Delivered to Wrong Address.

I placed an order from a shoe store in Ontario to be delivered to my home address in Middle Sackille Nova Scotia. It didn't arrive the day it was supposed to. I checked the tracking. It was delivered to a community box in Dartmouth, but the address wasn't listed. How the hell do you deliver a package to a completely different address then is put on the package. My husband had a similar experience not long ago. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable.

Lost $150 and wasted weeks, fake customer support

An important package I waited weeks for was finally out for delivery, then the status changed to "Possible delay- Verifying address". I called them immediately to understand what was going on, and after verifying the address with them, they told me it would arrive the following day. The following day, it was marked as return to sender. I called them and they said it was now too late to do anything. I lost $150 of shipping + duty fees. Just criminal.

Why am I paying a handling fee when that's literally your job

The delivery person and things on that side is totally fine. But why am I paying a handling fee for Canada post to literally do its job and deliver my package. I have absolutely no problem paying duties or taxes or anything like that, but I have a major problem with paying a handling fee. The postage was already paid for, this is an extra that was added on during the tracking on my package. And there is literally no way for me to get a hold of anyone to argue this. This should not be ok. I will be paying extra to have my packages shipped with couriers for sure!

Despicable!!

OMG, Canada Post, you are so third world!! Absolutely despicable service!! My daughter desperately needed her medication, and was promised a 3 day delivery service (for a 2 hour drive). It's been 2 weeks and still nothing!!!! Where the heck is the package???

Recently I stayed home from work to…

Recently I stayed home from work to wait for a delivery and was home all day 10 feet from the door, after hearing a door shut I saw the Canada post pick up slip and watch the delivery driver drive away,
I have a blink doorbell camera catching him not even trying to attempting to try and knock and ring door bell
Pure unprofessional and the delivery person in a rush and ruined my day

Utterly Disappointing

In June of 2025 we paid over $300 to get our mail forwarded. Mail continues to be delivered to the old address. Cheques, wedding invitation, other mail continues to be sent to the old address. The tenants at the old address originally said they put the letters back in the mail. These letters are now lost (includes cheques, etc). We have opened numerous tickets over the months and the Canada Post customer service person says the mail is being forwarded. Appalling. We even addressed letters on various occasions to the old address and those letter have ended up at the old address, not forwarded (we have photos)! The tenants at the old address now hold the mail for us (we have to drive 20 miles each way to pick it up). Our mail is not being tagged and forwarded by Canada Post, even though we paid for it. We have asked for our money back as Canada Post has not abided by the contract to forward our mail. Each time we call, it is a differrent customer service rep. Even after requesting a manager to address our concern, the manager says they will contact us within 48 hours. Again appalling... no one follows up on that promise. We just want our money back as Canada Post customer service is highly unsatisfactory, not up to standard, utterly disappointing and totally unacceptable.

If I could give Canada post 0 stars i would

If I could give Canada post 0 stars I would they are the hands down the worst shipping company in Canada . Customer support is disrespectful and rude. My package was never delivered in the time frame stated from City to City just took my money and never delivered should have just sent it standard. This is an ongoing problem for years with the Crown Corporation .

Terrible

Terrible. I had a parcel due to arrive March 2,2026. They kept saying failed as address needs to be verified. On top saying they antte to deliver and that’s not true. 2x. And no contact. It is March 5,2026. They told me up to 5 days now to be released. Unprofessional when you pay for a service and not get it.

They will not deliver your package.

As many others are experiencing, I'm also experiencing Canada Post not delivering. They even put the delivery notice inside of my secure mailbox that would have held the small package I've purchased before and seen put in my mailbox before. I'd be surprised if they even had the package, and this was after delaying it to tomorrow several times in a row. They didn't even ring my doorbell which makes me even more sure they didn't actually have the package - I was home and waiting for it.

Everything is wrong with Canada Post.

In 2026 Canada Post doesn't take Visa Debit or Paypal on their website to ship.
AND
In 2026 Canada Post's app which claims to have a ship feature doesn't. I updated it, signed in etc. doesn't have one.
My taxes pay for this the least they could do is modernize.

Canada Post mail men didn't ring thedoor bell or knock to the door and left me note to pick up my parcel tomorrow far away. Even though I saw him walking on the other side through the window and was waiting for him, and my car was parked at the driveway, so obviously someone is home.
Terrible service, wasting my time.
I wish the company that I ordering from- was using UPS instead, they always deliver on time in 2-3 days (instead of week with CP), and notify through messages right away and not lazy to call the door bell.

If I could give a ZERO

If I could give a ZERO, I would. Official address is M5* ABC. Canada post sends it to M5* XYZ. They said they couldn't find me at that incorrect postal code... gee I wonder why... Tells me that I have to use a different street number to have it directed to my building with the correct postal code when I've had many packages and letters delivered by Canada Post, FedEx, UPS, Canpar, etc... using my address for 25 years...

I have given them one star

I have given them one star. There was no option for no stars. The last parcel I received and received very late I might add was delivered to an address in Toronto Ontario. I live north of Vancouver British Columbia. My recent parcel was delivered to another town on Vancouver Island. Still waiting for it. I have had parcels and mail delivered to wrong addresses in town.
I have asked for my parcels to be left on my front porch. The mailman left it out on the stairs near my driveway during a rainstorm.
And they wanted a raise. lol. What for.

Canada post attempts to deliver to the correct business adress at a closed time. They could have verified business hours . Then they reschedule the item and update to delivery for next business day they claim there is a adress discrepancy and hold it. I've had several issues with canada post delivering item to wrong apt and also my item put on hold for months at a time for strike issues. Im so disappointed with the incompetence it blows me away I can only say im very sorry so sorry I've ever done business with canada post.

Never mail international registered mail

I was sold Registered international mail . The number was used multiple times and not deleted. Almost 40 dollars for something that is not in the system. Now I have to wait 30 days to even put claim,hours on the phone and almost impossible to talk to the person can do something about it .Canada Post is now the most unreliable service. If you have something important, go to any other Courier.
