Abusive service, Sault Ste Marie, MI
Incredibly abusive service at the Sault Ste Marie location (Store # 11717, located at 4441 I-75 Business Spur). $3.49 mistake on my order. Called in and spoke with a very surly person who copped an attitude with me from the beginning and then hung up on me after telling me to take it to corporate. I drove back to the store calling over and over again and they refused to pick up, claiming when I got there that they were "too busy." (Please see the below photo of the dining room with five people in it-- that's her "too busy" to answer the phone. She was hiding from the customer she had antagonized and she knows that full well.)
Manager and her son, who called her "Mom,” were just as abusive, finally telling me to "Get the f*** out of her store," She refused to identify herself— none of these people were wearing name tags, which I understand is a REQUIREMENT for all franchises within Burger King. Frustrated, I sat on the front counter and demanded her name. All employees went to the back of the store, refusing to talk to me. She came back with her district manager on the phone and claimed he was telling me to "Get the f*** off his counter." She refused to let me speak to him or to give me his number. Meanwhile, her son screamed at me "Are you pulling out that pocket knife and going to stab me?!" This was interspersed with calling me a "F***ing loser" and telling me to "Get the f*** out of his store before he beats the sh** out of me." I want it on record that the District Manager, whose name is apparently "Chris Kowalski" (I saw it on her phone screen.), could clearly hear these statements, as could the five customers in the lobby. It is also recorded on their security footage. (At NO point was my body language in any way threatening, nor did I reach for the pocket knife that remained securely clipped in my pocket through the entire ordeal. Probably the single stupidest part of this entire ridiculous situation was a seventeen year old fast food worker screeching at me that I was a “loser” who was likely to get violent.)
I am filing a BBB complaint as well as have made a complaint to corporate, on top of leaving negative reviews on social media and on Google Reviews. Corporate has no customer service phone number, choosing to hide from the customer (wonder where the manager got this from) behind a chat AI. When I received an email from a customer service rep and replied with the threats and abuse that had been leveled AT me by these people, zendesk closed my ticket "Because it detected profanity."
You don't say? My quote from the offensive teen punk threatening me with bodily harm and dropping F-bombs like commas had profanity in it? How about you discipline your employees so that such things don't happen again and don't need to be caught by your filter?
Not likely to return to a Burger King EVER at this rate, and definitely not until this manager and every single employee working there on 6/20/2025 at 7pm is fired.

Hungry and very unhappy.
I am writing a bad review for this store not because of the staff working, however not a very energetic group. But our order was #80 on March 22, 2025 at 4:08 pm. The store is in Eustis, Fl. #1837. First the coke would not work and then no ice. But the meal was cold, bun burger COLD!! Fries were only warm. We were so dissapointed!! We work hard for our income and expect very good food especially at BurgerrKing!! It was not a good experience ,especially when you're very hungry. Bad Customer Service
Ordered the $5 Duo meal and thought I was getting a burger and chicken fries and then ordered a soda which I thought came with it. Apparently it did not so instead of telling me the soda was extra, the agent took off the chicken fries and gave me this huge soda that I would not have gotten if it did not come with it. To make matters worse, when I got just my burger and soda I did not want and no chicken fries, I asked where the chicken fries were. He said it came with two things and and I got the soda and burger. This was not made clear to me.... but OK maybe my mistake but when I told him it was not clear, his answer was "read the menu" No apology, I am sorry it was unclear, no empathy, just Read the menu! Poor customer service and poor communication which is the reason why I RARELY go there even though I work in the area! Totally disgusted how far this business has fallen!!

Hello yes I have ordered from the Burger King app for like the last year but a couple weeks ago I spent $38.07 I did not receive any food nobody contacting me corporate telephone number is disconnected and they wanted to give me $15 for the food I didn't receive do not order food from the website if you going to order you need to go in they are ridiculous and they disrespectful and you can only talk to a computer I will never order from a Burger King website again is horrible they never did bring me my food I asked if they give me my food and my hand and they told me that the food was delivered so please be aware do not order off their website
BK app and online orders are a scam
Today I odered Breafast from BK and when I got there to pick it up, 20 mins waiting for humans at the menu - drove to window anyway - one person inside and they didnt know how to access mobile orders.
after 10 mins while they called someone - they came back and said we stopped breakfast 2 mins ago. This is not the first time and more often than not they are out of biscuits. Bk takes money in advance and has not simple refund issue - 2 hours to fix a fast food issue is absurd - charging for food not provided is thievery.
Bk Site Sucks
I don't need to tell people about bk I'm sure you already know about this food. My purpose of the review is for their online ap which completely sucks. All other places seem to get this right except bk. I used GPS to find closest bk to my house. Then I began driving there. When I was 2 blocks away their system placed the order at a location farther away and I didn't catch it. I then found out when I arrived. Now because the uneducated run that place they couldn't simply give me my order at the other location. I had to place a 2nd order. Their site sucks only, no assistance available and the crooks charged me for both orders. I even sent a complaint in advising them on how to change their screwed up system. I got ridiculous response about offering me 10 dollars. I said just change your system so it works and cancel the 2nd charge. They did nothing because they are lazy and incompetent so I now have to dispute the 2nd charge on my credit card. I don't like wasting time on matters this simple,especially when could be avoided had their system placed order at correct location. I GPS bk and there was one south of me 2 miles away and north if me 3 miles away. I began driving south. Why would their system place order at location which at that time, was 5 miles away,when there is one 2 blocks away!!! Their system sucks, the company sucks and of course the food sucks, which is why I rarely eat that junk!! Be careful using their site it's run by morons.
Senior discount or discounts for veterans
I got my order my food was right the staff working were great my food even tasted great, your one star rating is for the fact that you only give a senior discount on a small soda and you don't even give veterans discounts. Men and women that served in our country you don't serve a discount on their meal I'm ashamed actually I'm appalled. Burger King you need to do better. You better get with the times and look into all the other places that are giving senior discounts and veteran discounts.

I went to jacaal creek burger king around 21:00 found the cashier . I requested 2 whopper meals, I wanted to use the code on the app, she told me that she placed the one for R130, so it's either I pay with the cash or card then she will give me the R10 back since on the app it's R120. I did ask what about the code and she says she won't use it I have to pay using cash or card, I used card but never got the R10 back.... So I'm confused

On multiple occasions I have walked in, only to be told to hold on and then they take a new drive thru order. I just turn around an walk out. That is garbage customer service. The prices are also horrible as is their "king" burger.

BK Gainesville, VA - like BK as it has smaller Royal Crispy Wraps, other tasty choices, Onion rings, Coke Zero + other drinks. All are not found @ McDonalds and other fast food places.
