Captain Seats, I cannot tell you how outstanding the service was we received today, massive thank you to Elliot and the team, saw a great set of seats and bish bash bosh, all done in 45min (sorry I did not realise it was appointment only, as we were passing on our way home) outstanding quality and service, I cannot tell you how much we appreciate you accommodating us without prior notice. This type of service you should bottle and we could all learn from it.
Quality is outstanding, happy wife and happy van life.

Lovely people, quality product, great service, can’t fault them. Front seats and full width rock n roll bed look amazing in my T5.

These people are wonderful and so experienced. The product they fitted for me was as good as it could have been, cannot describe how pleased I am that I chose them to help with my campervan.

Ordered over the phone R and R bed and front seats to be reupholstered in bespoke leather design of my choice, arrived at around 8oclock in the morning and was on my way home around 10 o'clock. The quality of the leather was very good and transformed my VW transporter highly recommend Captain Seats, service second to none, they even made me a matching porta potty cover. Thanks guys

I have been wanting to pay Captain Seat Ltd a visit for a few years. I finally popped in with view just to browse but was instantly impressed. I can away having placed an order to have a 6 seater VW T5 retrimmed. Service was second to none and the job was booked in and completed within a couple of weeks. Workmanship and materials are splendid.

From start to finish this company gave a fantastic service.
We had new front swivel seats and full width Rock n roll bed fitted and all trimmed in leather. We are so happy with the new look and can't recommend this company enough.

The seats I’m really happy with they look great
I had my Vw transporter seats re covered in leather and swivel added to drivers seat and a matching 3 seat rock and roll bed
However the fitting wasn’t a great experience!
Having had it all booked in for the above with a swivel for the double seat as well I was asked about if I had heated all 3 seats I said yes and they said they will have to trim my own seats when I get there because of this.
Anyway on arrival the fitter said I can’t have a swivel double seat because of the wires for the heating and seatbelt warnings.
So I basically had to choose on the spot heated seats or swivels
Not what I wanted at all
Eliot seemed quite clueless about the actual fitting and how they work
He thought an hour would be plenty the fitters said 2-3
I was told I could sit in a shed outside for the 3 hours?
Luckily I took a bike and went cycling for 4 hours
On my return it wasn’t finished but the fitters had packed up ready to go home bags at door
The handbrake was lowered but not adjusted so had around 25 clicks before it was on and almost vertical.
No cover at all was on it and the lower still isn’t because apparently I have to buy this from eBay myself 🙄
Then to finish off the bed demo showed that it only half worked on return back up if stops half way
Now I have to hold the leaver in open position with one leg while pulling toggle and pulling the back of bed up.
Not by headrest I was told as it will snap off !!!

From ordering to fitting took less than two weeks. Old rock and roll bed removed and new one fitted, plus full set of front seats fitted in half an hour. Amazing! We decided to take our Vivaro camper for assessment rather than order online. We were made very welcome and were offered a choice colours, patterns, materials etc. We replaced our rock and roll bed for their gas assisted one and boy, does it make a difference! We are so pleased with the service and professionalism throughout the whole process. Thanks guys!

Prompt service, on time, lovely people and excellent product. We even got a porta potty cover in matching napa leather made whilst we were there when we collected newly covered front seats and Rock n roll bed. So pleased with it all. Would definitely recommend and use again in future 👍

Just had two captain seats made up and fitted by the company. Very easy process and with a Christmas discount worked out very reasonable price. Couldn't find any other company that were offering the same service for my vauxhall vivaro so we'll pleased.

We have just had our captains seats fitted in our VW T5. They are fabulous Elliot has been efficient and helpful from the first enquiry through to the fitting. We opted for black and grey leather for our two front seats… I would definitely recommend this company.

Wow......What a place I was booked in for 2pm to have 2 captain's seats and a rock and roll bed to be filled. I arrived early no problems with them. They parked my van inside ready. Then the formula 1 team took over 15 minutes all fitted. What service and the chairs oh my god they are 100% quality. The build the leather the stitching. They went about and beyond as the made us a porta potty leather cover to match the seats while we waited. So happy with the service and the friendly staff who explained everything. I challenge you to find better workmanship and service.

Have to echo a previous poor review. Looks good on day 1 but build quality is lacking. I had my seat collected (at my expense as they will not ship out for some reason) the bed squeaks when driving and can become incessant on long trips and lets face it, its in a camper the trips are going to be long. Within a few months the castors fell of on the front of the bed. They are cheap plastic inserts. I'd slept in this maybe 20 times. I emailed them as was sent a link where to buy new ones and told I could drop by and PAY for replacements.

1 year after that the slider mechanisms have disintegrated and the bed will not go up or down without resistance. Again I emailed looking for parts to replace but I was told, we have used so many different parts over the years they cant be sure and "If you want to drop by we can fix these for a small fee"

The skirt around the bottom of the bed also has fallen off in one corner, there is nothing holding it in that I can see glue or staples.

The pull bar to slide the bed back in to situ has also fallen off a few times at this stage and springs fell out. I did manage to gather everything back up and re attach but really, its not acceptable to be putting such cheap components onto something that is costing in to the £1000's of pounds!

After a maybe 30 nights having slept in the bed the cushion seems to have softened to the point that your pelvis impacts

The seatbels on the bed are exactly where your pelvis is so when you forget (and you always forget) to push them in the fold in the bed you are litterally sorely reminded to do it. When you do then do it they dont come back when the bed is made up. they fall behind the seat and have to be fished out with great difficulty when used again.

All in all they look good. and to be fair the suede used has stood up well without any marks to it or the leather. I will have to take the bed out of the van and spend a lot of time faffing trying to get replacement parts and hope that if I'm ever in a collision the bed stands up to it. Just ask yourself, are you happy to go through all of that for the money they are asking??

I left my van with Captain Seat for replacement of the floor, fitting of a rock & roll bed and two replacement front seats. All done smoothly and with no fuss. Workmanship excellent. Quality of leather used; top quality. Customer Service - full marks awarded. I recommend this company and would certainly go there again.
