Ordered 1000, got 100

I ordered 1000 worms and got roughly 100. Rip off. I gave one extra star for fast shipping and healthy worms. Just wish I got what I paid for. Going to Amazon for my next purchase so I can see reviews!

A tale of two wormsites

I recently ordered two pounds of red wigglers from two different websites. One was unclejims.com and the other was buckeyeorganics.com The two orders were done on the same day. My order with unclejims.com came within the week's time even due to Covid19 and the high order rate that his website had received. My order with buckeyeorganics took over 3 weeks with little information on what the hold up was or why it was taking so long. They do not communicate with you much about your order although they encourage that type of behavior on their website. Jim's worms were small and lethargic and needed water and food right away. That is to be expected, the medium was dry as Jim's website and insert said it would be. After the long wait, Buckeyeorganics sent a notice that the worms were on the way. After tracking my order online, the worms arrived after 6 days in the postal service in a moist medium ready to fight. They were fat, plump, and sassy. I had to slap one because they got fresh with me. I stuck them in their bin before they said anything more. Buckeye's were poor on communication but have a great product. They were lower cost overall and I felt like I received a better deal with them. Their worms came in as sexy where I had to feel like giving Uncle Jim's worms mouth to mouth to revive them. Buckeye's does not give any insert or tell you what to do next but that was okay with me as this was not my first worm rodeo.
