I sent my tele style home build to Burman guitars twice in 2025, first for a neck reset then later on for a rewire of its 4way circuit. I also recommended Nick to my brother who needed a fretless bass... See more

Nick refurbished an old fender style guitar that had been in my attic for years. Not a small job... at some point in its life the guitar had been "aged" to give that vintage look. Unfortunately it hadn't been done well.
Nick did a fantastic job which included respraying, refretting, finishing in nitrocellulose lacquer, changing out the pickups and much more.
A transformation! I now have a stunning looking guitar.
Thank you Nick!

I took my rattling, buzzing lefty Epiphone SG to Nick after over a year of putting up with it. Less than a week later I've got a perfectly set up guitar that plays like silk. Highly competent, and a nice guy to boot.

Nick sorted out the strings and action of my Seagull guitar. He was a pleasure to deal with and very reasonably priced. Nick did the work very quickly and was accommodating with my schedule for pick up. Many thanks.

Highly recommended! Really great service from Nick who serviced/set up 4 guitars and rescued a FR trem for me recently. The difference is amazing and all the guitars are playing beautifully. Great value in my opinion too. Will definitely be a repeat customer. Cheers!! 🤘😁🤘

I gave Burman Guitars my Schecter for a bit of TLC, as I had installed some new pickups myself but wasn't convinced I got the setup quite right. Nick kitted it out with some new strings, made some neck, bridge, truss rod adjustments and cleaned up the fretboard. Very happy with how it plays now. All for a fantastic price too.

I took one of my guitars which had been proving difficult to set up, to Nick and asked him to sort it out. This he did and explained to me what he had done. The guitar now plays so much better and I am really pleased. I Recommend Burman guitars for all your guitar maintenance and setup needs.

During lockdown I’d tried to repair some loose connections on my bass EQ but trying to reflow solder I had damaged pads and tracks in process.
I Contacted Nick with photos of connections and damage, in desperation.
He assured me he could repair and renovate according to my wishes and giving an idea of both time needed and cost. Both of which were most acceptable.
Throughout the process (EQ sent by post) Nick contacted me with updates and clear requests for information and clarification to ensure his actions matched my wishes.
This was always timely and courteous with clear illustrations and photos attached where useful.
I felt content that the work would be professionally done and that I was in good hands throughout.
The finished product was safely returned in no time looking much the better than when sent away.
I highly recommend BurmanGuitars for any luthier related work from boutique guitars (see YouTube) to the smallest guitar related work.
Nice work Nick and many thanks.

Knowing that if you own a Gibson player your guitar will be in one of two states. Either with a neck break, or waiting to. have a neck break.
I've had a few neck repairs in my time, an old SG stands out, but when my beloved 20 year old Les Paul neck broke I was concerned the repair would leave it "less" than it was. To me it was a 'perfect" Les Paul.
I have played some of Nicks custom guitars, and I know they. are something else. Lovely players, sound great. with a sensitive and well thought out pickup and electronics selection.
Since Nick. fixed the guitar it plays as well, better in one way. Tuning is more consistent, the nightmare of Les Paul owners everywhere, and it just felt more robust.
The repair is perfect, I can't feel it on the neck, the instrument stays in tune better and it still feels like the best Les Paul I've ever played.
All my guitars now goto Nick.
Cheers Nick.
