Brought a car from one of these branches, and to be honest I wasn’t very impressed. When we first arrived we wasn’t greeted by anyone as you normally would be, asked one of the advisors for help and he brushed me off to someone else who was busy. On test drive car was at 15% battery, which when doing a test drive and then taking it home on that same charge was a very confusing and frustrating thing. Advisor who I was dealing with although very pleasant didn’t offer to show me anything about the car or offer any help with how to drive etc. (first time ev buyer). We arrived at 11:30 and didn’t leave until almost 3. Also very pushy when trying to get you to take out their warranty. Overall not the best car buying experience, it was lucky the deal was a good one otherwise I wouldn’t have bought anything.

Went in to the Towcester branch to test drive a car with my family, greeted immediately by the team and was able to look at the car before Ariz came back from a previous test drive.
Ariz was absolutely fantastic at handling multiple questions from my family and I. He kept it friendly and easy all the way to payment and even stayed late to ensure everything went through okay.

Very disappointing experience – poor sales approach and shocking aftercare
I recently visited Carsa in Towcester after seeing a particular car advertised online. I was interested in purchasing it and part-exchanging my existing car.
When I first arrived, the staff were friendly, polite and accommodating. I test drove the car and was given a part-exchange valuation. Unfortunately, this is where the experience started to change.
The salesperson became extremely pushy about additional products, including paint protection, tyre protection and an extended warranty. I explained multiple times that I was not interested, but he simply would not let it go. The pressure became uncomfortable and, at times, quite intimidating.
I liked the car but explained that I also wanted to view another vehicle at a different location before making my final decision. I was then repeatedly pressured to pay a £40 "reserve" fee. When I declined, the salesperson appeared visibly annoyed. The following day, I received multiple calls encouraging me to make the reservation payment because I had apparently said I wanted the car. I eventually paid the fee and arranged collection for three days later.
Despite the collection date and time already being agreed, I then received up to nine calls and text messages confirming the collection. It felt excessive and unnecessary.
Unfortunately, the real problems started once I had driven the car away.
On the journey home, I noticed that the steering wheel was shaking once I reached around 60mph. I took the car to a local garage the following morning, where I was told that the wheel balancing and tracking were out, there was a defective tyre and a shock absorber was leaking.
This was particularly disappointing given how much the salesperson had emphasised Carsa's "110-point check" and repeatedly assured me how thorough their vehicle inspections were. Based on what was found less than 24 hours after collection, I struggle to understand how these issues could have passed such a supposedly comprehensive inspection.
Trying to get help from Carsa was another matter entirely. Despite contacting them less than 24 hours after collecting the car, I repeatedly found that nobody was available to deal with the issue. I was told someone would call or email me back – they didn't.
When I eventually managed to speak to someone, I was told that I would need to take the car back to a garage and obtain video evidence of the faults, at my own expense. I explained that I was more than happy to bring the car back to Carsa so they could inspect it themselves, particularly given their claims about the 110-point inspection, but this wasn't possible.
In the end, I paid to have the tracking and leaking shock absorber dealt with myself because it was simply easier than continuing to try to get any meaningful assistance from Carsa.
And to add insult to injury, I am still waiting for a £200 refundable deposit. It is now eight days overdue, despite me contacting Carsa every day about it.
The biggest disappointment isn't necessarily that the car had issues – problems can happen with used cars. It's the combination of the high-pressure sales approach, excessive contact, lack of communication and extremely poor after-sales service when something did go wrong.
My experience after handing over the money was completely different from the friendly and accommodating service I received when they were trying to make the sale.
The aftercare customer service is shocking, at best.
I would strongly recommend anyone considering buying from Carsa to think carefully, make sure they are completely comfortable with the vehicle and the terms of the sale, and be prepared to be persistent if something goes wrong afterwards.
Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend Carsa Towcester and would not buy from them again.

Don’t fall for the reviews on this. Only thing they care about is you giving them a 5 star on trustpilot in front of them. Car was advertised to have these “best features” which they didn’t and now we’re going back and forth and carsas communication is horrific. They say they’re willing to give me a “good will” gesture of a tiny amount however their false advertising goes against UK consumer law. Stay away from carsa unless you enjoy rude stuff and being scammed, especially the Towcester branch.
