We have been customers of C & A Plastics for many years. They are a very helpful company. Their products are excellent. Customer service is brilliant. Aftersales is also very good. They stock a wide range of products and will obtain anything not currently in their warehouse as soon as is possible.

The roofing sheets I bought were good quality, arrived quickly and the delivery driver was friendly. Customer service helped get me the sizes I needed. I would use again.

They need to make some instructions available for York roof system that I had. The video I was told to watch is pretty useless and for a different roof system. the Peak roof and that is very different.. Hopeless. Trying to put the roof together blind took so long trying to sort what went where and which way up Etc. Not a good experience. When you spend a Grand on a roof it is not much to ask. They send an unnecessary catalogue so no more paper involved. Not worth spending your money till they address this. Very disappointed.

Once you have bought a product you are on your own no warranties honoured. Fortex cladding burns in reflected sunlight from adjacent window. They seemed to well versed in the issue and assumed I was after a warranty claim when all I needed was assistance in removing what we thought was a brown stain.

C&A building products focused on the cladding butting up without a trim as a reason for not honouring warranty or offering advice when clearly the issue is that Fortex cladding, install adjacent to a window on a south facing aspect, reflected light scorches the surface! Reflected sunlight the only heat source and the cavity the cladding is installed to is well ventilated. Fortex cladding company freefoam not interested in the slightest. No help from customer service and technical ignored my request for help via email.

When securing an IKEA wardrobe to the wall, they put screws straight through the wall and left the screws sticking out the other side. They also did a really rough job cutting a hole in the back of the wardrobe for a power point. It looks terrible.

Possibly my worst experience of any service used.

Breif: provide full access to chimney for pointing with hoist

1st attempt: No kick boards, no barrier/safety rail, nothing to stop you or tools falling, boards not secured, full access impossible, no hoist, ladder did not extend above platform, poles with no protection rubbing against brickwork causing damage

After a freindly site manager condemned this as suicidally unsafe, I request alterations which was immediately met with animosity. A later apology after repeated appeals resulted in guys turning up unannounced for a 2nd attempt

2nd attempt: kick boards and fence installed, longer ladder fitted, parts of the flashing could only be reached at arms length, poles not protected, however 2nd tier installed meant I could now reach work areas, still no hoist

I had to request the assistance of someone who had no fear of heights who deemed fit to exit the structure to complete the intended works

Deinstallation again came unannounced, happened whilst I was out. Had to replace 3 damaged concrete tiles. 6 months later we had to have our foul draineage unblocked, the cause: a large peice of slate (impossible to have been anything other than placed deliberately) that did not exist in the surrounding area (had to've been brought from elsewhere). These lads were the only people who had any access to the inspection chamber in question.

Draw your own conclusions.

I would not use these guys again if my life or house depended on it.

Have used on and off for a few years now.. this morning my son and I were dealt with and spoken to disgustingly. Firstly, we were left at the counter whilst the salesperson went and sulked in his office (because we asked for a written quote) and secondly was rude, abusive, and very negative when we asked to be served again. Reported to customer service as I’m sure cctv capture his attitude towards us but no reply

4.25 x 3.5 car port. Excellent value for money, easy to erect and looks fantastic.
Delivered by C and A’ driver Gary who was excellent in keeping us informed about delivery and full of knowledge about the product and a great ambassador for the company.

Met at back gate ( which was the entrance when I last shopped there ) by Chris he walked me round to where the entrance was. Very friendly and helpful. Carried the boards I purchased to my car. Can’t praise highly enough. Thank you Chris and C& A

Had to write a review! The product I bought was great quality and an excellent price. Delivery was super fast and the goods arrived in perfect condition. The driver was a very happy chatty guy, off loaded with care and gave advice. Nice to be greeted with a smile. I would not hesitate to recommend and will most definitely use them again in the future.

The store/company called to discuss the order and availability of the products, friendly polite and honest staff.
The delivery driver was amazing (I believe his name was Gary), he helped my partner on both occasions with the delivery and polite, friendly service! Thank you.
In short C & A building products offer great quality products and fantastic service from start to finish.
The one disappointing part, is I am limited to how many times I would use the company.

Dreadful Company. Delivered shoddy goods. Two items faulty. Because I didn't notice one was faulty within 72 hours, refused to give me a refund. I really don't think that's the way to treat customers.

Very helpful staff. Have used before and will definitely be using them again.

First time I have used C&A, but basis my excellent experience I will be using them again. They have an excellent range of products at competitive pricing. Ordering was easy enough and expectations were well managed by good transparency on delivery times, given the Covid issues. Ordered on a Monday, expecting to get the goods the following week. Got a call on Thursday advising my delivery was due on the Friday morning - ideal. Came on their own vehicle, with a very friendly and helpful driver. Great service all round!!

Good products, well wrapped and friendly delivery. Some items were out of stock due to manufacturing delays (apparently, some virus going round :-) ) - they allowed me to add more items to the order (several times) while waiting for the second part of the delivery.

Very friendly staff - one spent time passing on some tips on how to install it - one of which has been fantastically useful - drill through the board and into the existing sofit - saved me at least one box of nails!

Highly recommended.

We visited the Gillingham branch as we wanted to purchase some cladding but wanted to see the colours available. We met Jamie P, who was extremely knowledgeable about the product and was able to answer our questions and also gave recommendations regarding the fitting. We then sent Jamie our outbuilding dimensions, so that he could double check our calculations before we placed our order, as we did not want to over order. When we placed our order we spoke to someone else, who was as equally helpful. Once the date came through for delivery, we emailed and asked for a morning slot, and this was agreed quickly. The delivery driver was very pleasant. We have fitted the cladding and it looks superb. Everyone we dealt with at C&A was helpful, we would not hesitate in recommending this company to others. Keep up the good work Gillingham, you have been a pleasure to deal with.

I have used this company on a number of occassions and alway find them helpful. On the last occassion I dropped part of the order when loading the car. Telephoned and a member of staff went out to the car park found them and them posted them to me. That is when you know if a company is good or not when its staff deal efficiently with customers. Thanks, on this occassion, to the Gillingham team.

I ordered some cladding from C&A (Gillingham). I received really good service from Craig.

I was notified that some of my order was out of stock so I emailed to ask for more information.

Craig called me and was so helpful. He ran me through the options, took photographs of alternative items (as I needed them quickly), looked through a new delivery to see if my order could be fulfilled, gave me tips on how to install the cladding etc. etc. Craig was really friendly and never gave the impression that anything was too much trouble.

I was so impressed; I feel compelled to say so. I thought good customer service was a thing of the past, but this experience has proved me wrong!
