Shipping was timely, the leather panels were nice and evenly trimmed, punching block and pad are good, but the quality of the BG and Corter pricking irons was questionable. A tooth snapped within three weeks. They claim they can “punch through and release,” indicating that these are able to perforate through the leather, and not just mark the leather for awl purposes; however, they responded that this is not the intended use and that they should not be used on “thick” leather (no specific oz. mentioned).
*Update- they did agree to replace the broken unit, making this customer very happy. I do wish that there was more specific instructions given on the capability and actual intended use for these irons, since “pricking” and “chiseling” is being used interchangeably in some circles. Some modern French irons are hybrid, used for punching, and it would be good to have more detailed info listed on the website to know the product’s limitations.

0000 if possible, I would be skeptical if all the 4 and 5 star reviews were from actual customers, I purchased this product which came highly recommended by a reputable furniture manufacturer to restore the shine on leather furniture, once received, the product appeared to have a silicone base so I used a finger tip to apply a test spot on my sofa, "big mistake," I instantly remove the Giardini clear coat and contacted the manufacturer for a refund, I was told the product could not be returned, yet most reviews stated they had no issues with a return, which leads to my initial skepticism that the reviews may be fraudulent, however, after the fact, the customer service rep stated that he would post to their website that if the product is opened, it could not be returned, this would have been pertinent information to have before the purchase. 0000 is more than you deserve.

If you think the Corter brass utility knife handle is expensive, you have yet to.have the pleasure of holding one in your hand. Its pleasing weightiness and perfect balance make it a joy to use. The handle itself is a thing of beauty, worth the investment.

The hardware I purchased exceeded my expectations. The brass is thick and strong and the finish is top notch. I will use Buckleguy hardware to give my leather projects that high quality I demand.

I purchased 3 types of snaps. 100count each package. The S127B10LN Snap Button S Spring Socket IS DEFECTIVE. Buckleguy will not offer any type of help unless I send them a video of me setting the snap. Problem is the snap will not set so there is no way to send a video. The pieces are not the right size to "set" when pressing them together. I explained this to the gentleman that answered the phone. His reply...let us know if we can help you with anything else. REALLY disappointed with the after purchase service.
I do want to add that the 2 other types of snaps purchased were the ring socket snaps. 200 of them. They are great and a high quality.

i purchased 2 leather hides that smelled of mold. they would not return the items. they also avoided my emails and calls. stay away go to Weaver Leather better customer service and prices
