Just ok- some highs some lows.

Our luggage was on time and waiting for us!!!

CAMINO ways organised our itinerary and accommodation for our Camino im so glad they did they were very helpful and made our camino experience all the more enjoyable. They were excellent

Everything went like clockwork. Made the whole experience very enjoyable and trouble free.

We had an incident at the Hotel in Padron with one of our luggage. We have copied all emails with the Hotel Pazo de Lestrove and no one individual from your organization had the time to contact us and offer some help with the incident.
Also, we paid for the transfer of this and after it was stolen, at least you should give us some credit.
We will not recommended a company that do not helpmhis customer during difficult times.

Everything went to plan. The accommodation was great with good wholesome food and plenty of it! The bags were delivered seamlessly from one hotel to the next and the location of each hotel was lovely.

The only thing that was an issue was the description of the blue trail coastal walk from Finisterre to Lires. It was challenging with steep climbs and descents with poor signage and no stops along the way. We had to ration our water! It took 7 hours and was over 20km with the climbs and descents rather than the advertised 16km. If we had known we would have chosen the red route!

We had a wonderful experience with CaminoWays on our Camino from Muxía via Finisterre to Santiago de Compostela.

From the very beginning, everything was extremely well organised. The personalised information available on the website was particularly useful, giving us all the practical details we needed for each stage of the journey and making us feel well prepared without having to spend time researching every detail ourselves.

The luggage transfer service was impeccable. Every day, our bags were collected and delivered exactly as expected, always waiting for us when we arrived. It may sound like a small detail, but when you are walking day after day, knowing that the logistics are completely taken care of makes an enormous difference.

The accommodation throughout the journey was good and comfortable, and the meals included in our package were perfectly fine. Most importantly, everything worked seamlessly. We had no problems, no unpleasant surprises and no need to contact anyone to sort things out along the way.

That reliability allowed us to forget about logistics and simply experience the Camino — the walking, the landscapes, the conversations, the challenges and those special moments that make the journey so memorable.

Looking back, I realise that one of the best things I can say about CaminoWays is that we hardly had to think about the organisation at all. Everything simply worked.

I would happily choose CaminoWays again and recommend them without hesitation to anyone who wants to experience the Camino with the reassurance that all the practical details are in very capable hands.

Great variety of accommodation that is both clean and comfortable considering location and availability. Staff and service in accommodation are also generally helpful. Camino Ways relieves the stress of doing the job of arranging all the details.

Great restaurants along the way. Walking distances are longer then posted

This was organised suoerbly by Camino Ways with excellent accommodation and a briliiant bag forwarding service. Outstanding.

My partner and I are not good at planning things together. Add in the last minute nature of our trip (1 month before departure), and the realization that we would be booking >10 different hotels in >10 different towns plus bikes plus luggage transfer -- yikes. CaminoWays was fast, easy, and worth every penny! Everything worked out perfectly: bikes, luggage transfer, hotels, even some meals. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Luggage was transferred with no issues. Accommodations were very good. Meals for the most part were also good.

Nice hotels great breakfast , excellent customer service

Barebones service of just booking hotels and luggage transfer. Nothing more. CaminoWays changed the final days of my itinerary after I paid for their services, turning what I booked as one short day (for rest) and two medium days into two short days and one long day. It seems that CW couldn’t find accommodations in Atapuerca so I had to end the day’s walk 7 km earlier. Had I known, I would have not paid for three days walk and just walked for two. They were reluctant to pay for transferring me from my original end town but they later agreed. I paid out of pocket for the next day’s transfer back to Atapuerca. Other companies would have simply provided those transfers as the contract would have been to honor the evening stage towns as booked. Overall, the accommodations for the 14 day package were adequate and comfortable. Unfortunately one “three-star” hotel did not provide an electric fan (unlike others with no A/C) and the room was stiflingly hot; I left window open that evening and ended up with mosquito bites. Not recommending to 8 friends doing the Camino next year

Several of the hotels were not great, but adequate.
Was aghast at the paper we saw off trails where people had used the environment as a toilet. How about signs to tell people to pick up their waste or suffer consequences.

Liked: The staff was friendly and really tried to help. It was good to have everything arranged for me, have them take my luggage
and have a number to call (?)if there was a problem, although tgey said it should be tge ' local numbers' and I was not sure which ones they were. Tgey did provide some tips as well, for example take 2 buses from Santiago Airport to Sarria ( Lugo, then Sarria) Easy to find and cheap. You may have to wait for half an hour between the two, but I thought it was worth it.
Didn't like: I initially had an email from a lady ( Mary?) She said she was now going to look after me...but then someone else took over. I never understood the role of the initial person.
I asked for the 28 km day to be split in two and thought that implied staying in X.
They arranged for me to stay in X, but this actually meant splitting the previous, shorter day. The distances indicated between the locations are not really clear, especially on a print out. So be careful about that.
Also, they charged £180 ( or €180, can't remember) extra for that change. Given that the hostel they put me up in costs around £50 to stay and food is not that expensive either ( I had dinner and breakfast), that seems somewhat over the top. I was told it is a 'package', so the price has to be looked at as a whole.
In the end I added another night in Santiago to have some leeway, so they changed my hotel. They sent another itinerary on some occasion but never said they changed the last hotel where I stayed 2 nights in the end.
They obviously also did not inform the luggage transfer company either, so I did not get my bigger rucksack on arrival in Santiago.
I had to wait until later in the afternoon for the hotel to acknowledge that something had gone wrong. I thought it was marked correctly on the bag, the hotel thought it was not. Anyhow, my bag arrived after a short while once They called the luggage transfer company.
One of the hotels ( in Portomarin) was really nice, the rest were average or slightly odd, and on two aoccasions ( Sarria and' Amenal/ Pedrouzo) quite out of the way.
Food was better and more ' local' in some places than others. I do not consider Lasagne, Pizza or fish and chips as local.
But then I am peschatarian ( don't eat meat) which seems to exclude most local dishes.

This was my first time on the "Camino", and I can see the pros, and cons of having thigs pre- organised for you. There are many hostels, and they can be booked a day or so in advance. This implies yiu just walk ay far as you wish anx tgen stay somewhere, and eat whst you like. But of course pre- booking is safer, esp in August on the Sarria to Santiago track where 2 paths merge together, and many big groups walk that way.
