Extremely disappointing experience
If Google allowed negative stars, I would give them. My wife was urgently recruited by this company and was told that they had several female clients in our area who needed workers. Because of the urgency, she was asked to complete 8 hours of training as quickly as possible.
The very next day, she was asked to cover a shift for another worker. She travelled over 132 km and provided care to several patients during that shift. Unfortunately, that was the only work she was ever given.
Despite repeatedly asking for more work, no further shifts were offered. For the next three months, there was no work at all, until she eventually had to resign.
What is particularly disappointing is that we were later informed that she had actually been recruited to cover just one day for another worker who was on leave. This was not how the opportunity was presented to her when she was urgently recruited and asked to complete the training.
Imagine someone accepting a job believing that there is regular work available, completing the required training at short notice, travelling 132+ km for the first shift, and then receiving no further work for three months. If someone is depending on this job as their sole source of income, this situation could have serious consequences.
In my opinion, the recruitment process should have been much more transparent about the actual availability of work.
Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable and consistent employment.
