The item was advertised as excellent working condition but arrived non working.

Unfortunately buyee is not able to help more in this regard whereas the shipping fees make it not worth it to service.

This time it was super fast. Item ordered at Friday, from seller to buyee shipped at Saturday and delivered to warehouse at Sunday. On Monday it will be shipped out with carrier. As always it is pleasure to buy goods with Buyee.

I have purchased a brand new LSD from your site and once it arrived at your warehouse, I was informed that your company can't mail that item to me. If your company weren't able to mail the item at the very beginning, I would not even have purchased it at the first place. Now, I am lucky that I have a friend who is staying at Tokyo for a while and willing to carry it back to me or else I have to dispose a 150k yen item. However, second problem came when I have been having so much problem to update my mailing address into your system which has not been solved at the very moment. Why can't your company just mail my item to my friend's hotel since this is only going to be a one time stay. Why in the world you need to add a new address into your system when I won't ever use it again. Please send it without having me going through something pointless.

Good experience overall.

Overall my experience was fine. Process was easy and a lot faster than I anticipated. My problem is getting buyer rating to get what I can't from regular e-bay. I understand wanting good buyers but I would think the process for signing up would be enough.

Everything was fine. I purchased from Italy and I received the item very quickly and it was as described in the auction.

Bought an item from Yahoo Auctions via Buyee with the Standard (Insured/Inspection) plan as I have had many items damaged due to improper packaging and mishandling in the past

From their website:
"If you apply for a Insured Delivery plan, in the unlikely event that the product is damaged or lost, the amount incurred based on the coverage set by Buyee will be refunded."

The item arrived in damaged condition with woefully thin packaging protection and it had looked like it was treated like a football by the couriers. Additionally, while the Yahoo Auctions listing stated the item was working, it arrived DOA, likely due to the physical damage suffered during shipping.

My insurance claim with Buyee was denied on the basis that the damage was "expected" for a vintage second hand item despite my photos showing clearly how the cardboard box had split and how minimal the protective packaging was. I quote:

"・Damage that do not appear to have been caused in transit based on the appearance of the package
・Defects due to aging
(The item was listed as "Rank C" on the product page, which explicitly noted that signs of use, age-related wear, minor damage, or missing parts may be present. Furthermore, the item was manufactured around 1970–1980.)"

Buyee have engaged in fraudulent and misleading conduct by stating that my item would be protected by inspection and insured delivery coverage. They have denied my claim by trying to fall back on "the item is old" argument.

Compare this to other providers I have used - Zenmarket and Doorzo who have gracefully repackaged my item in case the original packaging was inadequate.

A warning for anybody who is considering paying for a Buyee plan - it's a scam.

⭐ 1/5 The worst buying experience I have ever had.

The shipping and consolidation process is extremely confusing and feels designed to make customers pay more. I selected five items together, so naturally I assumed they would be shipped together. Instead, Buyee sent only one item and then demanded separate shipping payments for the others.

Apparently, selecting multiple items is not enough. You must also notice and click a small “Consolidate” button that appears on the left side of the page. The system does not clearly explain that without clicking this additional button, your selected items will still be treated as separate packages.

I would not use Buyee again and cannot recommend it.

Fast buying service which helps me win items I want. Sniper bids for JD Auctions are great too. I've used a couple of buying services in Japan and this is the best!

Most of items are not available for bidding (junk). But on all other sites bidding and buying is possible. Buyee does not need customers.

No shipping within Japan, no pick up option, why I as customer cannot pick up my products stocked in their warehouse
