Only use if your willing to wait 2 weeks for collection

We placed a order on Tuesday 17th of march for collection on friday 20th march but our collection wasnt collected but they emptied some one else's bin apparently but as they are closed over the weekend we had to wait till monday to contact them

They then said they couldn't collect our bin till the bin wagon driver confirmed he didnt collect it to which took another two days and we was messaged on Wednesday 25th march to say they was sorry and will collect it on the thursday 26th which was no good as the gray bin got emptied on the 27th so spent £20 for nothing would i use them again probably not due to this exsperience and there incompetent business rules to sort problems out plus you ring up and your always number 2 in line dont know how many people are ringing a bin company for a chat if they wasnt making so many mistakes

Could not be easier - information is clear so you know what you are paying for

They arrive on the right day and put the bin back in the same place where they took it from

The council could learn a thing or two from this company

Oh and the even send an e mail when they have emptied your bin - so you know exactly what is happening even if you are out - although mine are always emptied nice and early so I can put the bin away before I go out.

You can have one off or a regular bin service - I have fortnightly on opposite weeks to council ( who arrive at all times of the day and leave the bins all over the street - we then have to sort out which is our bin)

Wish I could stop paying the council through council tax and have busy bins every week

They deserve my custom and cash!!

Unlawful practice

We were semi regular customers. This morning we noticed the bin wagon quite early on and we rushed to get the bins out. As we were taking the bins out of the gate which immediately joins the road, the driver saw us and failed to stop and complete the delivery. We contend this was a service that was not undertaken with reasonable care and skill per s49 Consumer Rights Act 2015.

We exercised our right to repeat performance under s55 CRA, which requires the trader to perform the service again within a reasonable timeframe and without significant convenience to the customer, and which also requires the trader to bear the costs of such repeat performance.

Busy bins would not repeat the performance in a reasonable timeframe, and the timeframe they proposed would have significantly inconvenienced us.

We therefore requested a full refund under s56 CRA.

Busy Bins agreed but refused to process the refund without the reduction of an admin fee. Section 56(6) CRA 2015 provides that "The trader must not impose any fee on the consumer in respect of the refund.".

The lovely lady at Busy Bins even went and spoke to the owner. They were aware that I would complain under the CRA, and they were aware I would leave this review.

They continued to act unlawfully and forced us to allow them to refund less the admin fee, else they would not have issued a refund at all.

We will not use them again if they do not put this right and apologise.

Terrible communication and customer service

I have been using these guys for a year, it was great until a month ago, first they said they did not receive the payment and when I called they realised they had and offered to collect double next time around, then they had changed the bin day without informing us and sent an email saying your bin has not collected, when I spoke to their agent on the phone she said nothing could be done and that a manager would not get back to us until after Christmas! Extremely dissatisfied!

Reliable rubbish removal with fair prices

I've used this company at least 5 times now and they've been great. Usually arrive in the morning, one time being towards the end of the day but always within the stated time period. I especially appreciate the online booking process, every info you need is on the website so you can handle it yourself without having to make a phone call or write an email which to me are both mentally draining.

MONEY TAKEN AND SERVICE NOT PROVIDED

MONEY TAKEN AND SERVICE NOT PROVIDED. On 6th April I paid £21.99 for a 240L Bin collection and 4 additional bags to be removed - I was emailed that this would take place on Friday 7th April. On Saturday 8th I noticed that this service had not been carried out and my bin was still full - assuming that the estimated date had been a computer error because it was Easter (Good Friday) I expected the collection to take place at a later date. Upon emailing Busy Bins, they are telling me that their GPS tracker says the service was completed, this is absolutely untrue and the rubbish waiting to be collected is definitely mine and not that of a neighbour that has perhaps filled up my empty bin with their own rubbish. I'm extremely angry that I am now being accused of lying and my money being taken for services that have not been provided. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Busy Bins to the rescue

Used busy bins many times now , they come to my rescue when the rubbish gets out of control in our household.
Website is easy to use, they always update quickly with confirmation, receipt and collection date.

Absolutely a service to use

Absolutely a service to use!

I have a disability & unable too take bins out. Busy bins has a part to leave instructions for their staff & they followed them to the T.

They came into my garden & collected the bin to empty at no extra cost. I will be using them again should I need to!

I was so worried about using this…

I was so worried about using this company, there were not many reviews, but I have a habit of forgetting to put my black bin out, and I did the same thing last week, but I also did it on the last collection too we are a family of 7 so leaving it wasn't an option. I searched online looking for tip guys and came across busy bins, £10.85 for the bigger bin and 9.35 for slim one I thought the price was pretty good. Anyway I was still dubious and thought I probably wasted the money etc, but low and behold my bins are now empty, 3 days after I put the order in they were emptied, I am so happy I went to them now, I will definitely be using them again in future. Thank you busy bins! :D
