Booking number provided but no flights
My time is generally too valuable and I am generally an easy going person about honest mistakes. But this company is an absolute joke. I booked tickets for 3 people, paid, received confirmation numbers. This was done 4 months before departure. Luckily I reached out to them 3 weeks in advance to ask if they book my seats or if I should reach out the airline. Because when I did, they told me they were confused by the uniqueness of my name and didn't bother actually booking anything because of it. If I hadn't reached out to them I would have shown up at the airport with a booking number but no tickets during the Christmas rush. They literally did not care at all when they told me I didn't actually have any tickets. Stay away from this company at all costs. Spend an extra $100-$200 for a legitimate company.

This compagny is a scam. The same thing happened to us. We ask for information about a change of tickets as we bought an option to be able to change. We finally did not change because it was too expensive. I fought everything was good. When I tried to check in I discovered, there was no more reservation on air canada and latam website. They don’t answer the phone to assist. It is a total scam. The result is ou vacation completely ruined. the can’t be trusted.

If I can give them zero stars, I would. Booked a flight with them because they’re offering it at a much cheaper fare in google flights. They sent me the ticket and itinerary which I thought was good. The next day, my wife sent them an email asking them about something. The next day after the inquiry, they cancelled our flights. Called their customer service and they said that the airlines cancelled our flight. Called the airlines company and they stated on their end that buymytrip cancelled our flights. 2 weeks passed by, with us trying to have them reinstate our flights but all they do is promising us that they are going to take care of it and their manager to call us. On our final call, one of their agents started blaming us that the reason our tickets got cancelled us is because we sent them an email for inquiry. The agent stated that their “system” cancelled us because we sent them an inquiry, to which I replied “ so isn’t that your own company system? And is it illegal to send an inquiry?”. The agent could not even answer those questions. Eventually the agent just keep retorting to the merit that they refunded our money, since they can’t book us the same flights which are now 40% more expensive, our only solution is to stop calling them for our complaint and we need to start looking for our flights. WORST customer experience we ever had and I have traveled and booked a lot of flights in my life.

STAY AWAY from this website unless you want to experience the same. This company does not give an eff about you as a customer and will LIE to you to advance their interests. I hope this review helps. I dont expect you to believe me, but I want to let people know that this company is a SCAM and FRAUD.

Sold me a ticket that was a dead-end, not eligible for upgrades, adjustments, seat selections, or anything. Too bad.

Buymytrip is a faurd company the have a bunch of Indians faurd hard working American I bought a ticket from they in March they were supposed to fix my bagger problem but they stood 800dallors from me and when u call they unlocked your call becarefull to never use they services. They are a big thief

My booking agent touched all bases: Self-transfer, travel insurance and seats. I am confident that this long flight will prove relatively smooth, thanks to these arrangements.

Buymytrip site is good & sound for online ticket booking. Easy navigation. Had entered wrong destination by mistake, was able to rebook with virtual assistant. No cancellation fees were charged. Wasn’t able to apply promo code on check out.
All good. Keep it up.

UPDATE!!! While I was STILL unable to book my return flight, I saw the airline charged my credit card for the outgoing flight that actually worked. But BuyMyTrip booked the first flight with the WRONG EMAIL ADDRESS for me, and I had to call the airline directly to find out what the hhELLL was going on!! After TWO HOURS on the phone with the airline, they finally linked it up and now I trust that I'm actually going on this flight.

And the return flight STILL CAN'T BE BOOKED!!! I had to book it with a different airline entirely, as I will NEVER EVER trust BuyMyTrip for ANOTHER TRIP EVER!!!

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Don't Trust This Website! I was sent to BuyMyTrip from Google Flights for a multi-city trip, and I should have known it was too good to be true.

I booked one leg of the flight through BuyMyTrip, and it went fine — then I tried fifteen times to buy the return trip and it keeps telling me, "Oops, something went wrong! Please try after sometime."

After each infuriating error message, I have to re-enter EVERY SINGLE BIT OF INFORMATION (it remembers NONE of it), and then it gives me the new message again.

I called customer service, and spoke with someone clearly across the globe (there's a thirty second pause between each thing I say and the agent's response) and was told, "Please wait for thirty minutes and try again."

Guess what happened after thirty minutes?!

Now I have a non-refundable one-way flight booked, and no return flight. I will NEVER use this website again!

Scam! they claim they have NO FEE flight change policy but will charge you if you try to change your flight. Customer service is horrible and they do not care about you! Do not use this site or you will end up paying for more

Trip to Bali started off great. Then, day before we were suppose to leave, Airline emailed saying we missed our flight home. We had to pay $1400 extra to get home. Neither party willing to work with us. Eva told me I had to buy a ticket home and pay a rebooking fee, so we did. Buymytrip has no phone # to contact, so all we had was the Airline to speak with. We are out an extra $1400 plus extra hotel days as it took four days to get another flight. This is wrong. I had no way to contact them as none of the phone #'s were valid, so I did as eva airlines instructed. In response to buymytrip's reply, my bank did not pay priceline, they paid eva air...zero went to priceline.

This website is a scam. They take your personal information and don't even get you a ticket.

I had booked a ticket for $150 with a DEBIT card and on the second email I got it said my card was declined and to contact my bank or use alternate form of payment.. BUT!! Here’s the trick! They want you to buy the ticket yourself with the current price which is more than DOUBLE the amount! I ended up buying my ticket for $338 from the actual Alaskan airlines website because it was already same day! Absolutely do not trust this third party website! Buy your tickets elsewhere before the prices increase!

horrible experience, I just tried to book a flight by the link from google flight and it doesn't work. everything looks good, and after I wrote down all of the info it gets back to their main page.

I had a bad experience with BuyMyTrip, specifically around their same-day cancellation policy. I found their handling of my case highly inflexible and also unprofessional. I have bought and cancelled many trips, and this was by far my worst experience. After this, I am never again buying from a third-party, only direct from the airline, even if it costs a bit more.

This is what happened:

I purchased a one-way plane ticket from Buy My Trip. For Canadians, note that it uses a ".ca" web address but that is deceptive as it is based in the US, so it is not covered by Consumer Protection offices in Canada.

I upgraded from the base ticket so that I could have "same day cancellation". I made the purchase in the evening of, let's call it, for anonymity purposes, "Day 1". The company immediately emailed me after I bought the ticket, in the evening on "Day 1" saying that the booking was "in progress" but not confirmed. I then realized I had to cancel the ticket. I looked at the email they sent me and there was no information about how to cancel. In large letters at the top of the email, the company clearly said that the booking was not yet confirmed – it said, "BOOKING STATUS: IN PROGRESS", in all caps.

Then on "Day 2" at 6 PM local time, they sent me a confirmation email. This confirmation email was the first time I was given a booking reference for the actual airline (Air Transat). On "Day 3" at 4 PM, I sent them a response saying that I needed to cancel the trip. They replied to me saying, "Dear Passenger, The ticket is non refundable if you cancel there will not be any refund please advise." I replied saying that actually I chose the refundable option, and paid more for this. I said it was within 24 hours of receiving the confirmation. They said, in response, "The policy says same day cancellation it means you need to cancel the ticket on same day when it booked [sic] i.e [Day 2]." But they had only sent me the confirmation of the ticket at 6 PM on "Day 2". So **they gave me 6 hours to cancel the ticket**, rather than 24 hours.

I assumed "same day cancellation" meant a 24 hour window. It was also already the evening (6PM) of Day 2 when I suddenly would have had the option to cancel, but I had no idea when they were going to confirm the trip. I made the purchase on "Day 1" at 8 PM and they only responded with a confirmation on "Day 2" at 6 PM but expected me to respond by 11:59 PM on "Day 2". I responded at 4 PM on "Day 3" but they said this wasn't in line with their policy of same-day cancellation. So they took over 20 hours to send me the confirmation of the ticket and then expected me to respond within 6 hours to cancel.

I have never before encountered a company that thinks of "day" in this very restrictive way, giving me only 6 hours to cancel a ticket when I paid for an upgrade that gave me "same day cancellation" privileges. This is especially strange to me when the company takes over 20 hours to even issue you something that can be cancelled. On the same day I booked another flight direct with an airline (Air Canada) and I was able to immediately cancel it, all on "Day 1". But I didn't even have the option to cancel until 6 PM on "Day 2" with BuyMyTrip. They expect you to wait around for the time when they confirm and then to cancel it before that day runs out. In this case they only gave me 6 hours and I only received the confirmation in the evening, when I had a lot of other things going on, and then I had to be at work in the morning. It is just very strange to me that "same day cancellation" for them means "however much of the day is left after whatever time we decide to send this to you in the next 20+ hours".

Then I explained this all to them, and they simply stopped responding to my emails, which I found unprofessional.

So I do not at all recommend you buy from this place, as I found them deceptive, unforgiving, and unprofessional.

Good fast reliable. Easy to check flights, and convenient comparing the prices and dates. All good

I had my itinerary changed by the airline and the support team at buymytrip were very accommodating at fixing my problem at no extra cost

Amazing deal! Had a little accident entering a birthday but quickly got it rectified. If anyone is reading this. Please be patient and understanding and Buymytrip will take care of the rest.

I'm safe on this Website. I always had good experiences. Still, I just reserved 2 flights, and it's perfect.

Same as all other customers. Listing lowest prices online and then once the tickets are booked online they send an email saying the the confirmed tickets will be sent in 24hrs. I sent an email enquiry and was sent a screen shot of card declined and to retry. When I went online to book the same flight it does not show the flight nor the same price. DO NOT WASTE your time here. They might be legit but they are attracting customers to their site with false low pricing.

I was a bit concerned because my flight on Alaska was incredibly cheap and their website looked like it was run by some guy working out of his house.

Right after booking the flight I received an email that said "Booking Confirmation #nnnnnnnnn" in the title but said "Booking Status: In Progress" in the body.

I expected a 'final confirmation' email and couldn't find a way to confirm with Alaska about my luggage and seat, so I called the phone number on the BuyMyTrip site expecting to have to leave a message or something else useless.

Right away a (North American sounding) guy picked up the phone just saying something like "Can I help you?" After confirming I had the right phone number and giving him the booking number that I had, he said that I should have gotten a confirmation email but he just resent it anyway. The whole call was finished in under 2 minutes including having received the confirmation email. (After seeing it, I searched my emails again and found the original too.)

In the end I figured the company probably is one guy working out of his house in a t-shirt and underwear, with a cheap website. After some thought, I looked at the situation differently and decided that I bought the ticket through a Travel Agent who still has to work his a** off to stay in business, and he does it by giving a great price with hassle free service.

-- I wrote this review and wrote it here because of various negative reviews I saw online. Once I looked at BuyMyTrip as a travel agency rather than 'a guy', and considering the great price I got, I decided it was worth sharing.

I would definatly book through him/them again.
