Ok but slow
I found the service from Cash4Phones to be very slow. I received the amount offered without quibble but it took nearly 15 days from start to finish.
I personally had no problems with the service itself, just that they advertise a quick turn around but don't provide it.
In my experience they were fine to deal with, just don't expect to get paid in anywhere near the advertised timescale.

Tried to rip me off!
Having got the best price online I sent my phone off. Within a couple of days I received an email to say that my phone had "excessive wear and tear" and I would receive only 40% of the original price. Not only was the phone in excellent condition but I also sent extras such as charger and earphones.
I looked on the internet and noted lots of bad reviews of Cash 4 Phones including some advice as to how to reject the offer. I did this by phoning customer services. Within 6 hours I received a call back to say that there technicians had made a mistake and they would give me the full price - this was word for word how the poor reviews describe the process.
I have received the full payment within 5 days.
I feel that Cash 4 Phones tried to rip me off and would have succeeded if I hadn't bothered to question them.

High Quote slow response.
After submitting my device it took over a week for payment to be made, one of the reasons I went with Cash 4 Phones was because they offered quick payment (2 - 3 days).

Not worth the hassle
I sent off my well looked after phone to Cash 4 Phones to be recycled. Once they had received it and tested it I was then emailed stating the phone had failed its test as it had moderate wear and tear and they offered me 25% less than i was originaly stated. I had always looked after my phone with it always being in a case and have a screen protector front and back. I had to contact the company and eventually they phoned back claiming they knew nothing about the testing fail and that i would get the whole amount. (I wonder how many peole are caught out on this!) eventually i received my money, but it took over 3 weeks from the start of the process. I would not recommend the company.
Quick transfer
Would recommend to friends & family. Quick with transferring money into bank . Would use again.

Complete Con, entice you with a great price for your mobile then give undervalue offer when they have your mobile beware
The company gave me a quote of £120, my Samsung galaxy s2 was in perfect condition. It was only 6mths old and has never been without a screen protector or case and before I sent it I took photos of it just in case. The phone was sent boxed and in bubble wrap to ensure no damage occurred in transit. I got an e-mail a couple of days later stating that it was scatched and an offer of £42 which I rejected, another offer came back after reassessment of £85. I am in the process of asking for my mobile back and if it's scratched in anyway I will be writing to trading standards.
Sorry proof of service is the ref 20347522 which is the Cash4phones ref. Another interesting point is that on the bottom of the letter that came it stated that any issues to call or send an e-mail, however they do not supply a phone number and I couldn't find one on the website. When I did find the number I was on hold for over 40 mins and gave it up due to the cost of the call. I have sent them several e-mails and also paid the £8.95 returns fee I then received another call yet again on the 27th Sept offering me another amount of £96 and my £8.95 returned which I rejected. Then on the 07th Oct I had yet another call asking me if I would accept an offer of £46 when I asked where my phone was as this should already have been sent he quickly hung up, still not received my handset back yet. Reported to watchdog and compiling letter for trading standards if no phone by end of this week.
