Our smart meter was installed quickly and efficiently although only at the third attempt after the first two appointments were cancelled by Calisen with very little warning and after we had arranged to stay in (twice) to facilitate installation. After the meter was installed we received three e-mails to say that we shouldn’t contact Ecotricity as the monitoring device would be set up on their system. After a month I contacted Ecotricity to ask why it still wasn’t working and the issue was resolved the next day - clearly we had been overlooked!

Engineer was on time but delayed as meter serial numbers did not tally. Installation completed quickly and without issue. The indoor monitor does not read the gas meter and is therefore of very limited use.

I can't fault the guys who came round . However I lost money on my meter when I transferred from a key to online top up. Now I have to prove I had money on there which I can't.

Very poor service, had an appointment to fit a smart meter on a Monday, was given a 4 hour window of when they would arrive, took the morning off work, waited around for 3hours 50 mins then got a phone call to say they couldn't make it, rebooked it for following Friday, same thing happened, waited around for nearly 4 hours only to get a phone call to say they couldn't make it. No proper explanation, wanted me to rebook it again in about 3 weeks time, how do I know same thing won't happen again, useless cowboys. I've got better things to do than wait around for 4 hours again not knowing if they're going bother to turn up or not so told them to stick it.

The company did not advised regarding the right time frame when changing electricity and gas meter , moreover that said that time frame 1200-16.00 was given only as an estimation and if the engineer would arrive at 15.45 he would be entitled to carry out the work for another 4, 5 hours. I could not believe how disrespectful and dishonest for my time they were. The engineer was unprofessional, very slow, like skiving and when reported to Calisen here and there, they just defended him, that he was entitled to use his phone . Please do not go with this company, I had high blood pressure and they are not interested to be honest and admit when they are wrong . They took advantage of my good faith to do the work in many ways.

Fantastic engineer, who told me about every step. Explained what was going on. Showed me how the in home monitor worked and set it up. Solid work and also had a chat about future expansions for when I might want Electric car charger as well as other things like fuse capacity that while not problematic, might be worth fixing when I get electric charger work done. All in all, was quick efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend Calisen. Kept to schedule and a re-plan for dates was done in advance and I was kept informed.

The installation went well enough, but then I was told that the installer didn't have the internal display, but I would receive it within a week. Nothing happened and it took several phone calls and a few weeks before I finally received the in house display.
