Not honouring quote

I have been in contact with this Company for a few weeks regarding purchasing some bricks I received quotes around £2700 which was competitive. I asked a couple of days ago for the quote to be amended having spoken to my builder, suddenly they would not honour the quote despite the website stating the lower price when I asked for the amendment and quotes are valid for 30 days. The new price would increase the cost to £4500! because the bricks are a special order even though the website stated in stock. My builder has started and I now need to try and source more bricks due to the excessive increase Customer service were helpful and are trying to amend the order with the lower price but apparently their depot are refusing to honour the brick price on the original quote.

Unfortunately I was given a deliver day…

Unfortunately I was given a deliver day which was not keep by build 4 less so when they wanted to deliver I was back at work. Had to reschedule a couple of time. All a bit of hassle.
Box profile sheeting is good. Shame about delivery.

Take your money - don't deliver and never reply to emails

I chose this company over others because of their '4 star review' - however in my experience they've probably paid for this rating or something.

Placed an order on the 24th of July, estimated delivery 7-10 days. In the confirmation email it says "we will be in touch shortly". It is the 6th of August and I literally haven't heard anything. I have sent multiple emails to different email addresses the company lists, and no one has replied - it's as if I don't exist and didn't pay all that money for the product.

I'm a business owner myself, and would be mortified to hear of an experience like this from a customer of mine. Imagine someone paying for a service - you literally have their money in your bank account - and then just not bothering to contact them or deliver on the order? Can you imagine the balls it takes to do that?

Guys, let me help you out, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They also trade under 'Insulation4less' but are the same company.

All went very wrong but they did make it right.

The whole process went very wrong. I waited in for two days for a no show delivery and then on the third day, one of two pallets was delivered and what they did deliver was the wrong product! Customer service up until the point of my escalating it to their manager was poor and no one had any information. However, I have to say once the manager got involved the process was handled with care and attention and they were very sincere and apologetic for the situation. I was refunded the delivery charge initially, and am currently awaiting the refund to come through for the rest of the order which has I believe been processed.

Would not bother with this company after being fobbed of for 7 weeks given multiple delivery dates but no item ever came I have to get a refund shocking customer service AVOID

Very helpful

There were some shortages on the delivery but I contacted Build4less and they sorted them very quickly with no quibbles and in a very friendly, helpful manner. The items were received soon after.

Roll the dice, you might get lucky

You roll the dice with these guys on whether you will actually get what you ordered. They don't have a clue what 'stock' is available, they just gamble they will be able to find someone that can deliver the items you've ordered. If they can't find anyone, then after about two weeks you just get 'so sorry, here's a refund' for the items you now won't be getting. Two weeks wasted, and back to square one trying to source the missing items. The parts of my order that did arrive, were fine, but they just showed up without any prior warning.

This company is not really worth to consider.

This company is really not worthy to look into ot. They are not willing to help in any returns, additional they will charge you 15% or more of order value for restocking item plus plus delivery charges. This is not real help to be honest in any time specifically now when we all trying to comeback to normality after spike of inflation and high interest rates.
I and my hubby have been doing extension plus upgrading our house in last 8 years and as you can imagine there ware times when we had to return goods. We never have been made to pay for return delivery not mentioning 15% of restocking fees.
I will never use your company again as it is pain to do business with them even I wanted to exchange these decking for different colour.

Scammed me over £1000

Ordered a large order (over £1000) of Cotswold chippings from this company over two weeks ago. I was told on the phone that delivery is usually 3-5 working days. After waiting two weeks for the company to organise a delivery lorry (unusual for a supposed builder's merchants), I was told delivery would be today, on the 15th April. I've had to call up three times to get an ETA, only for customer service to tell me they'll call the depot and will ring me back promptly. This has happened several times, without any communication from their side, until finally in the afternoon I questioned if it was even coming today, for the customer service agent to tell me no! The registered office address is a virtual one in Regent Street, the customer service is obviously a call centre in India, and you should most certainly avoid this company like the plague.

I've now been waiting all afternoon for the manager to call me back, which I was initially told would be within 30 minutes. I've even tried again just to cancel the order and have my money back so I can order from an actual builder's merchant, but once again I'm being told to wait and I will get a call back. Next step for me is more 1 star reviews on as many platforms as I can find them on and a refund claim to the bank. Save yourself the aggro and go elsewhere

ordered my product and stated 5-6 working days 10 days later I was still waiting, then advised to wait until the beginning of April 2025.

Having waited for over a month I have my money back, but wow what an effort and a total waste of time, I still don't trust them, maybe have a website that tells you that you don't have stock as it took you 3 weeks to tell me this.

The item you purchased is delivered directly by the manufacturer, who has confirmed that you received the correct product. They have explained in detail that while the item may look slightly different before installation, it should match the image on the product page once properly fitted.

We have offered to accept a return for the unopened product in accordance with our terms and conditions. Since the correct items were delivered as ordered, we are unable to offer a full refund. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for packs that have been opened.

AVOID -Selling stuff thats out of stock

I bought a door, turns out it wasn't in stock. Now waiting for a refund. So disspointing. You shouldn't be selling stock you don't have. Told them I was disspointed, they said sorry but no offer of any compensation, other folding doors etc etc. Avoid.

Forest Garden fence panels delivered on time

Ordered 3 Forest Garden fence panels. Delivered by a local delivery service on time by friendly driver. Panels more expensive than panels from a nationwide DIY chain, but much better quality.
