Love love love!
My husband and 16yr old son absolutely love Budgy Smugglers. Every year they love the Xmas surprise of what I’ve picked for them. The quality and designs are fabulous.
After a slight problem with my most recent order, I was contacted within hours and the problem rectified. I can not praise them enough for their product and customer service.
Tiny Trunks, Big Confidence: Smuggle like a pro!
Ordered the trunks due to their advertising pictures promoting all body types. (Refreshing to see not just six packs) They arrived quickly, fit well and turn heads in the pool. Based on this experience. I will be ordering a custom made pair for my partner.
BudgySmuggler Sparks Joy ✨✨✨

Inspired by Marie Kondo’s KonMari method of decluttering boardshorts.
The Mrs. has never been so impressed by how neat my first drawer is until budgysmuggler came along, 40 pairs and counting!
I love BS
I love BS. I have bought from you before, even though it was mentioned many times that I haven’t (albeit once).
I am disappointed with your return system, it should be automatic and online, not reliant on a human at your end, but rather a selection process (like iconic or Amazon). You might get a few people abuse it, but the people who buy from you will increase to more than cover that. An easy return system is something I assumed all businesses had and I was shocked that BS didn’t.
I love that you have amazing matching cossies for the whole family, but unfortunately they’re not sized appropriately. There’s a reason you sell out of the larger sizes and not the smaller sizes, but you realise that right? There’s a reason companies are going down now, it’s because they’re not flexible and to just think something and not find out, is a bit der. Get some larger sizes and see how you go? You don’t have to do heaps, do you?
Secondly, increase your patterns rather than your styles, look to someone like Peter Alexander as inspo - if youre not already 😉
Thirdly, flood the market, flood it with your name, your brand, everything, engage your audience through influencers or whatever. I’ve personally found your market to be women from 35-60 - use someone from there - get family shots with matching cossies (they seem to love these). Have competitions, be everywhere, if there’s a beach shot/film, be in it. Supply home and away. Do whatever it is to be the name that people think of and go to for swimmers. You’re nearly there, replace Speedo. Get the Olympic team. This is the most sensible target market - they buy for the whole family and it isn’t a fad. I’m 53 and I do aqua aerobics at Sutherland pool and the women (all older than me) strut around like they own the place in their BS - it honestly makes me smile. These women otherwise feel inadequate and unseen but BS makes them feel special (do an advert like this). They always talk to me when I wear my old passionfruit one like we are in some sort of elite club (I am not sh$tting you) and then the other night one told me she had some other designs and I couldn’t help it (forgive me). I said “wow you must be a millionaire” (her hair dye told me she wasn’t) and she frigging preened and almost stroked her own feathers. That’s the hold you’ve got on the market. This is where you’ll make your most money.
Fourthly, get some merch out there that is rare and everyone wants, be the disgusting oversized Stanley cup next summer. A Turkish towel that rolls up to the size of a tissue (remember me when you make this), a bronzing sunscreen, a wetsuit, definitely NOT a key ring, a bottle opener or a cup thing. Something really cool that keeps you woke and around for a long time.
Filthy (I typed 5thly but I like this better now), I loved the casual communication from whomever I was dealing with, it wasn’t a twit parroting politically correct nonsense. Thank you. I did want the cashola.
Anyway, that advice is certainly worth $150, I look forward to hearing from you. 😉😂
Free the love
I know you like to free the thighs, however my recent purchase was a high cut version suit. Tagline free the love handles. I definitely don't look as good as the Olympic divers, but I will still try and rock em'!

Amazing custom orca smugglers
Amazing custom orca smugglers! The Smuggler team decided on the colour of the tie straps and love the white they chose. I had a little issue with a small nick in the fabric of the previous one, I emailed them and without me asking they just were like "yep, will redo it as it can be because of the way it's printed" and sent me new ones! Now I have 2. Great customer service
How My Budgy Smugglers Solidified My Place in Manhood
I recently took the plunge and purchased a pair of Budgy Smugglers, not just as an addition to my summer wardrobe, but as a symbolic leap towards manhood. Little did I know, this purchase would become a pivotal moment in my relationship with my father.
For years, I've sought the right way to bridge the gap between boyhood and manhood, a journey many of us navigate with a mix of anticipation and trepidation. My father, a man of few words, has always been the epitome of strength and resilience in my eyes. Earning his nod of approval felt like an elusive milestone, until now.
The moment I revealed my new Budgy Smugglers, something shifted. These weren't just any swimwear; they were a declaration of confidence, a testament to embracing oneself, quirks and all. My choice reflected a certain boldness, a readiness to stand out rather than blend in, qualities my father values deeply.
His reaction took me by surprise. For the first time, words of pride and approval flowed freely. He saw in my choice an echo of his values: the courage to be different, the strength to be oneself. It was as if my Budgy Smugglers were not just a piece of fabric, but a symbol of coming into one's own, of stepping confidently into the role of a man with his own beliefs and styles.
This moment of connection, sparked by a seemingly simple purchase, has deepened our relationship. It's a testament to the unexpected ways in which objects can carry meaning far beyond their physical form. My Budgy Smugglers, vibrant and unapologetic, now represent more than just swimwear. They symbolize a rite of passage, a moment of recognition from the most important man in my life.
In terms of quality, comfort, and style, my Budgy Smugglers are unmatched. But it's the emotional significance that they've come to hold that truly sets them apart. They're not just a part of my summer attire; they're a cherished symbol of my dad's pride and a memorable step in my journey to manhood.
To anyone standing on the precipice of a similar milestone, I say: embrace it. Sometimes, it's the smallest decisions that can lead to the most profound moments of connection and growth. My Budgy Smugglers did more than just fit well; they bridged a gap between me and my father, turning a simple purchase into a cherished memory.
Stoked with my recent purchase
Stoked with my recent purchase. All matching for our rottnest swim team!
Super comfy and flattering!! ❤️
Love my budgies but…
I’m 46y.o and started swimming competitively when I was 5. I’ve worn plenty of togs. My budgies are the comfiest togs I’ve ever swum in. I’ve been using the DIY builder and have 5 pairs (same design but different colours). My only criticism would be not being able to buy different colours of the same design (using the DIY builder) in the one transaction. It means I’ve had to do individual orders for each pair and pay shipping for each one. The $150 would go straight in to buying another two pairs of DIY togs!
I needed to return original purchase…
I needed to return original purchase for a different size, this was such an easy process, customer service is fantastic .
Great customer service
Great customer service, good in store experience
Quality service
I bought a shirt and the next day it started to peel. Walking past the shop I mentioned it to the store person and without hesitate she replaced it for me and said when I come next, to drop off the other shirt. Great service!
Fun & Hot
My daughter was so excited about this calendar...it is so fun & the boys look 'hot 😍😍
Fantastic product and service!
Products are always high quality, comfortable and awesome designs. Have multiple pairs and keep coming back for more! This time, unfortunately, a pair I ordered ended up being unavailable but after a quick phone call the team sorted me out with a new design. 10/10 customer service and product. Keep up the good work legends!
