Missing sweets, terrible customer service

I ordered from their website, my bag was spilt with sweets all over box. I sent a complaint using their help email twice and it was undelivered, I sent 2 forms on their website nothing. I messaged them on Instagram in the end and I got 1 message out of them before they didn't reply again so I raised a case through PayPal, they responded then. Told me they would refund shipping but not the sweets. Not happy.

I hate writing bad reviews but just be warned ordering from this site. Your order comes whenever and I got mine in a torn bag so the sweets were all over the box. Not a great gift and couldn’t salvage the package. Frustrating when there’s a million competitors who are decent

Poor Customer Service and Delivery Times

Ordered on the 7th March for my son’s 21st birthday and received an email confirming the order. Then heard nothing for a week even though delivery said 2-3 days and cost £3.99. By the following Monday we were emailing with no response and trying to phone but all numbers beeped and then cut off. Contacted credit card company to start a chargeback. Although we had no response from our emails on the 14th we had a generic email saying it had been shipped and arrived today 11 days after placing the order.

Awful customer service and missed my son’s birthday.

Fraud

Used the (still active!) Salisbury candydaze site, no same day delivery happened as promised on the site. They replied the next day with some excuses about their husband to say business not been running since October and they couldn't refund until 25th Feb but they still haven't and are not replying to me.

The main company I have messaged on insta and they say it's up to customers to do their own due diligence and the salisbury one is no longer connected them as no longer trading. Having to claim back via credit card, only £24 but I refuse to be stolen from by scammers. AVOID.

I placed an order for three boxes of…

I placed an order for three boxes of sweets at £14.99 each for Christmas on 22/12/21 and paid £5.99 for express delivery in 1-2 days. Finally received on 12th January! Very poor customer service. Messages and emails ignored. They claimed they had been sent on 4th Jan. Avoid.

Do not use this place candydaze.co.uk has poor customer service and are rude and very judgmental.. I orderd some seeets on the 12 November 2021 and waited for my order to come the company that they use just left it in my door step which is close to a main road that doesn’t have any bushes or fencing around so people can see a parcel left on my door step.. they have taken a photo so it was delivered but got no answer as I was out so they left it there and some one has stolen it.. when I reported this they where very rude and judgemental saying that I wanted another lot sent out so I got them for nothing!!! I ordered a 1 kg bag of seeets and if I wanted a 2kg bag I would have ordered two .. they said they would not being sending another one out as I was lying and just wanted free sweets so they have stolen my 14.99 .. they also said because of covid the driver will leave it but then in next email said that no driver would leave a parcel on ur door step so contradicted them self here and other times too.. also claimed I was childish and talk if the office as I’m stupid!!! That is disgusting comments and customer services.. also claimed that because I blocked them it proves that I am lying as they have caught me out!!!! The Farnborough branch also went on to compare my order like a pizza that I order from dominos in Farnborough and then complained to Scotland!!! Well I would contact Farnborough.. the Farnborough branch didn’t even offer any surpport and who to contact etc then.. DONT ORDER FROM CANDY DAZE at all as there customer service is shocking and claim to be a small business but then said they where a franchise 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ They are rude judgmental avoid at all cost go get ur sweet off another site as these are thief’s and very bad customer services

Do not use!!

Ordered over a week and a half ago, no delivery nor a tracking number, emailed them using 3/4 different email addresses, messaged them on Facebook and used their "help" contact form on their website. I finally got a response yesterday and they claimed their server has been having issues.... then asked for my order number. I provided my number straight away and then silence again. Which has then led me to Google reviews today (wish I had checked before!!) I paid for 1-3 day delivery and their Web page states orders are usually dispatched within 12hrs, so I thought I'd ordered within good time for it to be delivered in time for Halloween. Absolutely shocking service and do not care about their customers at all. I will now be contacting PayPal to reverse charges.

Good sweets and selection

Ordered from here 3 times now, one of the times the delivery was a little far out than normal but it does state on their delivery page if their is certain times of the year where they do get a lot of orders.

Always recommend, never an issue.

Wrong order and rude customer service

I'd like to start by saying I had previously ordered from this company back in April and my order was fine. However I had a recent bad experience. I spent around £50 for 3 custom pick and mix boxes and paid extra for express 1-2 day delivery. These sweets were for a birthday so I ordered them with plenty of time for them to arrive. My order showed up over a week later and was completely wrong. I received 1 pick and mix box with a small bag of sweets and the box wasn't what I had ordered. I sent an email with no response, used the online enquiry form again with no response. I messaged on Instagram and got a response straight away with an apology and stating that my correct order will be sent out today and I will receive my order the next day. I thanked them and later that day sent a message to check it had been sent and no response. After waiting in all day the following day nothing arrived so I'd sent a message on Instagram to ask again if it was sent and to update them that I hadn't received anything. The following day I had no response so I sent another message to ask what was happening. I received a response straight away to say "excuse me whilst I go through your 20 messages". Whilst there were a number of messages it was 5 including the message where I said thank you for sorting so quickly. I then got told that they had sent the order and sent me the tracking information to prove which showed a delay with the courier. Then went on to say they were baffled by the number of messages and the urgency. I was so shocked, I wasn't rude in my messages. I'm definitely not normally a Karen but I just wanted to know what was happening. I explained that it would have been nice for me to be sent the tracking information when it was sent so then I could see what was happening. I also explained that I paid extra for express delivery nearly 2 weeks ago. Eventually my sweets arrived but again there were sweets in the custom pick and mix that were missing from the box and replaced with random ones so wasn't what I wanted at all and they did not arrive in time for my partners birthday. I'm all for supporting small businesses but I will definitely not be supporting this one again.

Not really worth the hassle!

Delivery took over well over a week. Contacted them 4 separate times regarding my order as well and didn’t hear anything back from them once. The sweets are nice but I don’t think I’d order from there again.

Won't use this company again.

I was happy with the large range of sweets to choose from, I paid for 1-3 days shipping and they took 9 days to arrive, then I had some missing out of my selection. Maybe they were not available, but an email would have been nice. They don't taste as fresh as other companies I have used in the past. Won't be buying again.

Awful service

Awful service. Sent only 1 of 2 items ordered. Contacted them and they confirmed another would be sent. Never happened. Raised complaint with Paypal for refund. No need for this bad service!

Horrendous customer Service.

I Ordered sweets from Candydaze, to the sum of about £50. Firstly it took 8 days for the delivery to arrive, which isn't exactly their fault but when I emailed them for an update i never received a response. Finally the delivery turned up but a bag of sweets which cost £10.00 did not turn up with the delivery, so I sent them another email, this time using their online 'Help' message box, with yet again no response. My partner messaged them again on messenger which they replied to and gave us an alternative email to message and yet again no response... my emails are working and I've checked all the addresses. It's just odd that the won't respond and not something I've encountered before and now they are even ignoring us on messenger.

Awful customer service... Actually, I can't really say that, as I've not had any customer Service to speak of... but you get the point. Shocking.

Very poor customer service

On their website it states guaranteed 2-3 day delivery for £5.99. I picked that as I wanted them quickly. Took 7 days to arrive. I contacted them twice through their website and no response. I then wrote on an Instagram post about their appalling customer service (I noticed there were several other comments about the lack of express delivery). I went back onto the post several days later and my comments as well as the other negative ones were gone. The sweets were really nice to be fair just a shame they charge ridiculous money for a guaranteed service they don’t delivery and have very poor customer service. Go to another company
