Over-priced poor quality food.

My girlfriends mother came to visit and we decided to try mauritz in Sønderborg.

We first of all were annoyed at the confusing brunch ordering system. choose 5 of the many items and try to remember them in your head. Wouldve been better with a piece of paper to mark off the items.

None-the-less, the food was the real disappointing part. The eggs were tasteless, no salt and pepper on the table. So had to ask for that. We got yoghurt with our breakfast. No spoon to eat it with, had to ask for that. Which didn't even matter in the end cause the yoghurt had such a disgusting texture we didn't want to eat it.

Additionally, we both ordered fried fish with the brunch and fried fish as a lunch meal (stjerneskud). The fish should have been gold brown. As fried fish normally is. The wash soggy and LITERALLY white. As if they threw it on the pan for 10 seconds and called it a day.

After we payed we complained about the terrible food quality, but the young teenagers running the place didnt really care. They are just there for a paycheck.

All-in-all, i live right across the street from mauritz in Sønderborg. I will assure that i never step foot into that cafe again and when all friends and family come to visit i will ASSURE that we NEVER choose marutiz.

Awesome staff and brilliant food

Fast service but that was the only appreciative thing about them.
The food was poor.
We'd ordered a mighty bc where the meat was grey. This indicates the poor quality of the beef and how a big percentage was fat.
A chicken salad where the grilled chicken wasn't a breast piece but inner fillets. On the menu it said "served with vinaigrette" but on my plate was sweet chilisauce..
The salad wasn't mixed. It was vegetables and chicken on a plate.

Nam nam noget mad man får hos Mauritz, super engagerede ansatte, meget høflig og viser interesse for deres kunder, lækkert serveret mad, kan varmt anbefales
