I ordered the Canny Collar for our Podenco/Spanish Water dog mix, and it arrived within three days. Excellent delivery service.
Unfortunately I have not been able to use it yet, as it was too big. But that was OK…. and he has nearly grown into it!!!

I was very skeptical when a dog trainer suggested the Canny Collar to improve my GSD's obedience and reactions. But thing started improving from the first walk.
I was not expecting such a radical change in behaviour.
We still have a long way ahead, but i am confident we will work out all obstacles

Useless gadget
My dog (golden retriever, 14 months) definitely refuses this collar.
I get rodeo scenes every time I try to adjust the collar which is then absolutely useless. However, I follow the manufacturer's recommendations, and my dog is particularly calm and docile.

I'm a dog trainer using the benevolent method, and I don't use any coercive tools.
My method is based on positive communication.
When I have a person who is literally being pulled by his dog and who is causing major physical problems, then I suggest the ‘canny collar’ which, for me, is a must as long as the handler does not do any pulling, as long as he communicates to the dog that he is learning to walk. The ‘canny collar’ is a learning tool and, like all tools, it must be removed so that the dog can have a real dog's life.

As a trainer, you will be perfectly aware that every dog is different and that different tools and techniques are needed with each one. The Canny is just one of many options that can help. And yes, ideally it is hopefully not needed after a dog is properly trained to walk to heel. It will then have done its work. 😊 🐾

when i bought the collar, i ordered the wrong size because amazon had only two sizes listed. i called the company and they immediately sent out the correct size and instructed me on how to use it. they were very supportive.thank you to the people both in the us and in europe.

Don't want to be without it!
First time I’ve tried a collar with a nose band and it worked very well to “calm” our reactive dog and gain more control over her behavior on walks. Now it’s possible to also train her on walks, which was impossible before.
