Horrible service

Horrible service and bridal bouquet flowers were damaged and wilting upon arrival. 12 hours later, they were fully wilted and dead, despite following their directions exactly. In addition, they left out certain flowers that I paid for in a customized order. Very difficult to get anyone to answer the phone. Now they are sending me snarky emails saying it’s my fault. I would run away from this business. There are other online florists to deal with. Buyer beware.

I paid for flowers for my wedding and…

I paid for flowers for my wedding and never received them or a refund. The flowers never arrived. I was told by a staff member that I’d get a refund. After a week or so, I never got the refund. I called multiple times, was hung up on, emails weren’t returned, phone calls and voicemails were not returned. Finally, I spoke with a staff member that told me that I would not be receiving a refund for the hundreds of dollars I spent on the flowers because they had a new owner. When I told them that didn’t matter and I still wanted a refund, I was told that no manager would spend the time to speak with me. I filed a complaint with BBB. The BBB said that no one from Bunches Direct ever responded.

I ordered direct for the first time

I ordered direct for the first time. Took a chance on this company as they came up as wholesale and could order bulk. I didn't realize they were shipped from Ottawa and I am in Guelph. Thought they may have sent the order to somewhere closer. Needed something for a 60th wedding anniversary. They shipped them and received on Thursday, party was Saturday. All but one flower that was abit brown, my order was excellent. I was really happy with the flowers. They looked beautiful set out on the tables, it's been over a week and I still have the carnations. I did put them in the fridge until I was ready to use, maybe that helped in keeping them fresh.

In a pinch? Anywhere is better than here.

We were in a pinch and during a pandemic trying to still have our wedding (June 20th) We thought because we were ordering online it would be fine, after all they do no contact drop off. They don't tell you that if you live outside of x range they ship it through a regular postal service. We live in kitchener and received flowers from DHL.
No big deal, I'm sure it's economical for them...

Considering they didn't ship our flowers with any kind of water source in over 30 degree weather inside a box with no air vents.
Yeah they warn that the flowers will be thirsty. NO KIDDING! If you leave flowers out of water for a whole day and ship them in a non-refrigerated vehicle in the depth of summer they'll be thirsty? Weird.
The flowers we ordered were white roses, baby's breath, star of Bethlehem, and myrtle.

Thinking I can perk them back up I put them immediately in water in the basement bathroom, away from anything (no breeze/drafts) and in cool temperature.
Nope. By the time we tried to use them for our ceremony the heads were bent and falling off. The star of Bethlehem never bloomed, and myrtle was half bald, and the baby's breath had started to brown. I did my best, but did they really do theirs when they shipped them?

We were gifted replacements from my parents (from Costco) because they were so dissapointed at the lack of communication and we couldn't afford anything else. But because everything is in the middle of a pandemic and was done in a rush we didn't take pictures of our garbage flowers, and because we trusted the quality that they could be revived we didn't ask for a credit in time (within 12hours of receiving them) and were denied.

We emailed the person who contacted us about an original miscommunication 2 separate times about this matter and got nothing back. Then a few days ago we were asked to make a review so here it is.

Would not recommend. EVER!

BUYER BEWARE DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

BUYER BEWARE DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! My sister in law ordered for her wedding June 20 2020 and they were supposed to be delivered June 18. They were not delivered, and she had numerous phone calls with them trying to find out when they would arrive, they finally told her they would not be in until the week after her wedding! Needles to say, this caused unnecessary stress, time and money spent on trying to find flowers the day before the wedding. They finally came in one week late on June 26 and were completely rotten. They are supposed to be refunding the money, but have not done it yet, and it has been 3 weeks so far, and counting. I would recommend ordering from somewhere else, it’s been nothing but problems from bunches direct.

Damaged Bridal Bouquet - avoid this place!!!

This place is a scam.
Not only the customer service is questionable in terms of challenges when placing an order, but I received a bridal bouquet that was completely damaged.
Not one flower was in good shape.
I ordered 12 orchids and 8 peonies and ended up getting 10 orchids, 5 peonies, all damaged. The additional flowers and greens were misplaced ending up with a completely unbalanced composition.
Such quality is unacceptable at any price but even less acceptable when paying over 300 USD.

This company is a fraud avoid at all cost! I ordered $1,200 worth of flowers 2 weeks before COVID and then immediately asked for a refund. The wedding was suppose to be in June so I gave them plenty of time. They responded saying that they can't issue refunds during COVID (which made no sense). Since then they have not emailed back or picked up any calls. Do not order anything from this company since it's a complete fraud!

If I could give O stars I would

If I could give O stars I would, stay away from Bunchesdirect for your special event flowers. I purchased one bridal bouquet and one MOH bouquet for a Sunday Nov. 2019 vow renewal. When they arrived on Friday the bottom of the box was dozen flowers had come out of the bridal bouquet, all the pink roses in bouquet were brown on edges it was a hot mess. Thankfully a local florist for free (carrollwood florist ) late Friday afternoon stayed open rearranged, added fresh blooms & greens (they said the flowers were cut incorrectly and ruined they would have no reason to lie they were doing this for free, lots of blooms could not be salvaged) to all the potential brides out there DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND HAVE THE STRESS OF MY EXPERIENCE this is why I am writing this review to warn brides of my terrible experience with this company. I called them no apology, they said they had to investigate the situation, I tons of pictures took me multiple attempts to get a refund of $88.00 for my bridal bouquet not worth the stress on your special day.

HORRIBLE!!!!😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬

HORRIBLE!!!!😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬
Dead, rotting, moulding, wilted pathetic flowers. What arrived was 1/2 my order, nothing said about what was missing... utterly useless!!! They said they’d send me replacement flowers the next day, which arrived at 6:30 pm. The event started at 6pm.
So no flowers.... they didn’t care. After asking for a refund they only offered me $150 credit for my next order.... as IF there would ever be a next order.
I spent $1,000.00 and got nothing but stress, tears... and ultimately fired as the floral designer for next years event😡
If you order from the “Bulk flowers“, you’ll pay corporate prices which fundamentally means, the crap they can’t sell retail and is headed for the garbage.
You’ll be embarrassed, seriously disappointed or crushed that your centrepieces are nothing but
dead, wilted, rotten flowers destined for the bin.
Plus, you’ve paid in advance with little to no recourse.
DON’T EVER ORDER FROM THEM!!!
PURE GARBAGE THAT YOU PAID FOR AND YOU WONT GET A PENNY BACK!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m not Alone in my experiences... see and refer to all the other disastrous reviews🖤🤬💔🤬🖤💔

Very dissapointed in the service from…

Very dissapointed in the service from BunchesDirect.ca and the quality. Got a confirmation call the day before my flowers were supposed to arrive at my home, they confirmed the delivery and had to switch some colours of flowers, which I was totally okay with. I had asked how the flowers get delivered and if I needed to sign for it, the lady on the phone explained that they would just leave them at the door if no one was home. This was my first red flag, as I live in Edmonton, Alberta and the temperatures were reaching -20 degrees Celsius and this seemed risky, not only because of the weather, but because I ordered around $350 worth of product that they would just leave on my step. Because of this I arranged to be home all day to await their arrival.
Hours went by, night came, and no flowers were delivered. I tried to be patient and attempted to talk to their online chat on their website since no one was answering their phone lines. The chat said someone was online, but I sent about 4 different messages, and received no reply. I went to bed with no idea where my flowers were, or any type of contact from BunchesDirect.
The next morning as I continued to call and tried to talk to someone online, finally I got someone to call me back. She explained that Purolator was backed up and that they did not have the time to deliver on the promised delivery day. She looked up my order and after I asked she gave me the purolator tracking number, so that I could track it myself as well. Both saying that it was on a truck, out for delivery. She promised they would show up, I tried to ask her what happens if they don't, she ignored my question and just tried to tell me it would be fine. I got frustrated with the lack of customer service and vague answers to my questions, so I left it at that and just hoped that my flowers would come. As I waited I chatted with someone online trying to ask similar questions and curious what the policy was if I received my flowers and they were ruined in any way. Instead of sharing the policy (which I later found on their website on my own a day after my wedding), she proceeded to beat around the bush and just say "don't worry", "they will be fine". Being a bride getting married in less than 48 hours, I was worried. I already wasted a day, and I did not have much time for any other inconveniences. All I got out of her, was 20$ for them being a day late, which helped none and paid for a tiny fraction of what I had spent already. I left the conversation with no answers and full or worry.
Finally around noon, I saw a purolator truck pull up, excited and relieved I met him at the door, but asked that he stay so I could take a picture of him, his truck and the quality of flowers I received. Just in case I needed evidence.
Opened the box, lifted the most expensive flowers (that were supposed to be the "show-stoppers", and half the petals fell off. The stems were broken and beaten, and the centres of the bunches were brown and seemed to be rotted. I asked the delivery driver if he knew where they were stored for the past 24 hours, and he checked and said they would have been in their heated warehouse. Great, heat with flowers that have no water, no sun, no type of insulation in the box, and it seemed that they would have been thrown around with no type of "handle with care" or "perishable items" located on the box. So dissapointing.
I no longer had time to deal with BunchesDirect and decided to go out and replace almost half of the flowers for the poor quality. The ferns fell apart as they were picked up and were useless. All the flowers I got were very dry, sad and wilted, some with brown edges. I went to Safeway and a Growers Direct stores and replaced what I could, and had to spend another $175 for all that was unusable in my delivery.
The stores I went to had 110% better customer service than anyone I talked to on the phone or on the chat of BunchesDirect, and the quality was unbelievably better in comparison to the sad flowers that I paid WAY too much to get delivered.
Thankfully we were able to arrange what we needed and worked with what we got, but it was not anything like I had in mind when I first ordered with them, plus the additional flowers I bought afterwards are what really made up by most of my centerpieces and bouquets.
I did not have time to look at the policies, or deal with the BunchesDirect until after the wedding, and that's when I read the only compensation they have for THEIR poor quality was that they would try to send replacements. But why would I want more low quality product. I'd really like some of my wasted money back, because what I got that day was no where near the $350 they charged me.
I do not recommend BunchesDirect. Stay far away! Over priced and the most pathetic flowers I have ever received.

Fraudulent company BunchesDirect.

Fraudulent company BunchesDirect.

Bottom line: they meet the legal definition of a fraudulent company.
We were sent dead flowers and we were not refunded as they said the flowers had been ‘delivered’.
Basically they stole $700 from us.

Flowers came brown, wilted, and unsalvageable. Many flowers had severe cracks and blemishes. Couldnt use them for wedding day.

Paid 155 for the flowers and they offered me $25 dollars store credit. I will not use them ever again, even if it were free.

Do not use this company

This company is awful. They sent us the wrong types of flowers, substituting cheaper types in to our order without consulting us. They then refused to refund us for their mistake, opting to give us a store credit instead. We had to go out and buy new flowers from Costco instead, the day before our wedding. The customer service team was completely useless, promising to return our phone calls and never doing so. This is my first time writing a review of a company - only doing this so others do not make the same mistake. Go elsewhere to buy your flowers!
