clean and polish. He was able to conclude my treatment in the limited time schedule that I had available. Most importantly he was able to allay my fears and concerns and I have no hesitation in recommending his very professional services to anyone.

I visited Castle View Dental Spa with my teenage son today. He had to have 4 (adult) teeth removed in preparation for his brace fitting. Dr Christian Lucas and his team were extremely kind, re-assuring and supportive. Each of the extractions were neatly done and without complication. My son came away feeling very positive about his treatment. Thank you once again to the whole team!

Excellent friendly team. Best dental experience for me as a very nervous patient. 5 weeks of debilitating toothache not sorted by 3 visits to my usual dentist and Dr Lucas and team sorted it out in one visit.
I am a nervous dental patient at the best of times and Dr Lucas explained everything before and during the procedure.
He is by far the best dentist I have ever had.

I have found it difficult to source a dental team that I trust and feel comfortable with in the past so I was absolutely delighted to have found Castleview Dental Spa. The surgery has state-of-the-art equipment (as well as beautiful decor and scented candles - a treat for the senses!) and all the trappings you would expect of a modern surgery that is fit for purpose, but it is the personal touch (from both Emily - and Christian, the dental surgeon) that impresses. As soon as I walked through the doors, I was welcomed with warm conversation and the offer of hot drinks (herbal and fruit teas!). I felt at ease very quickly.

Christian talks at length about your specific requirements and takes a genuine interest in your health and well-being. All staff are warm and friendly and it is apparent that Castleview Dental Spa put the person first. I didn't feel like just a just another appointment in their schedule of customer treatments - I felt genuinely valued - something I find extremely important in this day and age.

At last I have found a surgery I trust and feel comfortable with.

Can't recommend enough!
