This is delicious pasta and the new tagliatelle excellent addition.
Cooking spelt pasta requires as much care and attention as you would give to the ordinary stuff but just watch the last few minutes to get the texture you want.

Having bought this pasta from Hodmedods for some time it has become our go to wholemeal pasta. We bought direct when Hodmedods were out of stock. We particularly love the wholemeal organic Einkorn Gigli Rigati, which has a great flavour and texture for simple dishes, and a versatile shape. It's a bit expensive, but good value if you get the bulk packs. We are happy to support a company producing a quality product while doing their best to be fair, ethical and environmentally-friendly.

Great pasta. Nutty flavour, chewy texture, holds its shape well. More shapes please, esp. ditalini.

I was thrilled to find your website when looking for spelt pasta, and even more thrilled to see there was an incredible offer on some of the 4kg bags, which I have snapped up. The pasta looks beautiful and I can't wait to try it. I was intrigued to read the processes that go into making it, and that it is dried slowly on low heat in traditional trays. Thanks for providing a grade A product!

Always best quality pasta. Hence I’m gutted SPELT MACCHERONI is being discontinued (tho made use of 50% discount to grab 8kg 😊).
Still, I live in hope another ancient wheat grain maccheroni will replace it!!
