Complete tosswits.

Took my money, then cancelled the booking, have told me 10 days to get a refund. I called and asked to speak to a supervisor and was assured I would get a call back.this did not happen, I called again 4 times, same story and still no call. I'll never use these clowns again. A joke of a company, all the negative feedback is justified.

If I could put no stars then I would this is terrible company who cancels your booking after they have took your money and they’re customer service is absolutely terrible!! They never refunded my money that said they would.

Buyer beware

Buyer beware, searched and found room for 2 beds. Somehow switched to Cancelon company who booked the room as non-refundable. They sent confirmation of king only. Called immediately and they would not help rectify. Bait and switch on hotel room and there is nothing you can do. Amazon Prime credit card with Chase bank would not help our at all. Out $940 and they do not care. This is scam, just search reviews and 100's come up that had same problem. Worst customer experience I have ever had. They absolutely will rip you off and there will be nothing you can do. Find your rate and go directly to site to book. Do not fall victim to this scam. Find best price and book direct.

Do not EVER deal with this fraudulent…

Do not EVER deal with this fraudulent company! Quickly took my credit card and charged it. Failed to email me a notification when they promised one "quickly". Called the hotel myself and there had NOT been a reservation made, so I made on then. Now? These frauds won't even answer their phone. I will contest any charge they make on my account! I'm certain they are playing with the review numbers because there is NO way they rate better than zero!

Booked a Double for family—only got a room

I requested a room with a double bed and they reserved a “room”. When I got to the hotel I was given a room with one bed. I am traveling with my family and child. I called the booking agent and they gave me a technician explanation that I only booked a room. They couldn’t even transfer my correct name to the hotel. I almost wasn’t able to stay there. Never use these people. They refused to lift a finger to help.

I booked this hotel on Dec 21 2019. You guys never made my conformation until the day I arrived. Because of your slow responsiveness to getting my hotel booked. When I arrived they asked for a credit card for some charges and they charged me the whole hotel fee again. It was even more than I made with Hopper. I had to go back and give them my receipt from my original reservation. I believe that it is all getting taken care of. But I am truly disappointed with your service. So we will definitely won’t be using you again.

Cancelon is a fraudulent and deceptive…

Update: cancelon replies to say this would be resolved. It was not. They continue to say resort fees are due to the resort without acknowledging they were paid to cancelon as well. They make it look like they work with the customer but they do not. It’s also fake. STAY AWAY FROM THIS UNETHICAL COMPANY!

Cancelon is a fraudulent and deceptive company with very shady business practices. STAY AWAY! We found a room on booking.com and paid in full for the ocean-view room and all hotel fees. I was surprised when I received the confirmation to see that it came from a company called cancelon.

The room type that we booked was not even available at the hotel we booked at. The hotel was advertised to include free parking and a breakfast - neither of which were included upon us asking at check in. We were supposed to have an ocean view room and instead we got a small, old room that was overlooking a parking lot so there was definitely false advertising.

On the confirmation page for their website, a $150 resort fee was added on. When I asked for an itemized receipt after the hotel told me they had no note about resort fees being paid, Cancelon waited a couple of days and then sent me receipt that had two lines (room cost and taxes/fees). They didn't even show the resort fee and I found out this money was not forwarded to the hotel but rather pocketed by Cancelon. Cancelon will not provide an itemized receipt nor any confirmation that aligns with their confirmation page following payment - ensure you take screenshots if you have to deal with them.

Then I had to pay the resort ANOTHER RESORT FEE of $150 PLUS parking at $30 per day and there was no breakfast included. I have emailed Cancelon repeatedly and they said resort fees are paid directly to the hotel and refused to acknowledge that I had already paid those to Cancelon. They have pretended that I didn't pay the resort fees in a way to scam me out of $150 and the hotels are complacent in this as well. I will never ever use a booking site (booking.com in this case) or Cancelon again. We also paid for a premium room and got the crappiest room the hotel had. This was a classic bait and switch. I can't believe this company is allowed to operate and that booking.com uses them!

Cancelon does not state there is a $35…

Cancelon does not state there is a $35 cancellation fee for them while booking a hotel thru them. It only tells you this once you purchase and receive an email. They will refund the hotel reservation if you cancel it before the deadline but they will deduct $35 from the refund for their fee, VERY DECEIVING!!! I suggest you call your credit card company and dispute their fee.

Updated review, they have not refunded a dime. We have been in touch multiple times and they even responded to my review on Google maps and asked for me to send them an order number. I responded with order number via email and not a single attempt to respond to me. The bank issued a stop payment but the money was already withdrawn via paypal. Now my PayPal is locked due to this issue. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Worst company I have dealt with in my…

Worst company I have dealt with in my life. It's all a scam. Paid 112$ for hotel through them. Arrived and Cancelons credit card declined over and over. The hotel, Doubletree, El Paso, kindly gave me better rate , which I paid, 87.26$
Thought always good, but no! Cancelon had already charged my card and insists the hotel owes me refund. So, if the hotel refunds 87.26, Cancelon will still owe me 24.74$ which Im sure Ill never see. Scam and a fraud. Do not use them.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING THROUGH CANCELON, THEY ARE CROOKS. I HAD BOOKED A HOTEL AND IT WAS NOT DISCLOSED THAT ONCE I ARRIVE AT THE HOTEL, THAT THERE WOULD BE A $30 OVERNIGHT PARKING FEE, SO I TRIED TO IMMEDIATELY CANCEL WITHIN LESS THAN 10MINS OF BOOKING THE HOTEL AND THEY THREATEN YOU AND TELL YOU IF YOU CANCEL YOU WILL BE CHARGED A $12 FEE! EVEN THOUGH THEY DON'T TELL YOU THE EXTRA STUFF YOU HAVE TO PAY AND ONCE YOU BOOK, THEN YOU HAVE TO EITHER KEEP IT OR PAY THEN $12!!!!!!! BOOKING.COM CHARGES ZERO WITHIN A CERTAIN TIME-FRAME......KEEP AWAY FROM CANCELON....THEY ARE STONE COLD CROOKS!!!

They were easy to work with and…

They were easy to work with and provided a room for me to confirm at the hotel way before their 24 hours before arrival policy. I do not like the part that they are a 3rd party to talk to since I would like to talk to someone at the site I booked at if I have any questions;

Trust but verify

Overall it worked out using this site for my hotel reservations for Vegas. Great rates on a great hotel. However I did have to contact the site to get my reservation confirmation code. The email they sent had a reservation ID number which is an internal number for them and not what my hotel wanted. I did the live chat feature in the site and got it. However the agent said they had sent it. When I told them they did not they did not show good customer service.

Reservation never given my reservation.

When I arrived at the hotel they informed me that there was no reservation under my name. Apparently Cancelon and the hotel do not have compatible booking systems so the hotel was never properly notified of my reservation. I had to wait over an hour for things to finally get sorted out. It was not the way I wanted to start my anniversary weekend.

Excellent rate and follow-through

Received an excellent rate and they were very responsive when I asked how much I would get back if I cancelled one night. They told me they would call the hotel and call me back and they did. They then gave me the credit in the few days, just as they said they would. The only thing that wasn't great was that they said they would send me the confirmation number at a later date, which actually wasn't listed on the voucher they sent. Having had one of these companies go out of business after I placed my order and the hotel having no knowledge, this made me worried. But they were responsive when I called, confirmed with the hotel they had my reservation, and apparently, the hotel doesn't give out confirmation numbers for "security reasons".

They never paid the hotel for my stay.

I didn't find out they never paid my hotel until a month later, when checking my credit card statement I see a large charge from the hotel. Calling the hotel, they look into it and say that they never got paid, and have not heard of Cancelon but billed to another company that put through the reservation which denied the payment. Called Cancelon and got the same deal as other reviews, that they will look into it and sent me an e-mail asking for proof I have been charged by the hotel - a form e-mail btw so this isn't an unusual situation for them. I said I had the contact information for the AR person at the hotel in question, who has all the information necessary to sort this out. They told me NOT TO PROVIDE that information (I did anyway.) What happens next will confirm whether this is just a poorly run company or an OUTRIGHT SCAM. Given the numerous 1 star reviews peppered with fits of 5 star reviews zero substance reviews (November 3 and 1 were banner days for 5 star reviews) I am not optimistic...
