SCUM and FILTH

I advise everyone who are wanting to become a; Model and an Actor to stay clear from these pack of False Pretenders, they are a pack Scavenging; Jackals, Snakes and Sharks. Just think of Don King when you read up on their; lies and cons and empty promises and of course? They don't refund your money after the contract is up. Plus they are no different to the Sister Companies called; Michy Studios, Yumm Model Management who runs the same con tricks.

Remember no real company would ask you to pay money in order to find you work, it's fake, fraudulent and everyone who has had bad experiences with these lowlife Scum. Report them to; Citizens Advice Bureau or The Action Fraud Team or The Department of Work and Trade.

They have destroyed way to many Peoples hopes and Dreams. It's time to take Action.

Tip for consumers:
Don't trust Mitchy Studios and Yumm Models Management, or TMO.. Remember? Think of Don King.

Scammy as hell don't even think about applying or going for interview.

Read what everyone else is saying, if its too good to be true it is. I just had instincts so I came to check reviews out on here, went for an interview today in a rented out office and it seemed dodgy as hell, got called back saying I was successful even with no prior experience or portfolio, alarm bells started ringing.
They asked for upfront payment of like £200 or £250, and said there would be an additional fee after for helping build portfolio. Never give an upfront payment to a casting agency, look at Gov.UK for the laws.

I'm lucky i got freaked before giving away too much personal info but they do have the info unfortunately on my CV.
They seem really nice so easy to be fooled if you don't do adequate research, however always sign up to auditions for casting never from a job website, like indeed which I found it. They didn't even want me to audition, I bought spare clothes with me and everything prepared as hell but they just take your time and ask for your money.

They pressure you into responding with fear of time running out or acting like this is a special opportunity. I made a trustpilot account solely for this cause its so bad.
Soulcrushing and heartwrenching for those who dream of being an actor. Never feel pressured into hiring an agent. Industry standard of commission is 10-15% and she asked for 20%, lady said her name was Kerry and acted very flattering BUT SHE IS A LIAR. Red flags galore.

Scam!

Scam!

Kerry invited me for an interview with no experience on my CV. I travelled to London to their Regus Office. My appointment was at 15:00 but didn’t get seen to about 5:40. I was in reception for half an hour then moved upstairs for another hour. From filling in this form, I then go to sit in this dirty smelly kitchen with no signal and no view whatsoever. From there I went into the interview as she’s running behind however I didn’t see anyone leave. I have the interview and was showered my compliments. She said she’d call me the next day to see if I made the cut. I did, she then offered me these services to get professional headshots. I’ve found out recently you don’t need them for other agencies which are real. I asked to cancel and get a refund. Kerry seemed agitated and annoyed. Kerry said she’s never used this photographer before however she was the one to pass on the details to me. Strange? We then call the photographer, the receptionist answered and then goes onto say he’s busy with a shoot however he’s the receptionist? So what’s his role? Then email says they’ll sort this out in 10 working days. Why? Who knows? DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THEM. Buzz Talent tried the same thing.

Unprofessional and weak communicators

Like everyone else I was made wait at reception for 30 minutes to fill in a form. Finally I was brought in the back way to their office which made for a strange experience. I sat down with Kelly who complimented my appearance several times but seemed disappointed I had no real experience (even though they advertise as if that’s fine and allegedly read my cv). They took no photos and asked for no photos. Instead I listened to 15-20 minutes of motormouth rambling about spotlight that was hard to understand— just numbers, requirements and unclear phrases. There was no mention of what could be done to work together, it seemed to be about what I had to do to qualify for them and make them their 20%. The focus was being on spotlight. Why I needed them for this? Unclear. How they would help me? Never stated. Why they invited me for an interview? Mysterious. The main takeaway is I wouldn’t want to work with them as they lack social skills and professionalism. I didn’t sign up for anything so all I lost was time. But it was certainly a waste of time and energy.

Very dodgy and shady operation...avoid!!!

I found out about this company like many other reviewers via an Indeed advert. They sent me an email saying they were interested in me and to provide details about myself including recent headshot photo and dates when I'm available for interview. I emailed my details and heard nothing back so called them after a few days spoke to Nandel? who said they're really interested and would call me the next week to book an interview which they didn't so I called them again! Eventually got an email to say to come the next day at 11.30 Hanover Square. We arrived 40 minutes early so went for a coffee in the area. While waiting this Nandel called me to say are we going to make it on time I said we're already here and he said come to reception and he'll meet us. We got to the downstairs and spoke to the building reception who then called to say we'd arrived. We took a seat in the foyer and again like everyone else on here I noticed there was no mention of the company name on the plaque although there were lots of other companies listed there very strange which I pointed out to my girlfriend! We waited for at least 40 minutes until I had enough and went to reception to ask what's the hold up she said they knew we were there and rang them again. After 10 minutes she said we could go up in the lift to the 1st floor and someone would meet us there. After 5 minutes this Nandel? came through to meet us and took us to a side alcove opposite a kitchen area and asked me to fill out an NDA with all my personal details including height, weight, shoe and suit size etc!! Again we were kept waiting here at least another 30 minutes until he finally came back and took us through to another area and asked us to wait in a small kitchen. Another long wait of 30 minutes until a woman called Kerry came to us and took us to a room finally for the interview. Considering I was the one applying she seemed more interested in my girlfriend and kept saying how well she could do in the profession! After quite a while explaining things again regarding getting professional photos done and the infamous Spotlight she said if successful she would call me in 2 days to ask me to come back the following day to proceed further. I asked her what was unique about me on my cv as I'd had no prior acting experience but she skirted around it! She led us out of the office to another lift and like the other reviews on here once out of the lift we were at another exit away from the main one we entered. I presume it was done this way to avoid any annoyed people like us not showing our anger exiting this awful experience in front of any would be mugs entering for the same poor show! When we left I said to my girlfriend I wished I'd have gone with my gut and not attended as I thought it didn't feel right. Lo and behold I did not get a call from Kerry on the day though she or someone did send a generic text saying "Hello there,
This is the text regarding your application results for acting, modelling and extras. Please contact us back ASAP So,we can discuss further.
Kind regards
Kerry'. Needless to say I have not responded to this and am really angry we wasted 3+ hours of our time which we will never get back and the fact I had filled out the NDA form with personal details that they still have. If anyone takes the time to read this honest review and ignore the fake ones praising the company please do yourselves a favour, save your time, fare and AVOID at all costs!!!

Seems very suspicious.... (pretty sure it's a scam)

I just received a call from these people after applying through Indeed.

I hadn't gotten round to completing headshots or anything, and my CV has literally ZERO acting experience on it, however I was told my CV looks good and they wanted me to come and see them TOMORROW.

I live in the midlands, and it would have been a long way to go just for something that wasn't even real/a scam.

I trusted my got and had a look at these reviews which confirmed my suspicions.

Thanks to all who reviewed! Definitely helped.

Something isn't right

I have applied as others, to Indeed advert.
I have been invited for an interview. The building (full of offices near Oxford street) looked very nice. I told the receptionist, I've arrived. Someone then let the reception know, for me to come to first floor and wait by the lifts to be collected. Awkward!!!

Young man came, in his mid 20's and took my to a shared staff's kitchen. Very nice I must nice. Nowhere, not downstairs or upstairs did I see a plaque with their company's name. Middle aged Asian man came after and took me to an office. No one there, just me. Looked at my details and asked if I have experience (none). Then he asked why they should hire me?

Then he added, if I'm chosen, I'll need some headshots. Preferably SPOTLIGHT approved. No such thing btw.

He said they can arrange it, or I have to bring it.

He was talking extremely fast and everything felt rushed.

He was also excessively blinking. I mean as if he had some illness. It was distracting.
Then he was blinking as any other person.
He shook my hand and we said goodbye. I was led to a different lift this time, which led to exit at the back of the building.

Not by the reception.

It felt like a wasted time. Don't bother.

Scam!

Look, it all looks and seems legit. I saw the ad on indeed so I applied, it started to click when they were constantly calling me and wanting me for an interview with no headshot? It’s a major scam and possibly dangerous. Please please please do your research before going to any modelling agencies. I’m glad I saw other reviews before my interview. Thank you all who reviewed them.

Careful with this agency

Careful with this agency. They do not care about your schedule and only care what they can gain from you. Rude, unprofessional and egotistical- they will remove u from a booking (after freeing up your entire schedule) when you try to voice out your opinion on their mishaps. They will block your account for 6 months then book you just a week after when you are needed. Inconsistent. Not surprised they have 73% poor rating.

Don't go to casting talent online (danger)

I've just been down to London to see casting talent, it all went very well. But when I came home I thought about it and it seemed like it went to well considering I told them I have absolutely zero experience in that field at all. When I got home they rang me to tell me they couldn't stop talking about me and to come back tomorrow. Then she mentioned I had to pay monthly instalments of £265 a month for 2 or 3 months. That's when alarm bells rang. I googled weather this company was legit. All I could see from previous people who did the same as me, unfortunately for them they all got scammed and said please please please stay away from this company. Thank God I read the reviews. Iam definitely not going back tomorrow to loose £530. Thank you everyone for the warning.

My experience with them is very…

My experience with them is very professional, informative and respectful. They are very honest about the process, got selected with them, as a professional actor I was on spotlight but I needed to update my photos so I went with there recommondation, as it's very normal agency recommend studio's and now there agents are representing me on spotlight. So well done and keep up the good work.

Went up to london for an interview…

Went up to london for an interview posted on indeed. It seemed to go really well my ‘casting director’ seemed to be very keen on me, even though I had next to no experience. After the interview they said they were going to have a meeting about all the people they interviewed to choose who to take on. 15 minutes after it was finished I got a call saying I got the job and all I had to do was come back the next day and pay £450-550 to get a portfolio made (basically a set of photos of myself), at this point I was skeptical. I called them up the next day to ask more questions as I didn’t want to go all the way up to london again, I made up that I knew a photographer who has experience in making portfolios and he’d do it for me but they were against the idea for no particular reason so I didn’t end up going, and after reading the reviews on here I’m happy that I didn’t. If you get an interview with these people don’t turn up, or don’t apply in the first place it’s a waste of time.
