ADVARSEL
ADVARSEL! WARNING!
The following will be in English to hit the broader consumer.
Butlers washed (with water) my suits, hand made trench coat and shirts. But regrets to admit it.
I'll let you know in the end how I know it.
First of all. Be aware, and do not read Butlers replies to consumers. They will always protect their stand point, not admitting faults.
They would never admit treating your cloth in a way that they get damaged. And NO, they didn't offer me special treatment. They just tried to save their A**
With this review you will have two outcomes. You listen to me and others and choose not to use their service, and your life will go on with no effect.
Or you ignore all true reviews here at Trustpilot, and will experience a horrific experience, and be angry at your self not listening to all voices in here.
In july I sent of three suits, jakket and shirts for dry cleaners.
The pickup came to my home address and got all the items.
Few days later the came back, and I noticed that all suits was wrinkly/creases all over, pockets had lost it shapes, fabric had shrunk and suits was buffy around the color, (and later, about a week or two, in this matter I noticed my shirts had a the same “buffy” color, plus the “shine” was gone and they looked washed. My hand made trench coat lost colour and had thickened up.)
I contacted Butler that quickly took my reclamation to hand. My suits where picked up and came back. Nothing had improved.
I was now in serious contact with the customer service department, that neglected my accusation that they had washed my suits and not dried cleaned them.
The lady that helped me with the customer service, took it to her mission to make sure they would be pressed back to best shape. Days went and every day I was told I couldn’t get em back, since they had problem getting them back in shape.
I needed suits, so I asked for money back and to use another more serious dry cleaners.
The answer was: "We don't do that." My reply was, "How can you charge me for sending three perfects suits, that came back in different condition. You have made something wrong with my cloth".
She agreed to send my money back.
So there is two options here. She (name of customer agent is Jeanette) are a total new customer service agent, and just did her job had never seen how a water washed suit looked like, or she is a lier doing all not to admit there fault, and don't give a damn that they destroy cloth from people, worth 10s thousands. Just to not pay up there big big mistake.
Some companies and persons just don't have morals.
I got my ruined suits and money back.
At new dry cleaners I was told 100% they had washed my suits.
(I forgot to say I only sent the blazer back to Butler, only believing it was the color on the blazers it was wrong with, at start. Shortly after my visit at second opinion dry cleaners I saw the damage was exactly all my cloth sent to Butlers)
They tried improve my suit, but success was not met.
I took another suit for a third opinion at other dry cleaners and they said exactly what the other dry cleaner said. My suit had been washed. You could see all around the seams, pockets et, that shrinkage had occurred.
I will spare you the after dialogue I had with Butlers, but it was the statement they had NOT washed my cloth. A very ignorant tone, was applied. Because even if Butler can see the made a mistake they don’t admit it, it would ruin them, paying all customers for the mistake they’ve done for so many consumers, that trusted them.
So how do I know the washed it, and where it went wrong?
When the pick up came, they asked me to put all my clothes in a black bag. I asked how that could be to put a suit in a bag. Answer was that how they do the pickup.
Unaware that when my cloth arrives to butlers cleaning facilities, they cleaners, se cloth in a black bag as laundry and not as items to be dry cleaned. And that what happened.
The uneducated drivers have a responsibility to make sure that the items sent of are treated what they are. Dry cleaners or laundry.
So I got suits for 15 000 destroyed. And Butler will never admit it, but if they read my review they will see that I’m right, about when cloths put in a black plastic bag it’s treated as laundry and not as dry cleaners, by the cleaners.
You could’ve wish the cleaners had competence to see what cloth the got in front of them and suits not to be placed in a laundry machine.
Since the process to win a case regarding cloths are so long, I’ll try Copenhagens best dry cleaner at Amager to try fix the suits, as much as can be done.
(One suit haven't been touched after destroyed by them, and the trench coat. Try win a case?)
And If I prevent, only one person from using the scandal dry cleaning company Butlers, that’s good for me.
Hope all the best, and that you look away from this company and their service, and choose one of the star quality dry cleaners in Copenhagen instead.
