Excellent product. Got 4 dogs each with their own fussy traits which was a nightmare trying to find a food they all liked. Started with canagan just over 3 weeks ago now and so far so good. Seems this could be the one……Fingers crossed.

Canagans dog meat upsetting tummy
Been buying Canagans meat for a long time, but since January our dogs tummy has been very unsettled and he has been in a lot of discomfort. Removed the meat from his diet and he has been back to his previous self. Yesturday thought I gave him a Canagan soft chicken treat and it has upset him again. Something has changed and it no longer suits him. We have 13 tins of food now that we can’t use which is so frustrating as costly to buy.

Chihuahua - skin allergies
I have just put my chihuahua on the small pouches of wet food and he loves it! He has terrible skin allergies and have noticed he’s not scratching as much . He’s also not begging for human food which is a win win . This food is great as I’ve noticed he doesn’t get an upset stomach whilst on it.

My 6 year old cat got very unwell the…
My 6 year old cat got very unwell the past 6 weeks. He has been on chicken wet since a kitten. He had foul watery stools and clear vomit. 3 vet visits and nothing was wrong. I knew the wet food and smell was different as soooo much more water in container. I switched his wet food and within a few days he was back to normal. I really wished I read the reviews here before spending so much money on vet bills

Never look back.
Our pup LOOOVES canagan.
She actually sticks her nose up to all other food. Either by not being interested or literally spitting it out.
We changed her to canagan at around 12 weeks old and she has never looked back.
They have so much selection and choice, she has tried them all. Including the insect dry food, every tinned food, and their treats range.
When she was younger people would buy her other brands of treats and they would play havoc with her stomach. With Canagan she has never had an issue.
As her owners we love that we understand the ingredients and know that she is getting the best we can get, including lots of known superfoods.
She is a very active dog and needs all the added goodness to keep her strong and healthy.

Has become too expensive at same quality
Cats love the food but the price has gone up from 1.40 to 2 euros per tin in 2 years time, while many tins don't even have 75g, we measure our food every day and it's often 73g.
Edit after canagan's reaction: it is a tasteless lie that they have not increased the price in the last 2 years. I have the invoices of all these months. For example, in 2021 all the online shops in the netherlands, the retail shops AND canagan themselves priced the tins at 1.49€. Nowadays 1.99€. So please, if you are gonna lie, then have the decency to prove it.

My cat is 4 and always ate Canagan Free Range Chicken. Since a few weeks, she started vomitting every night. Went to the vet, absolutely no issues. Couldn't find what was wrong. Until I checked the reviews online and in reddit ... many people having the same issues since Canagan changed the country of production.
I just switched my cat from Canagan to Edgard Cooper and she seems to get better every day.

We only use a dried peppermint ingredient within our recipes which is safe for cats and dogs to eat and is good for reducing bad breath due to its antibacterial properties and pleasantly strong odour. It is also approved by the Commission Regulation (EU) No 68/2013 of 16 January 2013 on the Catalogue of feed materials. This has been part of our recipe since we launched in 2012 and has been safely fed to millions of cats across the world since Canagan went on sale over a decade ago.

Excellent dog food
Excellent dog food, worth the price. Both my working dogs are on Canagan Chicken, the older collie coat now gleams and my younger cocker won’t eat anything else! Grain free so excellent for excitable dogs as it doesn’t go straight through them and out the other side when they are excited and keen to work.

I have two dogs
I have two dogs. A labrador and a German shepherd, my labrador is on Canagan senior light food as he’s trying to lose weight and he’s been great with it. My dogs are always so happy to dig in! Even my German Shepherd, who’s usually a bit picky, cleans his bowl every time. Within a few weeks, I have noticed my fur babies have shinier coats and more consistent energy levels during playtime. I discovered Canagan months ago, and since then I’ve had no doubts about the choice of food to give to my dog.
My dog was uninterested in any dog food I tried with him. I started using wet food, cheese and a lot of things, but nothing really worked.
When I tried Canagan, my dog came back to life…he rediscovered the taste and desire to eat.
The ingredients are of a very high quality, always respecting nature. They don’t contain unnecessary filler grains and are complete with everything our pets need.
Thanks to Canagan, my dog has improved in many ways: his coat, joints, digestion, breath, poop and he’s much more powerful!
It’s a product worth every euro spent. I strongly recommend it to everyone who wants to be more aware of and care for their pet’s needs, starting with a correct nutrition.
