Do not book through this website

Do not book through this website. They scammed us by title free cancellation they ended up charged us with ridiculous fees. I called them within minutes and it seemed they are just waiting for us to cancel and prayed on our money for cancellation.

Do not Book Disney Hotels!!!

If you need a reservation number, DO NOT USE THEM!!. We booked for Swan Disney, they don't tell you you will get their reservation number not a hotel one. Their number can not be link to Disney account for Fast Passes. You will have to call hotel (Cancelon couldn't get number) day before reservation and get the number from the hotel. Saving a few $$$ not worth the extra hassle and frustration the day before your departure.

I feel getting an actual reservation number is not acceptable. Very confused about the whole thing. I travel frequently and have never had so much confusion. Please let me know if my reservation is all set. I own hotels in USA and I am confused

Completely satisfied

I was reluctant to book on this site because of mixed reviews. I booked a hotel in Philadelphia. It was less than half the price listed for the hotel, so I took a leap of faith. I called the hotel the day before arrival to verify my room. My check in was a breeze. Completely satisfied. I would book through cancelon.com again.

Buyer beware.

Exact same experience as Howard below with the exact dates and hotels.

Buyer beware.

Cancelon failed to deliver twice.
After not being able to secure my original reservation they again failed to secure my relocation. I was forced to ask for a refund on the eve of my trip. I will be now paying double to secure a last minute reservation.

I highly recommend you use an alternative travel site. This company is inept and a nightmare to deal with,

100% CRIMINAL

100% CRIMINAL. Happy to provide the email dialogue. These people need to all be put in jail. Customer service is well aware that it is a 100% SCAM. I booked a room on or about Nov 16 for Miami Beach for the Metropolitan Como for Dec 5-8; the price seemed good but I really didn't over think. Then I noticed that the price for the hotel was 2-3x what I paid. I called them and they confirmed all was set. I called the Met Como and they make clear they would not honor the reservation -- I didn't have one. On Thanksgiving the hotel told me the Met Como had over-booked and would I "accept" the Fontainebleau or did I want a refund. I accepted. For the 5 days since I have asked for my confirmation and they told story after story. I called the hotel and of course they don't have my room. This afternoon about 5pm I contacted my credit card company and told them Cancelon was a scam; the credit card company (Barclays for Master Card) are reviewing it as a "disputed claim." Since then, Cancelon called and tried to convince me that it was the hotel's issue and all would be resolved shortly --within hours (just as they had told me earlier in the day but that time had passed at that point by hours...and just as they had told me for 5 days)....do you think the Fontainebleau takes 5 days to confirm a reservation? Cancelon said they would refund my money, but, only if I agreed that if I booked another room I would not come after them for the difference. The guy said he wanted my email confirmation of this; however, it appears they gave me the $ back though who knows if the email they sent me is legit (ill need to check). 100% SCAMMERS.

I BOOKED A ROOM LAST WEEK- THE ROOM WRITE UP
MAXIMUM ROOM OCCUPANCY 1
IDEAL FOR AN INDIVIDUAL TRAVELLER OR COUPLE LOOKING FOR A QUIET OASIS.

AFTER MAKING THE BOOKING MY CONFIRMATION CAME THROUGH STATING THAT I AM IN AN 8 PERSON MIXED DORM.

AFTER A LOT OF BACK AND FORTH THEY ARE REFUSING TO PROVIDE A REFUND STANDING FIRMLY BEHIND THEIR NO CANCELATION POLICY!

IMAGINE BOOKING THAT PERFECT SUNNY GETAWAY WITH YOUR BETTER HALF TO BE TOLD THAT YOUR SHARING WITH 7 OTHER PEOPLE.

IMAGINE THE FRUSTRATION AT BEING TOLD BY VARIOUS CUSTOMER SUPPORT AGENCIES THAT THEY HAVE A FIRM NO CANCELATION POLICY.

IMAGINE GETTING READY FOR A PEACEFUL OASIS TO BE TOLD YOU'LL BE SLUNG IN WITH 6 OTHER BACKPACKERS.

WELL PLEASE PLEASE THINK AGAIN BEFORE USING CANCELON...THEY'LL RUIN YOUR VACATION!

BAD SERVICE AND MISTAKES!

STAY AWAY! We booked a king suite at Home 2 Suites with 2 adults through cancelon.com. Cancelon then books a queen studio with 1 adult. Wait it gets worse! Then I call cancelon 4 times and 3 emails to have them fix it. They say they are “working on it. “ That’s a lie. I then call Home 2 Suites and they said they never received a call or email from cancelon so I had to fix the whole reservation myself. Will NEVER use Cancelon again and we travel a lot.

Awful company

Awful company. Doesn't understand the meaning of committing to something. Promised me things for weeks and *never* delivered on those promises. Don't believe anything they tell you. They will not call you back. They will not remember anything they previously told you. You have to forcefully remind them of their own cancellation policy. They do not care at all about your vacation.

I’m Only giving one star because there

I’m Only giving one star because there is no chance to put zero. I wished I would’ve read these reviews before I booked with Cancelon.
Showed up at my hotel with confirmation numbers for a paid for booking.
Cancelon neglected to contact my hotel, so I had to repay at a much higher rate
Then they tried to tell me that I wasn’t going to receive a refund because I was the one who canceled. They did back down from that and I have finally received my refund for original booking after 22 days.
I am very surprised that TripAdvisor would recommend these people, also not using TripAdvisor again, they were very little help and you could never talk to the same person twice, and each person acted like it was a new topic.

They cancelled the booking a month…

They cancelled the booking a month later and offered me an expensive alternative in a different location. Now I'm back to square one looking for a hotel one month later when all the bargains are gone! Don't know what their business model is but they had my money for a month; I guess they invested it.

I spent $1200 on a reservation for four…

I spent $1200 on a reservation for four nights. I phoned to try to cancel a night, they told me I couldn't, but that all I had to do was show the voucher and I could still use the reservation. I said "fine, I'll keep the reservation." I get to the hotel the second night, Cancelon has cancelled the reservation, I phone Cancelon, they refuse to honor the reservation. I have to make an entirely new one at entirely new expense. After first asking, being refused, then demanding that I speak with a supervisor, my reservation was finally honored.

****SCAM ALRT****I booked 2 rooms online 6 months ago, I called and confirmed my reservation with CancelOn. Arrived in Mexico City from Los Angeles and someone cancelled my reservation. The hotel refused to honor my reservation and CancelOn said it was a glitch. Since I had to rebook my hotel stay, it cost me over $1,000 in extra charges because of the NFL game that weekend. CancelOn refused to pay the more expensive rate since it was there mistake, tried to put me in a 2 star hotel that I could have got online for $115 a night, not close to the $300 a night cost I paid at the intercontinental Presidente. I was on hold for 2 hours and they offered me 10% discount on my next hotel purchase on their site. Avoid at all cost
