Ordered a reconditioned Mazda Bongo engine which arrived and turned out to be very second hand, just pulled straight from another car and delivered complete with the severed ends of the old cooling hoses still attached from the old vehicle.
Tried to negotiate a refund which was refused, so I swallowed my pride and fitted the engine as there was no time left to source a new unit.
The engine block was full of rust and I had to replace every electrical component on the engine just to get it running!
Tried for over a year to get the £100 surcharge back and was promised at least 6 times that the money was on its way. Surprise surprise it never arrived. They have now stopped even answering the phone so I have given up and just have to put this horrible experience behind me!!

Took £2500 off me for an engine that I never received, and now wont give me a refund. Do not use this company - they are rogues and will lie to you time and time again. DO NOT TRUST ANY POSITIVE REVIEWS THEY WRITE THEM THEMSELVES. Currently going through the courts to get my money back.

I have faced problems with my Mazda 2 2007 engine. My mechanic checked it and told me that it is dead and needed to be replaced. I contacted Car Engines and got a reconditioned engine for very low price. My car is now performing very well and I am very happy.
