I bought one big set and 2 smaller sets with various Easter style chocolate for my 4 children.
I panicked when I got the email saying they could be delivered after Easter weekend as I didn’t select quicker delivery so I popped them a message and the guys dispatched the items that day and they arrived via dpd the following day! Amazing service and price. Will recommend to anyone!
Shame
Quickly shipped but a shame it arrived badly smashed to bits. Packaging was intact but a rather sad Cadbury gift that I gave
No guaranteed delivery date
I ordered and paid for a hamper and paid the extra £6.95 for Shipping Method to Select a Date with Guaranteed Delivery.
The date I selected was Thursday 05-12-24 The recipients Birthday.
The parcel was delivered on Saturday 30-11-24 and not even to the stipulated address but to a neighbour despite people being in the delivery address.
I was extremely disappointed and annoyed by the service. The chat bot on the site is useless and sends you round and round in circles.
Disgusting service
After a wonderful experience I decided to try again, I ordered a Happy Birthday Bar as it was in sale £10 and I also used me rewards discount, after filling in the details I pressed pay It would not process ? This was a weekend so on Monday I went back to see if me payment would go through to find that the chocolate had increased by £3, and then my order disappeared along with my rewards, I’m disgusted that such a reputable company would stoop so low, and before they say it wasn’t on special - I have a photo, also I did a live chat and I’m sure it wasn’t a real person although they did say their name was Fran - what a waste of time
Poor call handlers
Poor call handlers. After trying to order items for two days I decided to call. The operator told me that I needed to refresh my page. I told her I had tried for two days on different devices. She said tough. I asked if I can order on the phone to be told no and refresh the page again. I said I'd order elsewhere, and she said ok then! Honestly, surely her job is based on sales support. I just wanted to buy a gift hamper. Disappointed.

I am wondering what the purpose of the current birthday advert is . i.e intially a bar or chocolate with an old fashioned cadburys wrapper is seen then it cuts to a modern day wrapper . baffling
This company and their products are very poor
This company and their products are very poor. Do not buy from them. I ordered a build a house chocolate kit for my nephew for Xmas. When he opened it every single bar was shattered into lots of pieces making it impossible to build the house. It was purposely bought as he loves building.
He told me about this a few weeks after Christmas and had since out of disappointment ate some of the broken bars as there was little else that could be done with them.
I contacted the customer services of this company and explained the damage and disappointment and they refused to assist unless I sent photos of all the broken bars. As he had eaten a bit this was not possible. I could have lied and sent them photos of any broken chocolate bars but this is not my nature. Honesty counts for nothing with this company. Stay well clear.

Ordered a personalised Fathers Day bar. It arrived damaged. They asked for a picture and then sent out a replacement immediately. A+ customer service!

When I chased up on 5th April, they emailed to say they couldn't find my order, were now sold out anyway & so would refund my money. Not really useful 2 days before Easter holiday! I order chocolates from this company fairly regularly and always get good service , I recently ordered some chocolates for Valentines and my advisor ; Susan Tonks was particularly efficient , friendly and helpful.

I bought 300 personalised chocolates for an event, and it was an absolute hit. The service was first class and the individuals very helpful. There were complications, as I had to deliver to two different venues, but everything arrived on time and in perfect condition. I was double charged due to a technical error, but this was rectified promptly. Becky Dobson was extremely helpful and got everything sorted out straight away.

Excellent Customer Service
Ordered two chocolate gifts for my husband for a special Birthday. One box arrived (two days later than informed by email from delivery company ) Box No 2 was missing. Delivery company as much use as a chocolate fireguard so contacted Cadbury customer services. Excellent service from Amanda, kept me informed at all times concerning the order and even refunded the postage due to late delivery. Goodies excellent too, so one very happy husband.
I ordered four chocolate Easter…
I ordered four chocolate Easter Cottages for my children. They opened them to build them up and in every box was at least one broken bar of chocolate. Because it was a cottage the bars needed to be in tact. I contacted customer service and Susan totally understood my complaint and dealt with it exceptionally quickly.
I have left 5 stars because I cannot fault the customer service.

I placed two separate orders, one of which arrived as expected but the other disappeared into the ether.
Amanda managed to locate the order details and arrange for delivery the next day. Just the kind of customer service we all want but so rarely get. Well done and thank you Amanda.
Surprises ruined …
The gifts are good but unfortunately the packaging has ruined 2 surprises now. They don’t disguise the contents and it’s written all over it. The Mother’s Day surprise had it written on the box. Won’t be ordering again.
I ordered a chocolate gift online
I ordered a chocolate gift online. But somewhere along the line there was a technical error & it appeared my order hadn't been successful. So I rang through, explained to a lovely operator to see what had happened. She said the order hadn't been placed. I asked her if she could order it for me,which she did.
When I checked my credit card online I had been charged twice. As it was Sunday & the phone is not answered I emailed.
And they were amazing. They stopped the second order & refunded me immediately.
So amazing customer service. But website a little confusing. My friend was really pleased with the gift & delivery was excellent.
Cadbury Direct special orders
Ordered a Big Birthday bar of chocolate for a family member.. ordering process was really easy and the gift was to be personalised; all went through OK and a delivery date was set. It didn’t arrive, but as it was the the weekend I left it until the Monday to raise a query (via a link on the website). Amanda responded instantly and without further questions ordered a replacement and refunded the delivery charge (which I though was a little steep to start with, but that’s another matter). The replacement arrived the day after and the refund has been honoured. Amanda kept me informed every step of the way so a “big thank you” to her.
I would say that putting Cadbury Direct on the outer package may lead to these items going “missing” as it’s pretty obvious that the parcel contains chocolate.. no proof and not accusing anyone, but just a thought!
