My experience with Bulldog couldn’t have actually been worse. I bought a Zero 2 a few years ago. Loved it at the beginning, compact sleek, did all the things I needed it to. Then the cables started fraying. Here’s where all my issues have started. Since buying this machine I have spent more than half a grand on replacement cables & parts. The last time I replaced every one of the adonised wheels as advised by the company as well as the two cables & within less than 24 hours both cables were catching between the wheels becoming destroyed & unsafe to use. It’s been two months & Bulldog have stopped replying to any of my emails so I cannot even order new & my cable machine has been out of service causing significant financial harm to my business. I’ve also asked for the name to be changed on my account multiple times & despite this they have continued to address me incorrectly causing invoicing issues (plus the fact that it feels incredibly impersonal). Terrible communication, terrible service & I frankly couldn’t feel more let down & frustrated.

I loved this kit when I first bought it but to say I’m disappointed is a huge understatement. I’m now looking at having to spend thousands of pounds on a new cable machine & won’t be touching Bulldog gear in the future if they don’t sort the issues.

Ordered product fine through website. Terrible information regarding when the product was going to be shipped, dispatched and out for delivery. Automated responses promising ‘ WE AIM TO DISPATCH YOUR ORDER WITHIN 3-5 WORKING DAYS’ after emailing 7 times it was delivered 17 days or 13 working days after order. No explanation of why the delay at all. Having staff in the office emailing standard responses means the customer is completely in the dark waiting for their product. Very disappointed. Such a shame as the product is excellent!

So disappointed. Spent £1300 on a cable machine - when I ordered it, I paid and they then contacted me to say that they’d given me the wrong price and I needed to pay the difference. After a little back and forth I agreed as I wanted the machine.

Purchased in January and in April one of the cables came loose, is frayed and not working. No idea how this happened since it’s not being used commercially, it’s only a home gym. I emailed to complain and they sent me a new cable but I cannot understand how to replace it. I asked for them to send someone out and they’ve refused because they didn’t install it (because they wanted £1000 for installation on top of the £1300 for the machine). I complained but all they’ve done is sent a few instructions on how to fit the new cable. I asked for more assistance and was told that’s all they can do.

This is appalling service. The machine has malfunctioned with not even 3 months use and now they won’t help, and for this kind of outlay it’s really appalling! Would not recommend.

I contacted Bulldog directly prior to making my order to confirm a specific delivery date . I received great customer service . The delivery didn’t happen on the specified date but that was due to a courier issue , not Bulldog

Communication about delivery was non existent and it took longer than originally stated. I wouldn’t go through the process in a hurry again. It’s a real pity because the product is great.

Fast delivery a very strong bench total confidence it does not flex or move under heavy loads (me ) 😁

I didn’t receive my order

Hoping to revisit this review once the Zero 2 cable machine is installed but the delivery experience was horrendous.
Came on a tail lift which should have great. Due to poor loading the tail lift couldn’t be used. Hand balling a 250kg off a chest high lorry was extremely dangerous and unnecessary.

I purchased this to build muscle, not to get injured off loading it.

Bulldog Gear provides solid products and I would've provided 5-stars.

I bought the Home Gym Adjustable Bench from them and the quality is sturdy and strong. It's definitely recommended for people who take the gym seriously and wants quality products.

However, the deduction on the stars relate to the assembly instructions which was not helpful. Some parts were part assembled but gives you the impression you're missing parts. The instructions are not step-by-step either but simply a map of the overall product with lines pointing where parts are connected (without a view of the product in a different angle, you will have no clue where you're suppose to secure the nuts/bolts). I've read a few reviews from Bulldog and it appears to be a common theme.

I couldn't express how frustrated I was assembling the bench and definitely did not make my first time with Bulldog Gear pleasant. This is lesson learnt and until they provide user friendly guides to non-commercial customers, I would purchase only products from Bulldog that do not require an emphasis on assembly given their products are still high quality.

Scam company, avoid!!!

Really great quality. Delighted with the shorty bar and bumper plates. Good communication when I contacted the team to ask about delivery. Wouldn't hesitate to order again.

The product is great and seems to be of good quality. The only downside to buying all 6 bands for the price i would of thought they would provide a bulldog gear bag to go with them.

The gym gear looks top quality, the packages were very damaged when they arrived but luckily none of the items were really affected, a couple of “niks” but only because I was going over with a “fine tooth comb”. The massively disappointing bit is there’s a package missing which the whole lot is useless without, so I’m hoping to hear back from Bulldog Gear after the weekend.
