Fantastic service

Fantastic service, super convenient. Richard and the team do a great job, and the majority of shoppers are outstanding. Usually you can get same day delivery, and being able to earn Dunnes vouchers from your order means you don’t lose out. 10/10

Excellent customer service

I find Buyme.ie has best customer service I have ever encountered.Online assistance is dealt with promptly.Queries answered in under 5mins in a friendly and professional matter.Excellent service.

Awful

Awful. I only read the reviews after about how they will buy cheaper “substitutes”. The charges are ridiculous and the time slots are ludicrous. You would have to be hanging around your house all day. Order directly from the Supermarket instead

So many issues

Driver on multiple occasions failed to call to check for a substitute even though I requestsed for them to call me, I made aware to support by email but again it happened. Signed up for a subscription only to find a "service" charge at the checkout page. Items arriving with expiry date of tomorrow, driver said they could not find items on multiple occasions so I actually when over to the store immediately after the driver delivered the shopping and found the items he could not find. Never had any of these issues with Tesco or Supervalu, I emailed their support to highlight these issues and mentioned I am closing my account but they never replied, which highlights how much they value their customers.

HIDDEN EXTRA CHARGES: Do not give credit card details

Same as other people’s experience, I was overcharged extras with Buymie. The cost of my shopping as per invoice comes to 71.35€, but I have been charged 83.34€. Subsequently, I have been charged another 13€ (no details at all of charged amount). When I did my shopping, I only authorised a charge of 75€, are they even allowed to charge more than the authorised amount? Is this even legal?Contacting bank today. I won’t be using Buymie again and I’ll make sure to let others shoppers know. I do not understand how Dunnes has any affiliation with them.

Horrible and disgusting service, never using again.

I ordered earlier today and at our supposed time slot, we were waiting and last-minute we had to do tomorrow, because they "couldn't find a driver".

They gave us an email saying "Thanks for your patience", with zero information, just a fake chat box in an email.

Thankfully they gave us a slot 9-11AM which is before my work so i can pick it up, but we're switching to our Tesco app. Never using again.

No consistency.

When it's good, it's quite good but when it's bad - as is the case 9 out of 10 times - it is truly diabolical. It works out OK if you are badly stuck but don't hold your breath. They take on more than they can chew. They often don't have enough shoppers to fulfill demand. And that's when you're left waiting. Their customer service is quite good, discount vouchers will be issued but it is generally a very poor customer experience.

Waited for delivery that never showed

Ordered about €150 worth of groceries for a celebration in two days and selected the 5-6pm time slot. Spoke to the shopper at 5.30 regarding replacement items. Delivery time changed to 7-7.30. At 7.30 I got a message they were rescheduling the order because of the driver and it would be between 1-2pm the next day. While I’m at work! So I had to cancel the order. The pending charge will take 3-5 days to show back up on my account per them. So there goes all my money and an entire evening of waiting around. Won’t be using the service again.

I have ordered several times on Buymie…

I have ordered several times on Buymie and not once has it been on time, wasted half my Sunday waiting around for food to be delivered. We ended up having to cancel the order and do the shopping ourselves. Very expensive service with very poor results. If you are considering ordering from here I would recommend using Deliveroo or one of the other online delivery services and save yourself the frustration of seeing your order saying it is on the way and 2 minutes later saying the shopper is starting to put together your shopping. Customer service uses the same excuse every time and says it was a technical issue and this never happens but if you read all the other reviews you will see it's not a once off.
