The report from CarExamer.com and which cost almost £500.00 and upon which I relied was utterly useless and, in addition to its cost, caused me to lose approximately £5,000 on the forced sale of the vehicle.

The only feedback from this merchant was totally negative.

I had a great experience with Car Examer. I booked in the evening and an inspection was scehduled for next day morning. Did a premium inspection and the inspector did a thorough inspection and provided very detailed report. Very happy with it.

Very detailed inspection by the inspector Klavs on the car for pre-inspection owned by Cars Hunt Ltd (or should that be Car Shunt Ltd) in Romford. He said the car was a dog (it was in a poor state), I should offer half its value (BMW 3 Series - priced at £3,750) and I should reconsider buying it. After looking at the report and speaking to Klavs, I realised it would not be a good idea to purchase a car with a trade value of £2,400 (if it was in a 'as new'condition which it was not).

I offered Car Shunt Ltd in Romford £1,875 and I was happy they declined my offer.

I opted for the premium service as the car i was interested in was quite expensive and a 9 hour drive away. It was easy to book and set up. The day before the inspection the engineer Arron called me and explained what he was planning and asked if I had any specific requests. Immediately after the examination Arron called me and explained the issues he had found and talked me through them which was helpful because then i could understand that although he had found several error codes on the management system these were all related to one fault. The dealership immediately went into action to fix the issue. I was very happy that i invested in this service , it saved me a 9 hour drive to then find this issue and have to stay overnight while it was fixed. The quality of the report and photos I received from Arron was very high quality and comprehensive , I am a totally satisfied customer. If all the engineers are as thorough and competent as Arron you will not be disappointed by this service.

Thank you for doing the inspection on such short notice. Thank you more for saving me the stress I would have gone through if I had paid for that vehicle.

One small thing some of the wording on the booking form and colour words are either small or hard to read against colour background.
