Wow 🤩 Camp Wildfire is THE BEST!
Wow 🤩
I’m lost for words (in a good way!!)
My husband came with me at the last minute and I must say that I was a little worried that he wouldn’t enjoy it. No way! He loved it and we both embraced the whole experience as if we were kids!
Only downside was the poor mobile reception. You need that in order to change or update your activity schedule.
We also need an app guys!
We stayed in the van field and that was fab. Everyone was really friendly and helpful.
Our Patrol Leaders have it EVERYTHING. Thank you and see you all next year! Tickets booked for 2026!
Great opportunity to meet people with…
Great opportunity to meet people with similar outlooks on life than you have. Very fun spirited and kind hearted. Good balance of productive (once in a life) activities to then some great music and socialising.
Highlight of my summer
Highlight of my summer!
Great chance to be outdoors and pretend to be a kid again!
Unforgettable experience!
Unforgettable experience!
There are so many different activities to choose from, an electric but also peaceful and friendly atmosphere, even between the different patrols.
Yes the merch is expensive and can add up, but once you've got the main bits (i.e. the shirt) it's just getting badges you've done activities for and even then it's not mandatory.
We loved it so much, we booked it again for next year.
We stayed in general camping and overall it was an amazing experience.
I suppose our only negative (which isn't worth removing a star for) is that the drinking water tastes somewhat funky.
Brillant End of Summer Vibes
This is such a great festival/ summer camp. It's so mu fun and everyone is really friendly, absolutey 10 out of 10!
"4th Year at the Campwildfire 10th anniversay 2025
"4th Year at the Festival – Still Amazing!"
This was my fourth year at the festival, and it was, once again, an absolute blast! Every year I try new things, but there’s always something familiar and fun to come back to.
One of my favorites this year was the Kintsugi Pottery workshop. I made a Kintsugi Trinket Tray right there at the festival, and it turned out so cool! It was such a chill and creative experience. I also worked on a slate coaster at home afterward, fixing it up with gold. Now I’ve got two awesome pieces that remind me of the festival every time I look at them.
The Patrol Games were a highlight, as usual. but 2025 being th 10th annivesary the opening ceremony and the finale were a whole other level. Super fun and full of energy, It was a great way to open and wrap up the weekend full of laughs and team spirit.
This year, I also tried Mushroom Growing—and I’m excited I’m looking forward to seeing how they turn out! I also did Burlesque, apothecary , wood whittling and shelter building this year.
I gave Acro Yoga a go for the first time, and even though it was challenging, the instructors made it really fun and supportive. I also couldn’t resist the Dube Buggie,Laser Clay and Grass Sledging— were great and added some fun competition to the festival.
After four years of coming back, I love how the festival keeps getting better. The Bollywood Dance was high-energy and got everyone moving, and the Talent Show was full of amazing performances!
as other continue tradiotions of handing out trinket theyve made that eventuall will all get attached to my wildfire jacker, I also continued my tradition of handing out glow sticks during the festival turns out I'm now known as Glow Stick Girl on weekend 2! It’s always fun to see chat with everyone when I hand them out.
All in all, another fantastic year! I left feeling super inspired and can’t wait for next year. This festival is definitely one of my favorite events to look forward to every year!
Avoid boutique camping
This was my 2nd year at CWF, both times in boutique camping. I would love to give a higher star rating, but this is an overall experience which was heavilly impacted by the camping side of the weekend. Whilst the hosts were great, the activities plentiful, food was fantastic and the entertainment varied and fab, the boutique side of life was a huge disappointment this year. Unlike last year, where the boutique area was a place to escape to for peace and quiet, a calm area, between the hubbub and wonderful chaos, this year the noise from the centrecamp stage travelled through deafeningly destroying any chance of peace or sleep. The cafe in the area has changed and the terrible service along with dreadful food and extremely limited choices was another huge disappointment. The reduced amount of toilets, which are a hike away from the bar, cafe, seating area made no sense given the extra tents and pods this year, and the different showers without anywhere to hang anything, no shelves and no attendant this year was another let down. The kitchen area was non existent until enough people complained it was missing, understandably it couldn't be left out in the rain, but it didnt reappear in one of the side tents until several complaints were made. The fire attendant on the first night claimed she'd had no training or briefing and was told to just "be there" so spent the entire evening ignoring her position in favour of flirting with a stag party who were causing riots and trying to score drugs all night, she never enforced the boundaries of the fire while they were balancing on them, in fact she joined in whilst leaving the fire to almost go out until we took over and added more logs.
Another disappointment about boutique is that, despite gaining access from midday, there's no access to centrecamp until the evening opening ceremony, meaning no access to events going on such as the cheese fest, nothing laid on for boutique camping, not even any board games like there are in centrecamp bar areas, so with inedible food that has been laft uncovered all day, all thats left to do is drink, theres insufficient seating too.
And as for the young woman on the entrance checking bags, she wreaked of alcohol and found it her duty to open everything within our bags including pulling out underwear, make up and medications, which she took a great interest in, all very disturbing indeed, even her counterpart who had to try repacking the bags was clearly embarrassed. Whilst there is a need for security, this was way over the top and had little to do with making sure no alcohol was being sneaking in, I mean how many bottles of booze could I fit in my mascara or epi pen?!
Two of my friends gave up and booked themselves into a local B&B after the first night as they couldn't take a second or third night of all this, I left Sunday as I wasnt prepared to risk a third night. Such a shame that an otherwise fantastic event is ruined by this, especially given the cost of the boutique camping, we each paid between £800-£1000 onto of our tickets for the 'luxury of boutique camping and that's what it was like.
We and many others complained to concierge, sadly its beyond their control, they escalated it and were told that someone would be in touch with each of us, that never happened, nobody bothered, so I emailed my complaint and was offered a bottle of prosecco, how about that for an insult!
Yes I will return next year for the festival and activities, but I have booked a B&B nearby, not exactly the 'camp' wildfire experience it should be, but as I said the letdown was not the actual event, but the highly overpriced and overated boutique camping.
Generally a Goid Experience
This is my second visit to Camp Wildfire and the general experience is great.
However my two grips are;
1) The ridiculous time it takes to check in. For me it was an hour for others 3 hours. Not a good start to a weekend.
2) The fact that most of the popular sessions are always taken up and to get on booking.
These are the two reasons I doubt I will return in 2026.
But overall the experience is very good.
Absolutely amazing experience
I have never disconnected from the dumpster fire that is our world as much as I did at Camp Wildfire. It was magical. This is the happiest place on earth
I’ve been lucky enough to go to Camp…
I’ve been lucky enough to go to Camp Wildfire two years in a row now, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough.
The first year I came alone and was a little nervous, but I was blown away by how welcoming and friendly everyone was. This year I brought two friends along and they both agreed—it’s absolutely fantastic. In fact, all three of us have already booked again for next year!
One standout experience for me this time was the ice bath. I panicked at first and wasn’t sure I’d manage it, but the instructor was so professional, kind, and reassuring that he really helped me stay calm. What started out as something scary turned into a brilliant and empowering moment I’ll never forget.
From the daytime adventures to the evenings around the campfires, the energy, organisation, and atmosphere are just perfect. Camp Wildfire has this amazing way of making you feel free, playful, and connected—like stepping into another world for the weekend.
If you’re thinking about going—do it. You’ll come away with unforgettable memories, new friends, and already counting down the days until the next one!
What a fabulous adventure from begining…
What a fabulous adventure from begining to end. From the activities during the day, the partying in the evening, the people, the dressing up, the friendly competition, the location, everything. It was superb. And small enough to keep bumping into new friends.
Imagine a beautiful forest strung with…
Imagine a beautiful forest strung with lights and in it the most uplifting, JOYOUS, friendly, fun, BONKERS, relaxing, energizing, wonder filled days and nights.. this is “Camp Wildfire” and you may end up with face ache from smiling so much! Everything from the wonderful humans taking part to the ethos of what this festival is about.. is OUTSTANDING! Combining over 50 daytime activities to take part in (from blacksmithing to trapeze skills, Drag Queens teaching drawing, Japanese tie-dying, Bollywood and Swing Dance lessons, African Choir singing, so many great activities, interesting talks, music (from their own radio station), comedy acts in the auditorium, more dancing than I have done in years (bands and DJ’s) magical environment, games tent, firepits, bars, excellent food trucks, and so many friendly people and you have the adventure filled JOYOUS experience that was Wildfire. We have booked our next years tickets AND will be bringing more friends next year. So MANY wonder-filled moments and memories made and I honestly feel so energised and grateful that we have discovered this treasure of a festival.
Ps. We Glamped for the first time ever and it was worth every penny. Honestly fabulous. Thanks to everyone involved in the making of this epic experience. See you next year! Pink. xx
Pure magic!
I’ve been five years in a row and it gets better each year! It’s really magical and so much fun, and definitely much more relaxed and less grotty than your usual festival! I love the activities and the vibe.
The Most Amazing Summer Camp for Adults
Been attending Camp now for 4yrs & it just gets better every year. I always look forward to it & bring new badgers with me ( there are 4patrols, badger being the best! 😉) I don't take pics as i'm too busy having fun! But you only have to look on social media to SEE how incredible this place is. There really isn't a place quite like it. Proper flushing toilets, hot showers, gorgeous street food, great games, amazing activities & extraordinary people to chat round the campfire with...... PLUS good music & drink what more could one possibly want? A comfy bed in a gorgeous big tent? Oh---- They have those too!!! If I could give this place 10* i would! You just HAVE to attend at least once in your lifetime & i can guarantee it won't be your last!
Camp Wildfire not just for youngsters
My old school friend and I are 64, fit and healthy women. We went to Camp Wildfire for the first time this year as we were attracted by all the activities and the opportunities to dance and watch comedians. We choose to do bread baking, tree climbing, pyrography, Lino printing, and slack lining all within our ticket price. We paid extra to use the spa facilities as well. A hot tub under the trees, wonderful. We originally signed up for mindfulness but we were so chilled that we needed more excitement and did free swing dancing and hilarious free cockney bingo. We chose not to join a patrol or do any patrol games but we still had the best time. The other people were just so friendly. Loads of people go alone and everyone chats to everyone else immediately that you sit on a bench or go to a group activity. There was also a campfire to sit round each night. There were different music types to dance to. (naturally we chose Girlie pop). I would recommend it to anyone and I am just explaining that if you are put off by the patrol stuff just don’t do it. It’s not compulsory. We watched a lot of and the parades and it looked great fun. We have already signed up for next year and may well join a patrol then. The best things are the activities. The activities and the people. The activities and the people and the dancing. And the spa. You get the idea. The founders also did a live Q&A the week before which really showed how much they care and how they want you to be happy.
What an unforgettable weekend at Camp…
What an unforgettable weekend at Camp Wildfire! From dune buggying and burlesque to floral crown making, aerial hoop, The Traitors, cocktail mixology and dancing the night away every single moment was amazing. The variety of activities meant there was always something exciting to try, and the atmosphere was incredible throughout.
The absolute highlight for me was the people so many friendly, fun faces who made me feel instantly at home. I’ve never felt so comfortable at a festival before, and that sense of community really set Camp Wildfire apart.
I came away with amazing memories, new friends, and a huge smile. I couldn’t recommend it more!
It's hard to explain the magic of Camp…
It's hard to explain the magic of Camp Wildfire. It's completely and utterly brilliant and unlike anything else I've ever been to. There's an amazing camp spirit, energy and camaraderie, especially amongst your chosen patrols (Who's nuts?! Deez nuts!). And the whole event is like being a big kid again, spending your weekend trying all sorts of fun activities and finding that escape away from the day to day. I've tried all sorts over my 4 years so far from aerial silks to extreme ice creams. And then you can make your camp whatever you choose, from chilling at the spa and campfire, playing cosy board games or hitting the dance floor. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Camp Wildfire. It brings out the big kid in everyone. And that's something to be cherished.
Well organised
Well organised. Friendly staff and vendors. Clean throughout
Camp Wildfire is truly unlike any other…
Camp Wildfire is truly unlike any other festival I’ve ever been to — it’s summer camp for adults, and it’s pure magic from start to finish.
This was my third year attending, and it somehow keeps getting better. The mix of activities, patrol games, food, parties, and that iconic forest setting makes it the perfect escape from everyday life.
This year I threw myself into so much: sign language, Afrobeats, Bollywood dance, screen printing, mask making, swing dance, aerial hoop, extreme ice cream making and even cocktail mixology! By day it’s about learning new skills and laughing your way through patrol games, and by night it transforms into wild forest parties, dancing in the rain, acoustic sets by the fire, and fireworks under the stars.
The food was brilliant (I definitely ate more ice cream than I should have 🍦😂), the community is always welcoming (definitely a great festival for solo campers!), and the atmosphere is unbeatable.
If you’re looking for more than just another festival — if you want adventure, creativity, connection, and a chance to play like a kid again — Camp Wildfire is for you. I’ve already booked my tickets for 2026!
Amazing weekend
Amazing weekend! So much fun to be had, with so many activities to choose from 🫶Absolutely loved it and defo back next year! A great mixture of activities, laughter and music … what more could you want. Great selection of catering choices and most seemed very reasonably priced also.
