Wowee, just found my piece of heaven on earth , its called Bwlch Bryn, caravan park , perfect place to unwind....off the beaten track , but close enough to all amenities. Service from start to finish was excellent, couldn't fault it , can't wait to meet other caravaners on the site, will be spending a lot of time here, that's for sure. Connie & Keith

Bwlch Bryn is a small very well run site in a sheltered wooded valley on the edge of Penrhyndeudraeth village. It is immaculately maintained by the resident wardens Alan and Justine who are always attentive to the requirements of the residents, and instantly available to deal with any emergencies.
The location of the site is convenient for Penrhyndeudraeth with its well stocked stores and Post Office, cafes and pubs, and it is within easy reach of nearby Ffestiniog Railway Station and Portmeirion village.
The nearby town of Porthmadog with its pretty harbour enjoys a very pleasant, warm mini-climate which allows holiday makers the opportunity to enjoy the famous Black Rock Sands beach with its easy parking.
We have had a static van here for 8 years and consider ourselves very fortunate to have been able to secure a place on this exceptional site.
The other residents, many of whom have been here for many years, are very friendly and it creates a very warm hospitable atmosphere in which to spend holidays

We've owned a caravan at Bwlch Bryn Caravan Site for over 40 years and, as such, clearly love spending our free time there.
We're on our 3rd caravan now, and the purchasing process has always been seemless and hassle free. It's very reassuring to know that there's no upper age limit on the caravans, which takes away the worry of having to replace your caravan every so many years.
It's a well maintained, family-friendly site which we find both peaceful and relaxing. Its location is such that it offers something for everyone.
We also love the fact that only friends and family are allowed to use the caravans. This means that the site maintains a secure and friendly feeling about it.
Our three children have grown up with us regularly visiting Bwlch Bryn and they themselves now travel there to spend time at the park.
Away from the site there are many small towns and villages within a relatively short drive, offering a multitude of things to do, to spend quality time together.
If you love wildlife and the outdoors you'll be spoilt for choice, with a plethora of stunning mountains, beautiful beaches and many forests to spend your time exploring.
The communication from the site owners, Jon, Becky and Hazel, is regular and informative. This can be particularly reassuring during any bad weather in the winter months.
As such, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bwlch Bryn Caravan Site to anyone considering purchasing a caravan there. In our opinion, it's a decision you certainly won't regret.

We can’t recommend Bwlch Bryn Caravan Site highly enough! This lovely, quaint site of privately owned static caravans is truly a hidden gem. It’s small, impeccably clean, and perfectly positioned – just a short walk into Penrhyndeudraeth for local shops and amenities, and within walking distance of beautiful Portmeirion. Porthmadog, Borth-y-Gest, Blackrock Sands, Harlech, and Criccieth are all just a short drive away, making it the ideal base for exploring both the mountains and the coast of Snowdonia National Park.

The site itself is quiet, peaceful, and very well run. It’s been family-owned for 40 years, and it really shows – everything is kept incredibly tidy, and the on-site wardens are friendly and welcoming. We were especially reassured by how many long-term owners we met; some have been here for 30 years or more and spoke so positively about the community.

One of the big positives for us was that there’s no age restriction on caravans – unlike some other sites in the area. After doing our homework, we didn’t hesitate to buy a brand-new static in a beautiful position on the site. For us, it was investing in a lifestyle. We love coming here whenever we can between March and October; it’s become our perfect little home from home where we can truly relax and escape the stresses of daily life.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-kept, and friendly owners only caravan site in a stunning location, we’d 100% recommend Bwlch Bryn. It really is the best of both worlds – mountains and coast – all tucked away just enough to feel like your own private retreat.

We bought a brand new caravan on this caravan park three years ago, the purchasing process was simple and straightforward, the site owners made the settling in process really easy, they have preferred proven suppliers for all requirements, from tv connections to decking installation and for routine maintenance like gas safety checks and winter drain downs.
One of the plus points for us is that the site doe not have an age limit on the caravan, other sites insist you renew your caravan when it reaches a certain age.
The on-site wardens keep the park in excellent condition and provide a sense of security as they are “keeping on eye things” they are extremely friendly and helpful.
The park itself is quiet and ideally situated just outside Porthmadog with shops, pubs and restaurants local to the site.
The site owners regularly communicate with updates and news, it’s always nice to know that there has been no damage to the caravan after a severe storm or high winds.

If you are looking to buy, an already set up static caravan, or need to site your static caravan at one of the best sites in North Wales - look no further than Bwlch Bryn Caravan Site.
Ideally located in a quiet wooded glade, this smaller family run, owners only site, is situated between Minffordd and Penrhyndeudraeth and so is ideal for the local attractions.
These include the Ffestiniog and Highland Steam Railways, Porthmadog, Borth y Gest, Harlech, Portmeiron and the Snowdonia National Park. Further afield are the resorts of Barmouth, Pwllheli and Abersoch.
We found Bwlch Bryn in 2012 when we wanted a quiet site for my new static caravan in 2012 and we have been very happy ever since.
We wanted a secure, good value and well run and kept smaller site, with no bar or clubhouse and caring ‘hands on’ owners.
This is what Jon and Becky, the owners and Allan and Justine, the wardens have consistently delivered.
We never tire of the walks, attractions, beaches and restaurants and look forward to each of our visits knowing that our caravan is secure and well looked after.
100% recommendation from us and no doubt the same from the other caravan owners.

Stayed in friend’s caravan this spring. This site is great! Love that it’s just 5 mins from Porthmadog and maybe 10 mins from main beach. It’s quiet, pretty and friendly and kept in great condition. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something different to the big commercial sites!
